Wish there were more choices in web readers. I used it to read my daily scripture via email. It would only read half of it.
I have an idea, replace Shift Drag. Can you do it?. https://imgur.com/I3B3qyH
great. a few feature suggestions - a inverted dark mode - 2 column mode - ability to remember last page position - also allow user to select the text that is to be shown in read mode. sometimes the app cannot extract text properly. so user can select text. - also readme page on start can explain the hotkeys etc is the source open ?? would like to contribute , as a developer
It is okay.
I really like this!! :D But you could be possible to change the number of columns - 2 will be great, the font and background colors, but it's ok anyway :)
A keyboard shortcut please!
There's no sound
Only reader that worked on the first article I tried.
First everything appeared pitch black (finally i changed the setting in the dark) Surprise!!! Text is overlapping top part missing its just garbage what you see. I think this app is buggy useless. Thank you!
Excellent!
Hi there! I love this app. it's great - very useful and innovative in the sense that it's a very simple, yet pragmatic design. However, I gave this app four stars because I would love to see a keyboard shortcut functionality. That, is the only thing preventing it from being five stars. Other than that, I appreciate the existence of this extension :)
doesn't work!
This is perfect. I wish it had a night mode theme, also if it showed an estimate of how long it would take to read something would be beyond awesome.
Helpful but needs to be updated because it takes awhile to start working and it should auto load the next page
Love it.
I really love this!! :D the only think that it would be great to check are the font and background colors, but it's ok anyway :)
This extension does exactly what I need it to: it takes web pages of block text, sprawling from one edge of the screen to the other, and compacts it into a beautiful reader in the middle, with plenty of customization. Thanks a ton to the developers behind this.
自动滚动模式遇到网页有大号的标题或者有图片时会滚动的非常快,导致看不完就翻过去了
Absolutely wonderful. Makes reading on the web a pleasure.
This is magic! However would appreciate if this handy tool could be activated with a keyboard shortcut.
Unique UI for a Web Reader. Minimal and functional.
excellent extension. beautiful interface
It has a few hiccups on random pages but in general its fabulous!!
Super excellent. Turns distracting web pages into nice, readable, articles.
Needs custom color controls. Otherwise great.
Brilliant extension! The only problem for me is that it doesn't work when reading a pdf on Google Drive. From reading the other reviews, I can see that other people have a similar problem. Maybe an option of which part of a page you want to read? A bit like the element selector (magnifying glass) on the webkit inspector?
Excellent! This extension is perfect exactly what I was looking for! There should be more color combos though I think!
This is an amazing idea and something I've always needed and never realized. I love it and thanks so much for making it! However it can be improved a lot. - I don't use it unless I'm reading a long essay although I'd like to use it for all websites, because it only shows the important part of the website and ignores sidebars, headers, etc. - Would love some more color choices and keyboard shortcuts But whatever, I shall use it even if none of these are implemented.
Great extension! I now use it every time there's more than a few lines of text to read. I'd like to see a possibility to read white text on a dark background though. Strains my eyes a lot less! More customization options in general would really make this perfect :) EDIT: woop woop! Looks like the dev added themes and a text size option. Kudos!
Fantastic concept that has improved my reading experience on the web.
Can you please add support for right-to-left languages? The function of Next/Back buttons should be mirrored.
It's brilliant when it works. But for some long pages contain several div elements(like reviews templates of chrome extensions, am not a web designer), this add-on can only load one of them. Hope there will be some new editions.
It is a great idea, but spoils it when trying to reformat it. It tries to turn the page into its own scroll. It would be best to leave the page as is, and not touch the format, or at least make it an option.
Brilliant idea of scrolling web pages. At first it felt a bit uncomfortable but within minutes it became very comfortable. Now I am using this extension to read all the blogs and online manuals. This is the first chrome extension I have ever used.
amazing way to read
Awesome idea and execution. Not sure if I can get used to it. But from what is worth this is a great example of detect a problem and fixing it.
It's a bit wonky in the sense that it only really works with articles and you'll lose any of the page formatting BUT Within minutes I was used to it and reading with greater speed and comprehension. Love it!
This is really neat extenstion! A few requests - 1. The 'MagicScroll view mode' can be refined and be made more clean. 2. Customizable page width, font, spacing (line). 3. Enable <Esc> key to get back to the original page.
Woah this is more awesome than I could have imagined.
Holy crap, this is a really cool idea. Can't wait to see more options and more applications of this.
This is an amazing idea and makes reading articles a real pleasure.
This is awesome!!!!!!!!! Thanks :)
This is so very cool! Will try it out and hopefully keep it.
A brilliant idea, but doesn't seem to work on most sites, as it displays ALL the text, including sidebars and similar things as main text. I have to say, the idea is amazing though.
Love it! Thanks for the hard work
Brilliant idea! Incomplete execution. Hopefully future versions will include customizable display (width/font), some keyboard shortcuts, I'll be keeping my eye on this to be sure. On long-form pages it is absolutely amazing. But most of the internet is tailored for short-form so this plug-in's uses are limited for now.
Great Idea! It does make a difference.
Interesting. It would be nice if there was a keyboard shortcut to convert the page.
Amazing. I wish I could do this to PDFs as well
