Makes simple things like printing more complicated and time consuming. I am removing it as its not making anything easier.
Basic functions, such as rotation to name a fundamental one, are removed without having a subscription. Browser extension should allow for all functions and be embedded in the browser window and not have to open multiple new windows to manipulate the document.
I got sick of dealing with the new interface and disabled it. There's no way to tell how zoomed in I am on a PDF, and none of the settings allow me to change the layout of the tools/menu.
They "updated" the extension recently to make it more intrusive and less useful. Now it pulls in more adobe acrobat suite tools, but hides the URL of the actual file and makes actually viewing the file much harder by including a number of extra sign in boxes, panes, etc.
Sucks. Makes my work extra complicated.

This is all completely new to me. The concept, facts, condition, medications, all of it. This machine is the best. Super Simple. Put it together. I have to find the manual online, then i will know more. I misplaced my pamphlet that came with this so I am lost on some of the symbols. Hope I find a way to make this go-away. Never had it before - ever and always had low blood pressure. I gave notice at my job last week. Hope that helps. My last day is next Friday.

This is a solid extension with all of the tools. My only complaint is that it currently has to append the chrome-extension://... to the browser URL which makes sharing PDF links a bit more annoying since you have to trim that off. Otherwise, works great!

Warning - do not add this extension if you edit in WordPress. If you insert a url to a pdf into your page, this extension squirts in code to "Edit" or "Sign" that pdf, which you really do not want in your Wordpress page. There seems to be no way to disable this problem.

Working with Adobe has really improved my working. Before it, I was always stuck working. Now, it is a smooth working.
I liked the old version better. It didn't take as long to load, and it was easier to read when it was loaded. And why do you software companies have to change where the buttons are every time you update? I hate having to re-learn where all the buttons are. You may think it's more user friendly, but it isn't user friendly when the user has to relearn where everything is.

The old acrobat as an individual program was faster and easier to use! THis is awful. Maybe it is because people haven't used the old program but I can't think of a single way it is better. Downloaded a couple free pdf programs which are better. Just opening with google is much easier. If you need to open several documents and print...don't waste your time.

Free version of Adobe. Works great sans being able to convert to .doc. That's one of the main things needed; it's how they get to to pay.
As stated by other reviewers, it would be so much better if we could easily convert pdf files to something editable. Otherwise this works flawlessly.

It's great that this extension exists, but since the main reason most of us need this extension is to "read" PDF's, the extra stuff on the screen is unnecessary and distracting. Also, why are we required to sign in? We just want to be able to simply read pdf's on the browser. Please, make it simple. Thank you!
All I want to do is view a PDF. This extension takes 1/3rd of my screen with nonsense, asking for information about me, and distracting me from reading the information I need. Congratulations, Acrobat, you came up with a great document format (30+ years ago). Does reading a PDF file really still need to be so much about Acrobat?

VERY USEFUL FOR BUSINESS
The is a great extension! But I need ONE REALLY NECESSARY FEATURE! On ubuntu, I use chrome and adobe reader as default so I can open any file directly in chrome (which in turn opens it via the adobe extension). This is great & I love it. However, I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SAVE / OVERWRITE the pdf. Instead this extension would either save the pdf to the adobe cloud or download a new copy. There should be a simple way to just overwrite the opened pdf if its stored on the computer. <- ADD THIS SIMPLE THING AND I GIVEN 10000 / 5 stars.... PLEASE!

This has turned two steps into six. I want to click on a PDF. open it, and save it to a directory under the name of my choice. It is four steps backward!

I have a professional version of Acrobat Reader installed on my laptop, and I don't see too many differences between it and this one. Therefore, I would say it's excellent. I like being able to convert PDFs to Powerpoint documents.

I am having issues and it will not print i.e. one document was 5 pages, one sided. it would only print p 2,3,5. Why the skipped pages
As of today, I am still having issues and support can not figure it out. I paid for the upgrade to be able to edit pdf's, add signatures, complile files as we fax and this is done on the remote server. The problem is, now everybody on the server is effected. The Adobe suppoort team keeps uninstalling the software and reinstalling it over and over with no results. As of now I am paying to have this monthly upgrade that i can't even use while they TRY to figure it out!

