Scrolling down gets stuck now. If you scroll really fast you can break out of it and scroll as normal, but then you miss the first couple of pages. Please fix.
This extension often prevents you scrolling downwards on Facebook pages. I have very thoroughly tried ALL of the extension settings and created a custom setting for the facebook.com webpages and ensured that "Make Sure Page is Scrollable" is enabled. However this extension still persists in blocking me scrolling downwards on facebook webpages on a frequent basis. Please fix this as soon as possible.
IT doesn't work any more. (google chrome Version 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (64-bit).)
Good most of the time, but: - on Facebook, sometimes it makes the page unscrollable, untill I refresh the page - should be made to auto-capture the website address when want to add custom settings
It works perfectly for most things, unfortunately it also thinks some elements on the page are sticky even though they aren't. Like the format bar on reddit comment boxes.
Just used this for 5 minutes and I'm never removing this plugin ever again! I'm amazed by how much this cleans up pages. I originally installed it so I can read articles while using the page-down key, but I never expected it to make my reading so distraction-free!
When this kicks in on a website with sticky headers it is just plain magical. Annoying pop ups? Scroll down and they just disappear, no further action needed.
How did I live without this?!
Brilliant! Does exactly what it should. Can remove annoying stick elements which consume page space when you scroll, and then return them when you go back to the top of the page.
Thanh You so much! You've just saved my life. Been looking for this specific Chrome add-on for months without success til now. In fact those web pages which contain stupid "sticky menu bar header" turn me away and go into my blacklist, instead of "helping" me. Really wished these stupid trend aka sticky header be gone for good. Huge prop to the creator of this useful add-on!

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have complained to so many websites and get ignored or I receive sarcastic arrogant remarks back. I suffered three years of torment from the growing practice of these things. I used scripts for Greasemonkey/stylish/Adblock and bookmark killer by Alisdair McDiarmid and a lot of manual work with finding the offending elements but most of the time it breaks other things. It makes me angry when they RAM huge bars in my face. They think I am stupid and confused that I need a great big bar overhanging over the contents all the time as if I'd just be sitting there staring at it constantly like a confused elderly patient with Alzheimer's and that is more important than the actual contents or like I am a goldfish trapped in a jar with a 3 second memory span to forget where things are or what I am looking at. It is an insult to my intelligence put up with absolutely no regard for user preference. Why can't they leave me alone to view and scroll the contents in peace like before without ramming great big bars and widgets in my face/fixed part of vision or even provide an option to hide it like with cookie notices? In other words they deny the user a preference they once had with absolute positioned elements. There needed to be an addon for that due to the ego of a very few people who dictate the way I should view web pages by reducing my vision of the contents to their stupid bars like with the Toshiba keyboard layout and their media buttons or on screen tv logos. This seems to have addressed it and it works perfectly. They say it is for tablets so we will go for a one size must fit for all approach. In this day and age I expect flexibility instead they chose the opposite. I want my freedom to scroll a page without the intrusion and harassment of widgets/bars that appear, get in the way of everything else and serve as a nuisance/distraction. When they are not getting in the way or take up room over the contents they serve as distraction especially when they are eye catching or when they flash. They have taken something that was once helpful, a navigation bar, and turned into a nuisance. They say "it is helpful". When uncalled for and unwanted it goes past helpful. A lot of them slow down the webpage with the shadow they put under it. It should be down to the individual user by choice like before on what they want to constantly see, not one or a few who assume what the individual wants to see based on their ideology on what maybe quicker for one particular situation must be good for everybody and everything else. At the moment it doesn't work for some Javascript enforced elements but I'll use the bookmark killer for that. Found solution: Add rule for that domain and select "Kill sticky elements immediately after detection"
i can finally read articles on any webpage in peace again!
