No longer works. Depriecated according to Chrome Web Store. Replaced by developer tools which totally fail to work with my Galaxy Note 10. Looks like Google did it again... Took away a fantastic tool and replaced it by a non-working alternative..
Helped for developing mobile apps locally. Port forwarding features is awesome but doesn't work often.
I want to issue adb commands not see usb devices or just the name of the device duh!
Continually crashes Chrome 34.0.1847.114 i couldnt see the Browser in my DeskTop.
It's really convenient. But it looks like we can only view and inspect the element but not execute some scripts.Sometimes it cannot find the webview of my app.I'm not sure why....
Crashes all the time. Doesn't detect the phone.
Works well for me w/ Chrome on mac and Galaxy S3 - no problems at all, very quick.
Worked only once, when I just installed it. After I closed and opened Chrome again - all that I see is green Android with 1 and completely no interactions whatsoever. And it doesn't really matter if anything is plugged in at the moment
works great.
works great on OSX, Nexus 4 on KK
Does nothing when I try to use. Crashes Chrome when I try to remove it.
Dosn't work on Chrome 4 Android v31, Maybe because the USB debugging options was removed on v31. Need Help!
Amazing app!! Works great on my Samsung note 2. I was finally able to figure out the CSS problems on our company pages in a few minutes! :D
Not working at all. CLI version was much better.
Can't ever find my device to debug using this extension. I really wish the Google mothership hadn't taken down the last method of debugging via android -- you know, the one that used a localhost hook? Absolute garbage
Works great on my Nexus 7. Makes developing on the tablet much easier. Thanks!
Continually crashes Chrome 30.0.1599.69
The inspected window gets white all the time
It doesn't work at all. Installed it, and the Android icon never turns green, doesn't have any drop downs either. It makes Chrome crash after a while too.
Chrome crashed after installing this extension.
Doesn't work on Linux (Ubuntu 13.04)
AWESOME! But I should also say... FINALLY!!! :)
Doesn't work. It just freezes Chrome every time I try to start it. Now I can't delete it because it freezes Chrome whenever I try to delete it.
It's bit slow to inspect element but awesome utility for developers. Surly would grow over time.
Perfect, no more CLI adb for remote debugging. Chrome is fast becoming the best option for mobile web!
With Chrome 29.0.1547.66 m, adding this Extension totally KILLED my Chrome! Each attempt to start Chrome would completely freeze, and there is no way to nicely disable Extensions, so I had to remove it completely, which took forever because Extensions are not easy to find in the Chrome directory structure... Boo!!
When I plug in my Nexus 10, the little green Android guy gets a "1" next to him. But when I go to the list of devices, my device isn't listed. Totally unusable in its current form.
Not used it extensively but works fine for me on my first attempt. Elements highlight on the tablet as you select them in the developer tools, you can edit HTML in the developer tools and the page on the tablet will update. JS console works too. Seems to have the same functionality as developer tools on desktop chrome, so should come in very handy.
Amazing!!!
啥都没有呢,chrome v28,手机chrome也打开了远程调试
Works great for me!
Just a empty window and nothing to access. disappointing
Great addon. Much better than having to type the commands and open the inspector as a website. It would be nice if it allowed you to view output and run commands via the internal adb however.
Finally a streamlined way to do mobile debugging! My mobile development is now jet fueled!
All I can see is a empty inspector window.
At first, this tool worked very similar to the Safari/iOS debugging tools and it was great for that. But like a few other people mentioned, it quit working on me and all I get is a empty inspector window. IMHO, it is a buggy piece of crap.
Handy tool, editing on the fly is pretty nice.
Would be great if it worked, but after connecting to my device it brings up a dev tools window with nothing in - no inspector, sources, nothing - just a big white empty rectangle. Buggy dev tools - just what you want on a deadline.
very useful plugin
I am not sure what it offers besides letting you know there is a device connected. You can't shell or use any tools. The inspect page it presents when you click it didn't tell me anything about the device connected though it claimed to see one. If it had some features like a shell or a box to send commands, that would be useful.
very useful!
