It's decent when it works. It's your only option if if you have an on-prem Mitel system and are using a Mac with Monterrey installed. The problem is half the time it doesn't see your audio input. Tried it on three Macs all with different versions of MacOS. Mitel needs to get their stuff in gear and get their Mac client updated.

They really need to fix this so on premises users can use it. This is especially the case since the Mitel Connect client doesn't work with Mac OS Monterey which machines are shipping with. The help option still links to Shoretel.com and fails to find the page over on the redirect to the Mitel site as well.

Softphone doesn't seem to work with all USB headsets. The software needs better audio options to choose both audio input and output just like every other standardized conference software for example. Likely, the current locked in default options to be able to choose only the input device is what is causing this issue. My headset works with every other application, skype, gotomeeting, zoom, microsoft teams, etc. Only Mitel seems to have an issue...

Quick and now stable. I use the Web Dialer all the time, my favorite feature. I wish that was an option on the Mitel Connect Client for Windows.

Love this extension but also having an issue with it disabling automatically. We use Mitel at my company so this is the only extension that will work. Any updates on a timeframe for when this will be fixed?

It used to be great, but now it won't turn on, I turn it on and it immediately turns itself off

This is good when using my Chromebook so I don't have to use Remote Desktop. One thing that would help this and the Windows app would be a softphone dialer. Sometimes I have to make outbound calls and get through an automated phone system at the other end. ("Press 1 for X, press 2 for Y.") I don't have a way to press those numbers when using the softphone. Our company used to use MXIE. It had many faults, but one good thing it did have was a softphone dialer.

This extension was great until recently when it started getting into a loop inserting the dial icon over and over. It's not specific to any web page. I demonstrated it with the mitel.com site, took a screen shot and sent it by email to the maintainer of record. They refused to address it, and instead sent this response. For the record we don't and won't have a Mitel account. We have a premises-based Shoretel system. I love this app. Use it all the time! The integration with Google is seamless and easy to use. Super happy I went with Mitel Connect for my business.

This extension is an immense time saver. Not having to dial saves my wrists and increases productivity. Thank you Mitel team!

Constantly bugs out -newest update to windows broke this and Chrome will not allow audio to pass through this extension please update

I like this app. First I think it is faster than the actual Mitel Connect app. It does what it promises, simple and elegant. A couple of things to improve on, sync status with hangouts, break the app away so it isn't stuck in the corner of a chrome window. I haven't tried it, but I think this would work great on chromebooks.

helpful to make calls quickly - but when you open emails with MS Office or anything really - the "Call via Miltel" and button image repeats over and over and over again - especially in email chains ever time it is opened and resent it send the overlay and appends to the phone numbers displayed. It also pops up when you are filling out forms with phone numbers and screws up input fields... very very annoying and unprofessional looking to have that send out with mitel all over the phone numbers obfuscating the number itself... distracting to say the least. Necessary for me to be able to click the number and call fast... seems incomplete. MagicJack and Google Voice can do the same click to call and they do not cause issues with MS Outlook or any form field I have ever used. Get it fixed and I will rate 4-5 stars.

I enter my email correctly, but it will not let me use it at all when I tried to create my own account.

This app stopped working... when I try to sign in I get the following error; "Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app. This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In."

It's simple and easy to install and the google apps integration is slick. We had to uninstall it for now because it was flagging item codes starting with a "+" as a phone number and this caused problems with some custom code in our org. You should be able customize the extension by selecting fields to ignore or the app should be more selective about which fields are interpreted as phone numbers. It seems like anything on screen that looks like a phone number is interpreted as one.

I liked the client ,Its so easy to search my google contacts , pretty much convenient to add the ShoreTel bridge to the google calendar and last but not the least , its works on my virtual desktop environment as well.
