Didn't do anything on messenger.com, people can still see dots as you text, and you'll immediately show up as online, and messages are delivered/seen/read, no matter what. This extention should just been called "very seen, as usual".. Avoid, it probably steals your data, dick pics and sells it to North Korea..

Uninstalled. Had even installed the extension fresh again but it didn't work. It worked previously it seems but it has stopped working. Chrome Version 97.0.4692.71 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Not working at all for me. Tried it with two accounts messaging another through facebook and messenger.com. The true unseen extension is I can read the message without it letting the server know that I've read the message and declaring it as "seen."

For several months I thought my pp never displayed seen in peoples pm, but, that was a lie. Just as now I tried seeing my profile from my brothers pm and realize it never worked. I was shock or possibly bamboozled, all this time I was seen. This plugin is a false promise of security. What a joke

I don't really know if it works, but the 3 dots on my messages says "mark as unread" so this means that the extension is not working.

This extension looks promising but unfortunately, it doesn't work as of now. Currently on Chrome 91.0.4472.124.
Similar to all the other reviews from this year - ever since Facebook did their update last year, this no longer works. It's ridiculous that Google continues to rate 4* because of old reviews, ignoring the fact that almost all reviews from the past 6 months are 1*.

It's been working for a year, and it continues to work. It's ideal. Edit: 10/3/21. After quiet a few months of this extension being broken, it has started to work again successfully.

When the plugin is enabled there is a problem when typing with emoticons and non-English letters.
Not working with new FB
The other "Unseen for Facebook" was probably removed by the developer so I switched with this chrome extension. I tried it but it also not working with the updated Facebook. I tried it also with the "Switch to Classic FB" script for a classic FB design but it didn't worked. I still gave it a 4 stars to support the developer. I know how hard to fix this issues, but I still hoping that they will make progress to improve and fix this extension. Thank you for helping us, so much appreciated.

It seems like facebook updated their system. It's not working anymore with the latest update.
It used to be fantastic but no longer works now I hope they fix it soon :(

This works great with old/classic Facebook. However, with the new Facebook, it is not working. And Facebook recently made the change permanent for me & i cant switch back. Please look into it. Thanks.
