There are bugs but my biggest complaint is the sheer size of the textus tab for the extension.. It's literally twice the size of every other extension and blocks visibility..

Incredibly buggy, stopped working, collects ALL website data without privacy setting filters, will eventually break other things

There are so many bugs that are never fixed. The slide-out doesn't always populate the number on the page. The pop-out won't open AT ALL until I remove extension from chrome then reinstall it. The new sent message in slide-out shows as "sending" indefinitely until the slide-out is closed and reopened. If you change the name in the profile, the number and new name do not automatically sync under that number. This is just SOME of the issues. I wish we would go to another app! Makes my job MUCH harder.

Chrome extension was simple and super easy to use. I haven't had any issues.

I have been personally and professionally using textus from last 6 months and its awesome and very easy to use and i find it equally helpful.

I started using text us in August. I must say it is a really nice app. I used almost everyday for texting people. I would recommend everyone to use it. I just started using the extension, it makes it easy to use text us without needing to open the app on another screen. I am a recruiter and I need the app to contact candidates. I can send many messages at once. Text us has seriously made my life hassel free.

love this tool. I use it all the time to get in touch with hard to reach candidates!

I LOVE TextUs. It helps to streamline communicating with job candidates, and it's a breeze to use. It integrated so easily with our ATS, and I haven't had any problems at all. It facilitates quick communication, and I've found it to be extremely effective--my candidates are better at answering a text over a phone call. Thank you!

The extension has been extremely helpful for my org, super efficient and is always improving. They recently made updates that allows the pop up to be moved and overall less intrusive. Looking forward to having more of the team use it.

I just started using the extension, so far it makes it easy to use text us without needing to open another screen. I am a recruiting manager, constantly texting applicants, a lot of time I need to take information from my email or another page so this makes it easy to transfer information. The only issue is that the icon is a little big and gets in the way, but it is nice that you have the option to drag and drop it if it is in the way of what you are doing.

My company has used TextUs for over a year now. The extension is a great feature, but I don't use it enough to say anything bad. I know in the past it did print on all documents printed. TextUs is a great product as it has helped our company alot in order to get ahold of people.

I've enjoyed using the TextUs chrome extension. I love the click right feature to be able to text someone right away. My only suggest is that the extension doesn't always accurately detect numbers, and therefore, the user has to input a contact every time. It'd be great if it could be transfigured where it does recognize the numbers and names more accurately to make the adding contacts quicker.

Pop out is my favorite feature of this extension, a time saver and necessity at this point.

I use the extension primarily for onboarding and reaching out to new hires/employees from our ATS. I have no complaints!

Campaign feature of textUs is very helpful in Recruitment!

This extension has greatly helped with my job of reaching out for information that is hard to track down via email and phone calls. It is simple but very useful and I will continue to use this each day to improve my workflow. Thank you!

Love the new updates! You can now move the slide-out button when in the way which is amazing and it's great to see all the features coming to the slide-out that were previously pop-out only. Really good improvements!

While the original pop out extension had a lot of great features, it wasn't as slick as the slide-out. Now that we have the slide out tab on the page, I'm in love with using it. I can use my TextUs on any page and it is quick and accurate

We used the Textus extension before they updated the app, and loved it. However, the new extension doesn't work as well as the previous one did. The red notification doesn't always appear on the extension when a message is sent. We don't have an option to automatically pull phone numbers from a web page when using the slide out extension like we used to, and this was one of our favorite features with the previous slide out. The extension also lags, and runs very slow. Most of our team has decided not to use it, as it makes the app itself run slower.

When my company started us on the older textus extension and slide out, it was MUCH better. This new version is very buggy, less stable and not as user-friendly with too many steps to do simple things.... I can see by all the 1 star reviews that I am NOT alone..

It's too unreliable, glitchy and intrusive. It impacts many other vendors and platforms negatively, and it doesn't work as described to find numbers - the one, valuable update that we were excited about. Would've been nice if the previous extension was maintained and you had the choice of using this one. Being forced into it with the impact it has on other vendors/systems is unfortunate.

I like the new slide out as you are able to quickly open/close the conversation. I wish you could move the 'tab' to a different location on the screen as many times it's over another button and hate turning it off constantly to work in Bullhorn especially. Sometimes it is slow to load the extension. Many times both the pop out and extension are slow in loading new messages. Besides a sound, it would be beneficial to have the extension blink (or something similar) for new messages. The extension doesn't have the signature or dictation which I use frequently. Emojis would be great too, but not a must.

lol ... Textus isnt working right now so probably not the best time to ask us to review it

It doesn't load new messages very fast at all. I'll be getting the desktop notification to open the website long before the chrome extension has noticed the new message. It's also difficult to navigate between my messages, or my office's messages and such.

