Is literally the best. When other apps couldn't find the music I was looking for, this one found it in very little time. This is probably my second review I've written in history. I love this extension.

It identified an obscure song sang in a foreign language.

Doesn't work

Works surprisingly often. Even without lyrics it regularly finds the song.

Good to use

This is quite a good extension, it can detect sounds sounds in the browser which I think is quite cool yea.

It does what it's supposed to, but this extension will pop up random links overnight when I'm not using it. UBlock Origin blocks these shady websites, but the source of the popups is from this extnesion. Also, in its privacy practices, it says it collects your age and other very unneeded information. I'm suspicious of the extension overall.

takes a long time to load so short clips have already ended before it can even listen to it so i have to time it perfectly so it loads at the right time

IDK if it got worse over the years, or I'm just trying to find more obscure songs nowadays but good god this sucks. 80% it will detect a song that ISN'T EVEN CLOSE to what you were feeding it. It's a good last resort, but don't expect it to pay off.

Used the extension to identify song in a YT Short. Worked well and found the song that was really rare (in sense of low exposure). So far so good.

After being disappointed by Shazam's chrome extension I am pleased to say this not only works with a clean version of the music playing but can even point out the music in a cluttered video with voices and sound effects in the background of the video, which is impressive.

could not identify any song

It worked fine the first time I used it, and afterwards too, it helped me correctly identify at least three songs. But since then it sends me to terrible song remixes which use a sample of the song I'm trying to identify.

Using it since a month. Works like a charm. But it got 4 songs wrong :(

Works like a charm. Felt like such an idiot putting in Lyrics into Google for 20 minutes just to find completely different songs and this extension found it correctly in barely 1.

wayyy better than shazam because it always finds the song you want because it scans the web for a song match instead of having a select amount of songs it can show you the name of

Super cool extension, I was looking for this music for days and this app reconized it within seconds. I can recommend it enough.

Works most of the time. One time it even managed to find an obscure russian song that played within a recorded clip of a video game, on a fairly distant virtual radio, with ambient background noise.

Approved! Had it for years and has never failed to work it's magic. Even if the track is quiet in the background with someone talking over it.

The Spotify support makes it better than Shazam, with YouTube Music support it'd be amazing.

Amazing, the only music indentification extension that actually works!! Tried Shazam & Midomi, completely useless, both work 2/10 times. AHA Music works 10/10!!

I thought it would play music but nothing happened! I would prefer something that plays music ?

Keeps misidentifying songs

It was great while I had it but, starting from December 2022 It stopped accurately giving results PLUS only links spotify. This is problematic b/c Spotify has a limited selection of music. I don't know why it had to change. Removing it now

Good. But some songs can't be found and it directs to a 404 page.

Finds every single song from any website. Recognition is quick too, very helpful while finding songs from vlogs.

This can identify background music even when someone is talking over it, I love it

Fantastic, was searching all over for a clip, even Shazam couldn't identify it. This found it within 5 seconds, first try.

BEST MUSIC FINDER EVER!!! No matter it's soundtrack, vocal song or whatever, with AHA, you can easily find your music.

In my experience this extension used to work very nice and identified most songs i was looking for. But now I can't get it to identify any song I play. I even tested this by playing the Spongebob Squarepants theme, but it recognized it as some other song I never even heard of called Voyage - Deglazed which doesn't sound even close to Spongebob in the first place Please fix this.

not perfect and doesn't find every song but does a great job and finds a lot of uncommon songs great for twitter and meme edits.

It doesn't find literal anything, but it does better than many other similar extensions. Using this to find meme song/bgm in videos >__>

This plugin is the goat bruh, i needed to find a song that was used in a video for 1 second and this thing found it. holy, so useful.

No longer works, says browser can't record audio.

Doesn't work, pops up message "Your browser can't record audio" with no solution, no permission dialog, nothing.

It use to work on edge, and there is this browser bug you guys talking about. I understand, but then how come there still people able to use it? You guys use different browser or somewhat? How did you guy resolve it?

