I like this version of Petapator very much. It is useful to view images of patents in USPTO databased, and I can easily see Abstract and bibliography information of US patent applications. I am patent examiner in one of patent offices busily involved with PCT applications. The petapator helps me achieve highly efficient patent search results required in patent examination works.

This plugin is a must for IP personnel. btw, a quick turn on/off button is preferred, since sometime we need only a simple, quick, patent search which do not require so much details (Petapator may increase the loading time). Furthermore, the "Patent Bell" function is great for snow ball prior art search, but that's almost all just this, its application is a little bit limited, as a In House IP personnel, instead of knowing the cited reference of a pre-determined patent, im more interested in who/when the determined patent have been cited as reference for potential infringer search. Last but not least, Its not perfect "YET" but its very close to it. thank you for providing such a great tool for us.
I have found this extension to be very helpful and easy to use. I appreciate the effort that the author puts into updates / improvements.

Makes the UPSTO's search much more useful and intuitive. Sometimes it is slow to load, but browsing pages of results is much easier.
Great help for those who have to frequently read or monitor patents. Things to improve: interface design and usability.
It isn't perfect, but it saves me so much time when I'm searching at USPTO.gov, I have to give it five stars.
It's a lot easier to read than the USPTO. The UI could be cleaned up.
A few glitches and suggestions for improvement: (1) I cannot seem to access images after the search expires. Cannot reset it by closing page, closing chrome, or disabling the program; (2) the automatic scrolling through the thumbnails of the drawings is distracting and kind of annoying; (3) it would be nice to have an option to rotate particular drawings. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
I have tried many programs to view images associated with patents, but this is cool! Keep up the good work!

EXCELLENT! But, it requires access to ALL DATA in ALL WEBSITES. A much higher rating would be warranted if it only required access to data on USPTO.
Wow, what a great extension. Makes searching patents enjoyable again.
The new released as of Nov 25, 2012 requires access to ALL DATA in ALL WEBSITES. This is not only intrusive but highly questionable as far as security assurances. I am disabling it! Before today, the Extension was quite useful and effective; not anymore!
This takes a lot of the frustration out of using patft.uspto.gov.
