Used to work just fine, but it appears to have stopped working (either in whole or in part) sometime in the last day.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Once I figured out how to switch it ON, it worked great. It really should be ON by default, it'd probably save all the negative reviews from people who couldn't get it to work.
WORKS
Doesn't do anything. Settings don't change anything either.
Works as intended, view threshold is also neat feature to keep those 'clicked on' videos that haven't been fully watched yet but of course can also be removed if desired.
It doesn't seem to do anything. My home screen still is full of videos I've already watched.
Installed extension and refreshed youtube and it was showing video's I had already watched in the first two rows..Why is it so hard to filter out something so basic, youtube has become almost as repetitive as regular tv, I left tv because I want to be in control of what I watch NOT someone else...
Only 5 per day unless you pay. GREED! No thanks!
Perfect!
does what it's supposed to do, only thing is it just removes the video from the row without actually rearranging anything, just leaves a blank space
Actually works and visibly removes stuff in your homepage. Mine's now mostly blank due to how often YouTube recommends already watched videos.
Doesn't work at all. I installed this because my homepage is all videos I've seen before. Installed the extension, refreshed Youtube, still all the same videos that I've seen before. This extension just doesn't seem to have had any effect, and I'm confused why because the most recent update was only a couple months ago.
I'd love the ability to hide videos in your subscriptions that are 1 month old or more.
This extension legit saved youtube from me, if the algorithim decides you like watching repeat views they will not stop sending you the same content. My only feature request is a small button on the recomendations for each to mark it "watched" in freshview for the few videos that get through (probably not the fault of extension at all to be clear likely videos I watched signed out etc)
it doesn't work on Chrome / Windows 10
Great extension that works too well! I really wish there was an optional toggle to 1) Not hide videos on channel pages 2) Not hide specific videos (whitelist)
I have been looking for extension like this for ages! It works so well! I would recommend it to everybody!
Great extension, I watch a ton of podcasts on YouTube so its great for me, I just wish it would hide them in the suggestions too. Then it would be perfect!
EDIT: Developer Released an update fixing the issue, amazing stuff! 5/5! Was one of my favorite addons but no longer seems to work :( I really hope dev sees and is able to fix it, would love to see it working again and return to 5 stars
Works well and removes one of my many hates about Youtube.
Stopped working after a few weeks of use.
Please update this. It's hit or miss now.
does not work anymore
It's simple and it works, my YouTube experience has gotten a lot better. Edit: Recently the extension stopped working and watched videos are still visible. Needs a fix. Temporarily dropping a star.
Recently attempted using this only to discover when enabled on a channel, will show you the same videos on repeat. Very strange.
Works for me. The filter by %age watched is very helpful.
doesnt work
Absolutely amazing! I got so tired of having to click on the 3 dots, then click Not Interested, then have to choose why "Ive already watched the video" or "I don't like the video". And all that for YT showing it to me anyways. PLEASE KEEP THIS UPDATED! <3
Would be great if there was an option to only hide videos from the "recommended" sections of YouTube. Unfortunately this extension hides the videos from everywhere, like from searches, and the uploader's home page, etc.
Works perfectly ! I used to have a script in Tampermonkey, but this is better, simple on/off and threshold. I wish that YouTube won't shove in my face the videos I watched few hours ago...So this is a must . Thank You.
Simple and easy to use, works beautifully and does exactly what I was looking for - thanks!
It is a nice extension, does exactly what it says, but I don't think it should hide Playlist Videos, if you have a music playlist or something similar that you watch more often all the videos are gone lol.
Did not work for me, all it did was remove the option to hide videos and recommendations. I had videos I've already seen pop up again, and was missing the red bar in the thumbnails.
Generally a 5* extension, but at the moment it doesn't seem to be working 100%. That is, it does hide viewed videos on the subscriptions page, home page, and user/channel pages, but not in the sidebar when I'm playing a video. Hoping the dev patches it soon, because this extension is generally way better and faster than other solutions I've tried!
Worked great as description!
Worked great... while it worked. At some point, it just stopped functioning entirely, like another recent reviewer said.
Feel bad for only doing a review when it broke but her it goes. Been loving this for quite awhile now but it has recently stopped working. I does nothing anymore. I fiddle with the view threshold and the hide box but they don't affect anything anymore. Hope an update fixes it.
gayet iyi çalışıyor dediğini yapıyor.
Works perfectly and seems to have been updated after the recent Youtube layout switch over which is amazing! You can toggle how much of a watched video you want to keep or clear off you feed giving you the chance to keep videos you've only watched half of to stay in the feed to finish watching later.
This extension just gets me. Good job.
very good
doesnt work for playlists on the home page
It's not the author's fault I think, but I tried to extensions (both open source and available on Github to review), neither one managed to hide watched videos. For the last few weeks Youtube kept (and keeps) showing me videos I selected the "Hide" context menu option for. They are removed from the GUI, the XHR request that occurs when I click that option seems to succeed, but upon "Subscriptions" reload all is there again. Neither the other extension I tried nor this one changed anything at all (I even rewatched a video to make sure it is marked watched and set the threshold to 1%). I still see every single _already watched_ video. I think there's something wrong with Youtube that an extension simply cannot work around. As usual, given the distributed and fragmented nature of the Youtube backend, not everybody has the same experience.
Спасибо за расширение. На сегодня это лучшая реализация такой фичи. Ты даже сумел боковую "Up next" секцию видео одолеть!
hello, looks good! <3
it's so great!
Really useful for anyone who frequents youtube!
Really useful, must use for anyone tired of seeing the same recommended vids.
