Notification page is white. Would you please change this color to grey? Pure black also irritates eye.

Why after the amount of time you set it to (for the break) does it reset? That makes no sense! Fix please!

I am using this extension for years and I like it. But still there is one very basic bug that's not fixed yet. When it counts down to 20 minutes, it doesn't consider any 20 seconds break and restarts next 20 min countdown right away. I thought of making the timer for 20 min 20 seconds to avoid this issue, but unfortunately it allows 5 min increments only, which I don't understand why! I am cutting 1 star for the bug, and another star to get attention (if I can). Hopefully you solve the issue and compel me to give you 5 stars which you really deserve :)

Great app but would be nice if there was a volume control option for the sounds. I love the option to choose different sounds but the ding was too loud for me

Add a 20 seconds timer when taking a break.

Honestly, this app is better than all the other eye protection reminder apps on the Chrome Store, customizable and comes with helpful tips prompts. Its use is great beyond the price we pay, it's completely free, some people should be less demanding and complaining. :)

Just Perfect!

Size > 5.5 MB? Such a simple apps and taking so much size? Even apps like Kaspersky or IDM takes less than 1 MB. It simply shows the quality of coding that you guys follow. Uninstalled.

Crashes on Ubuntu. Is there anything to fix it?

I have set it for every 20 minutes with Nokia annoying sound with a message 5 pull ups. And it works like a charm. Refreshed me every 20min's :) Thanks for this app

Sorry for 1 star but I want you to notice this review. This release is corrupted. Please do something about it.

It is working fine in Chrome installed in windows, but it crashes as soon as I try to open options in chrome of Ubuntu 18.04. It would be good to make it work fine in Ubuntu's chrome browser as well.

Works very good, will be perfect if on the exercises page has button which resets the counter and perhaps closes the exercises page too.

Chrome reports that this extension may have been corrupted. Reparing doesn't get rid of it.

Would be great if everything worked properly. Unfortunately I could not get the desktop reminder to work and the sound is so so loud.

Why do you need to read my browser history? It is beneficial to use I totally agree, but I still can't get why you need my browser history. Can't you disable your need for that option? This is certainly nowhere close to 5 stars unless you stop doing so because most of who use this app are probably quite smart and will notice that you use it. + This isn't a super duper app to make money from it by selling our private browsing history, just saying. If you need money, add a donation button, people are generous.

I think the "Take a break" page should have a black background as opposed to the current white one because it would be easier on the eyes.

I love apps that remind me to act like a human, and this is one of them. My eyes are always strained from staring at the screen, and I can feel the difference (some relief) after using this.

Read my browsing history? for what?

BROWSING HISTORY-WHY ??? - Good until I noticed it has permission of browsing history

It doesn't say it'll work offline. What is it using the Internet for? And since it also wants my browsing history, I think I'll uninstall and use another extension. It' too bad because it's actually a nice extension otherwise.

App helps immensely with eye strain and is a good reminder for breaks. I like that there is sound notification, an extensive exercises page and an easy way to toggle it on and off and reset timer. Could be improved with added functionality of tailoring when the app is running (e.g. during work hours) and to also add in a break time period, but otherwise does a good job.

What a great app! This can really safe your eyes from any strain. Pair this app with a blue light removal application like flux and your eyes will thank you for it. Despite the app mainly being for the eyes, I recommend setting a custom notification to remind you to also have good posture while your at it!

Was always looking for an app like this and this turned out to prefect! One suggestion though play around with the settings and set one which matches your needs

It is a great non-intrusive tool to help keep eye strain in check. I like the option of a new tab opening when it's break time so you can't miss the alert when you're on the computer. I also like that it has a sound option which I use when I need to be looking at my phone for a long period of time. A big issue is that it doesn't have a timer for the 20 second break with a signal when it ends. Yes, I can count to 20 myself but I'd like to let my mind wander/relax during the breaks instead of focusing on counting. This feature may not be as important to others as to me, but it's for this reason that I did not give it 5 stars.

the app is exactly what i want! one problem is that the second 20 minutes doesn't consider the rest time. so the consequent time become shorter. i suggest it start to time the second 20-minute when i close the pop-out tab.