Adobe used to work properly and I liked it, but in the last 6 months or so it has problem with authenicating a document and signature IT JUST PRODUCED 20 seconds before and was saved. I send drawings to government agencies and the signature is the ONE thing I need, and adobe FAILED overe and ove. Even their technician took over my computer and after an hour could not fix it. GREAT TECH SUPPORT??? At least they are consistant, AWFUL! They still can not validate a signature they made. MORONS, and then they outsource the tech support. If they do not care enough about the customers and pawn them off on untrained peole in another country because THEY SAVE MONEY, ADOBE IS THE WORST

I like the 'Draw with freehand' feature. Useful. Adobe extension is clearer to me than other pdf viewers on the internet. This is noticeable when there are annotations on the pdf document. Thanks for a good work Adobe. Keep it up.
I have been an Acrobat user for many years. I first started with Acrobat in the Macintosh computer environment while I was teaching Graphic Design programs in an educational environment in an Associate degree program at a technical college in Tampa, Florida. I continued to use the program with related programs for 17 years until I was laid off because my program was discontinued. I continued using the program in the Macintosh and PC environment for personal use and continue using it even though I am now over 70 years old!! It is a great program.
I do not know what I do without it!

Huge improvement for the Chrome: Adobe Acrobat: PDF edit, convert, sign tools extension. Everything you need is in a right-side (collapsible or expand) tool bar. This is convert from google doc to or word to pdf for dummies. It is that easy and has a create your own signature option paid version choice. I'm impressed. Anyone complaining really should hover over options or open and read tools settings to understand these options. There is help search too for common questions. It is a great tool for personal and small business use in my opinion. Good job Chrome/Google/Adobe. Now if y'all (Adobe) could come to the realization to offer more free option uses with adverts if needed to support them, I think you'd find growing businesses to be more familiar with all your programming and I think it would be an easier up-sale than the current pitch provided of very limited uses. This is why you see so many people just converting google docs or sheets to adobe now to send safely by email. I don't know why anybody is still buying Microsoft products for business when Google offers them so much more for free and this extension to convert the dinosaurs still purchasing their products.
Just want to sign a pdf I've been sent. Not asking to send a rocket to the moon. Why is this so difficult? Adobe - perhaps a survey on why someone wants to use your extension would be handy. Do you do 'user stories' in your development cycle if not then get your product team to got back to college and learn about software development. BTW - I still can't work out how to do this.
I enjoy pdf Adobe and all it's features. What I like most about the app is that it is easy to us. I am able to save my document's into the cloud making it easy to access from anywhere and any device. Plus it is widely used and is a comma format when attaching documents.

Seems like there is a stiff limit (once?) to use each tool/functionality without signing in adobe... I either do something wrong, or this only makes sense if you sign in (sign up?) for adobe... Back to native chrome pdf-viewer for me, and free app to do edits/manipulations of pdf files.... For full disclosure: I do have the whole adobe suite (I work in education), I was hoping to do some of the PDF-thingies in this extension on my laptop, instead of installing the full Acrobat app (2.6GB), or using through the Adobe suite which seems to auto-update far too often for my taste...

Until now I used Microsoft Edge's (ME) Adobe Pdf-like capability and I love the ME. However, the system has "forced" me to use this extension because there was an ICT hick-up and I am giving it to go and use Crome. I haven't try the ability for text-to-speech and xfer from Chrome to Text/MS Docos, etc an the ability to make notes, draw, highlight etc. This is to see.

I definitely like being able to open a pdf in my desktop app directly from the web. That's SO much nicer than having to download it first. I can review it to determine if or how I want to save it, and it's easier to save from the app anyway. I also HATE being asked to sign in on every time I want to look at a stupid pdf online, so I just don't sign in. I know they ask for that just so they can spy on everything we do. There's no functional need to sign in, and it's annoying to be asked, but I just don't sign in and it seems that I can do everything I need to without it.

As a retiree from administrative work and considered a super-user at my former employment, I had some difficulties to the new format. Just took a bit of playing around with it and relearning some of the new techniques. However, now, it is very convenient. Thank you.

It's Adobe for PDFs. The PDF OG. Works great. Glad it's free and not a monthly sub like many of the current iterations.
