Excellent, no frills extension. Adjustable durations, 4 buttons can be added if one does not wish to use key combo. Perfect. Precisely what i was looking for. Can only recommend this. Thank you for the effort and work you're putting into this. Much appreciated.
Fantastic addon! I sometimes watch very long videos and it's really annoying trying to go back and forward to specific parts of the video with the base YT controls. By default the Left and Right arrows are +/-5 seconds, but my setup with computer connected to TV it isn't always convenient to use the keyboard just to do skips. So I finally decided to look for an extension and this is exactly what I wanted. Simple clickable buttons. Thank you!

This extension is pretty good. I would see this as a 5 star extension if: - The shortcut keys were configurable - The shortcut keys were global shortcut keys (worked even when the focus element is not on video player) 2021-01-02 - I had rated this Extension as 3 stars in Jan 2019. After 1 year of using it ➔ 5 stars. EVEN with my previous suggestions. Controls for Youtube seriously rocks.

A critical extension for people doing serious work with videos (such as my purpose - research). The absence of rapid, easy scrolling in time back and forward in a video simply prevents use of videos in research. This extension solves this problem. Thanks for writing it! Serious problem uncovered, so I had to drop my review to 3 stars. This extension hijacks the "Ctrl + Shift + Arrow" combination on ALL web pages, even ones that have no YouTube video playing. This prevents use of these keyboard shortcuts in editor panes, so there's no way to use the keyboard shortcut to select an entire word, for example. There is no way to configure the keyboard shortcuts in this extension, so unfortunately I must disable the extension for normal daily use of Chrome (outside of watching a YouTube video).

Amazing extension, thank you for your efforts!! The unfortunate thing for this extension, almost a week now it has stopped working, so unhappy about it because I've had it for quite some time that I still try to go and use them and they're not there.?
I updated to version 1.28, but the buttons are still disappeared from youtube video player.
Update: stopped working August 2020 THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS, I LOVE IT. Sometimes you just skip something, having these buttons for fast rewind is so dope
Few days it worked fine. But now controls are not coming on youtube window i uninstalled and reinstalled chrome but still controls are not showing on screen

Stopped showing buttons on the player as of yesterday it was great till then. =(
Just recently I noticed that after pausing a video that when I restarted the video it would play slower than normal with the audio being distorted into a lower register. It turns out that it was this extension causing that to happen. I am assuming this was caused by a Chrome update. I am using a Linux based distro.
Very Usefull extension . When the mouse is over the buttons (backwards,forwards...) the Tips showup and covers a part of the video. Disable Tips when the mouse is over the buttons would be good . As a option or other way. Any way i can do it ? Thanks
This product is exactly what i was looking for since there's no option to skip 10s on YouTube website yet and it is really difficult for me to skip forward video on my touchscreen laptop. Thus, I'm grateful and kudos to the developer! The only problem i'm having now is i hope it can only implemented in every video player on the internet and not only YouTube :D

Would love for the keys to be configurable. I would like to use this feature with one hand using one key instead of doing a whole ctrl + command shortcut, similar to YouTubes 'J' 'K' 'L' defaults. Having the option for a 3 second skip is extremely helpful.
Would love it if it applied to all websites with videos, like VRV.

This extension is awesome and a must-have for me, but it causes Google Inbox to load continuously so that nothing can be clicked. Any ideas? Thanks! EDIT: quickly fixed!
This extension is running on every web page, and is causing conflicts on certain sites. Please update permissions so that it ONLY runs on youtube. Otherwise it works well.

Works well, but the icons are counter-intuitive. Fast forward icons rotate counter-clockwise. Reverse icons rotate clockwise. They should be flipped.
Good, simple, does what it says. To be honest, I don't understand why google doesn't just add the rewind button to youtube for us so that we don't need to resort to extensions.