It actually works better than any other chrome extension for identifying music, especially with youtube-only music. I listen to english and japanese music, it does both flawlessly. No other extension has been able to identify the japanese music or the music that exists only on youtube. The major flaw of this extension is it has ads. I cannot figure out how to remove ads. I would gladly pay to remove ads. Even though it is a small bar at the bottom, it's the principle. I don't want an extension reaching out to ad services. I don't want an extension making any web connections that don't immediately relate to its functionality. If you can overlook that, this is the "best" audio recognition extension available for chrome.

I used it 2-5 times and failed after that in my last trie i successfully found the song

It has been amazing finding music that I like without trying to search it up all the time. It is so easy to use this. One problem is that it doesn't register some types of music that are not copyrighted so it sometimes leaves it out.

Immediately found the name of a song after 3 days a of failed searching, including using Google Assistant.

Really good extention because whenever i hears some good music on YouTube and i don't know what it's called it can find that song for you under 10 Seconds. It takes you to it's website and plays that song that you wanted to find out. Really Good!

Had this for a while. Never identifies the song correctly, if at all, even when there's no other audio included. Tested a bunch of songs just now out of curiosity. No success.

it used to work for microsoft edge, now it's totally broken. when using it, the audio gets completely distorted like a broken tape and is unable to find the audio even after waiting a few seconds.

Wanted to know this song forever and finally stumbled on this and it nailed it the first time. 5 stars

It doesn't work anymore. I even reinstalled it, it just keeps glitching and finding random songs. Too bad, cause this app saved me many "What's the music of the video" comments. Using it on Brave browser.

Says "Your Browser Can't Record Audio" but I didn't change anything. How do I fix it?

The addon worked out great for a while but now it's unusable. I tried on both Twitch and Youtube and when you try to find a song, it distorts the audio and it can't find anything. I try uninstalling/reinstalling and it doesn't matter, the latest version bricked it.

I Tried shazam Extention before, but that is not found in many songs, but this beat shazam!

This is undoubtly 5 star app. I just gave 1 star to get your (developers) attention. Then I'll change it to 5, because this is the least you deserve for this amazing extension. I'm clicking on it at it still say "identifying" without any result. It says like that. I tried removing it and adding it again to no avail.

Skip Shazam, this app's design is cleaner and found stuff that Shazam failed to.

Audio is now very crackly on Google Chrome

Didn't work on youtube. Always got "your network is unavailable" message in the end.

Used to be great, but recently has started to almost never find a result. And with popular or obvious songs that Shazam gets in one shot. Something is definitely broken in the backend.

When it works it pretty much gets about 90% of them right but as of right now it's been hitting me with a "No music playing in this tab" error everywhere continuously.

really helpful tool however recently i've either been getting the "network unavailable error" or "no result" error which is really frustrating. the issue is still not fixed as the previews reply's comments have stated. worked really nicely otherwise

It has not worked in a couple of days, lately it says "your network is unavailable" but that is not true

I'm a long time user, I actually installed this before it got "popular" and it was AMAZING when I first installed it, now it seems like it's an advertising scheme. I can play a popular song perfectly clear that it USE TO get 100% to now a random rap / pop song that has less than 1000 views. I feel like song artists are paying to have their music pop up whenever it "detects" a song now. Since google now allows their song detection AI on desktop I have moved on to it instead as it is 10x more accurate than this now. how unfortunate.

I found good song

There's so many times I want to find the music in a video, but I just can't. This finds it pretty quick even if the song is being obscured by talking and other noises. Mostly accurate although I've gotten unlucky a couple times. Overall super happy I found this. This button is staying up next to my search bar as long as it's around.

garbanzo extension. only works if you give it 24/7 access. using it as a toggle doesnt work. uninstalled.

Decently good plugin. It needs an option to export all of your discoveries to a text file or html file.

This thing is absolute GARBAGE!!!! whenever I try to identify music from a certain site "shockwave-sound.org" it just throws random suggestions instead of finding the actual song! they better fix this or else I'm never using this thing again. >: (