Not there yet... The original version was so much better. The slide out is not functional. Really wanted to like it, but now it's just in the way.

The slide out cannot be moved and covers up important information on my screen. Not all of my texts transfer over to the log in CTMS and it seems random as to which ones do and which ones don't. Sometimes it still can't find the phone numbers on the page.

This extension was horrible! The side bar is in the middle of your screen, right in the most inconvenient place, and you can't move it! I disabled it and removed the extension.

Not too happy with the delay in sending messages, the app ended up texting my clients at 1 am and they were not too happy about it, this was 12 hours after the text was sent.

The new slide out is great! I can use it on any page again, just like the previous version.

The slide-out is definitely a better experience than using the pop-out, especially without two monitors. Looking forward to more functionality being added.

We have had a great experience using the TextUs Next extension as a messaging tool between Hiring Managers/Recruiters and candidates/employees. TextUs has made tons of improvements to their platform since we started working with them and they continue to release enhancements to their functionality that have made a huge difference in our user experience. We are excited to keep working with TextUs!

The slide-out is BACK! The new updates make it easy to see my notifications and stay on top of my inbox.

I really like this extension! It helped us give our customers access to the much needed functionality of texting back and forth with their users. We were able to embed it into our product in just a couple of weeks and our Account Manager at TextUs did a great job training our team and answering questions. Looking forward to what TextUs will do next.

We use the feature for contacting potential Candidates to hire for open jobs. It's easy to use and really functional for our needs as a business. Our experience seems to be drastically different from the reviews on this page since the extension has improved the functionality in recent releases.

Why is this so horrific?

Echoing a lot of the feedback given by others here... This was a true failure of failures when it comes to updates. I've gone from using TextUs dozens of time a day to barely looking at it, if I can avoid it. This was incredibly disappointing because TextUs truly provided some revolutionary new capabilities that I had never truly been able to leverage with our systems, as they were, and now it's essentially a worthless platform. I hope there's some way that previous features can be returned and that this lessons runs deep in the team who made these changes.

My whole team and I absolutely hate this new version. We don't get notified that someone has texted us back, so there can be a lot of missed messages. The system also says it can integrate with our CRM system, but it does not work. The search bar to quickly search contacts is absolutely awful. We can rarely ever find anyone in the search Bring back the original version!! The one positive that I like about the new version is that we can set our business hours, so it will send away messages outside of our business hours automatically. The original version would send away messages as well, but if someone still had the site or app open it wouldn't send the away message.

I get no notifications that I have a new message. The old version would ding my computer and my phone. This one does neither. I just have to constantly remember to go in and refresh the app all through out the day to get the new messages. On my phone I have to close the app each time for a new message to come through. This is a HUGE down grade form your original version. Awful

I spent a lot of time programming textus to work in my salesforce org through process builder. With this update, which we were forced into, none of it works. none of it. When following their instructions to get it working again, their instructions froze our entire system so we couldn't do any work. Do not like the update not sure why they felt the need to force everyone into a new version.

The original TextUs has its kinks, but still superior compared to this one. This has too many bells and whistles that are unnecessary and will be under utilized. The pop-up has lag and doesn't live update. The web tab is satisfactory, but still prefer the multiple text boxes on one screen.

Much more difficult to use than the original TextUs extension and a lot less user friendly. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Very frustrating update....I am unable to copy and paste a name and number, I have to hand type it! My other concern is the newest messages do not stay at the top...I need a way to sort unread, not just those I have not responded to, I will not respond to everyone. Very unhappy with this update!

like everyone has messaged greatest asset this service had was the sidebar extension that automatically entered the number that was on the webpage, now I have to bounce back and forth just to send a text message as a sales feature THIS SUCKS and you should fire some on the engineers who threw this together quickly and took out lots of the features that people love. I will be discussing about moving to another service after this fiasco!

The advantage to using this extension was having the ability to find phone numbers and text from any page. Now there is basically no point in even having this extension.

Actually, I just learned that this extension cannot bring back the sidebar due to changes with google. Going to say it anyways "bring back the sidebar"!

IMHO this is more like a beta version that has not been well thought out. The old version was much more user friendly. Now that the sidebar has been eliminated I do not see the value in the extension at all. It has become a mass text system like so many others. I might as well just use the app on the phone. I am sure many businesses will rethink paying for this service. Bring back the sidebar!

TextUs is a great tool for quickly opening up a sidebar while reviewing notes on a profile. Well, it was anyway. Now it's an entirely separate screen/app. This means switching back and forth between TU and whatever site you're using it with. Give me back my sidebar. Literally nothing that can be implemented will be used or beneficial without that.

This is awful. Bring back the old extension! it integrated with Salesforce and we were able to use it quickly and didn't take much work at all!