The app does exactly what it says and i love it! but i will give it 5 star only when, 1) it stops accessing my browsing history. 2) the developer adds a better User interface [Make the notification pop up somewhere in the side of the screen instead of opening a new tab] 3) Add a timer for the 20s i keep my eyes away from. Overall this extension is a 'Eye' saviour! I'm using it and a desktop app called f.lux These two apps are great!

It's nice, but the grammar could be improved in some parts, and the text is cut off for the third passage, no matter how much I zoom in/out and despite a change in resolution.

Great extension - the one thing missing is a timer for the 20s I keep my eyes away from the screen.

eyeCare has saved my eyes! I admit that I almost skipped the exercises the first time. I gave it a try... and wow! My eyes feel better!

I am on the computer ALL DAY and this app really saved my eyes! They were hurting SO BAD plus I have terrible vision. But my eye is insanely improved after just 3-4 days using this app. Whoever made this is the real mvp<3 It's great! I just wish it would make ANOTHER notification sound at the end of the 20 sec break. But I guess I can just count to 20 no big deal :) Also maybe can you make an option for it to give you a small alert of 1min before? so you don't get caught off guard and almost die of heartattack :D haha P.S. ~Can you pls make one of these for iphone?? I can't find any good timers for eyes :/ I hope if possible one day you can make this to work offline.

I can't turn this crap off. I did not want this on my computer and can't find way to delete this app. Driving me crazy and disrupts my work every 20 minutes!!

Do yourself a favor and get this extension. Interesting fact: You don't blink when you use any kind of screen, which strains your eyes to the max and keeps it from moistening.

Can't the background be black!!! It'll keep flashing a white popup every 20 minutes otherwise and I'd rather it be a smooth, soother color that doesn't dilate my eyes too often.

I use this app to remind me to get up and stretch my back. It works great. Feature request: I would like if I could add my own custom exercise page. When the exercise page is already open it doesn't need to re-open again. (if I leave my computer on for a break it has a lot of exercies pages...)

Works great! The notifications were broken for a while and I'm glad that it is back now. A simple elegant solution for a complex problem. I've set it to remind me every 45 minutes to take a quick walk and it's helping my back and eyes. Thank you!

MALWARE that i never installed. i delete it and it is there the next time. It's intrusive ads that i never downloaded to begin with. funny thing, now that this suddenly appeared, i can no longer ad extensions nor can i get rid of this one.

Should not have access to browsing history!!! I will rate at 5 stars when this permission is removed. Also, desktop notifications are broken in v0.0.0.9 (Jan 2015).

It does its job. However if I leave my desk for an extended period of time, I have many tabs to close, created by this. Wish it would re-use the same tab and just bring it forward (if that's possible), instead of creating a new tab every 20 minutes.

This program is simply to use and highly effective. I use computer for photo editing all day and often forget to take a break from staring at the screen. This program reminds me to do so with the time interval I setup. And it even works when Chrome is closed! Many thanks to the developer for saving my eye sight and body!

I've found this really useful, especially the reminder about blinking to take care of my eyes. One minor complaint. If I leave Chrome running overnight, the next morning I have 28+ eyeCare tabs. Could you re-use the same tab when prompting again?

Why this app needs the permission to read the browsing history?!

This is very useful, one feature I would LOVE to see is to turn it on/off according to a schedule. e.g. Have it running during the day, turn off at night. Currently I have to do this manually

It does what the author says it will do. Also a recent study of knee arthritis @ the University of Michigan suggests, progression can be stopped & in some cases reversed by standing up every 15 minutes. Do the reverse if you are standing all day, sit-down. Minor issues are: needs more sound choices & volume control, a way to preview the setup as you can with screen-savers, minute resolution for timer & like to have the countdown on the icon.

Could you add the reset button for the timer, please? Because the break can be longer than 20 seconds and we all want to reset timer easily. P.S. You can also add an option to reset the timer when you close a message manually. It would be even better!
