This is honestly the best extension I have found

There wasn't much to offer. Very Basic with little customization or useful functionality. No Widgets. The Background Wallpaper constantly resets from the one I upload. Doesn't even have a Slideshow or Albums for Custom Backgrounds. Try it out but I'd recommend another one.

Won't load. How to fix?

It is great home tab.

I love the extension. Just one thing missing is like if we could change the size of icons. That will be a lot better. lemme know if I can help.

I have multiple devices. I was disappointed to learn that instead of being able to log into an account and have my changes made on one device synced with the other I would have to manually export and transfer my changes between devices every time I made changes.

Very efficient. I love using it.

Great stuff. If only you could set the grid amount arrangement e.g. 4 or 5 or 6 tiles wide. Bit of a pain adding shortcuts but thanks.

This has certainly replaced all my other start pages. Love it.

It's good this extension is not supposedly going against the Web Store's policies anymore. I knew it was not, but I am happy that's fixed. There are only three problems I have with this. 1: The weather area does not appear anymore. 2: The wallpaper fitting is not the best, and wallpapers can be too dark or too bright without the ability to fix them. 3: I wish for the ability to use GIFs for the website icons, but it may cause lag on weaker computers, so that is optional. - LKDYT

Its great for the most part. The weather feature has been broke for a few days, though. It always just shows 71 degrees and has no mouseover.

If it allowed me to open shortcuts in a new tab AND focus on them, then I would give it 5 stars.

The interface ls well organised and its user friendly. If there is a folder option then it will be fantastic. Thanks.

I love it, but whenever I set my background to something I like, when I go to a new tab it changes it and I have to change it to my name AGAIN! LOVE it sooo sooo sooo sooo sooo much tho!!

Am so glad this is back on the app store. I was running this through an Ooold version I would add manually to my devices for awhile, have never stopped using this. Keep up the Great work!

I liked it but there a down side when i log out it always changes the wall paper so pls fix that bug I give the homepage 8 out of ten

Images used as wallpapers become unusually dull and dim and the speed dial editor was constantly having problems where you couldn't add an image, the image wouldn't display, or you just couldnt add the tile once it was all configured. Decent-ish app but those 2 things were very aggravating. I swapped to something called like " fsd speeddial" and it lacks a few features that this extension has but performs MUCH better where it counts

Absolutely everything for an organized homepage/new tab. I MOST appreciate the extension not needing permissions to run/collecting unnecessary data. After trying multiple extensions, this is the one.

A fresh view to my Chrome, however, there are a few flaws I would like to see reworked. - Show default bookmarks bar under address bar - Show/hide block with most visited URLs - Always show day of the week and date under clock as an option on 3rd/4th click. Remove that annoying on-hover text "Click to change format".

Seems good so far. Weather is a city 125km away and can not change.

I can't use it! I tried to customize. I tried to follow instructions. It doesn't seem to follow my instructions. I'm running Windows 7. Could that make a difference?

Exceptionally better and more customizable than Microsoft Edge's default "New Tab"

On the face of it, it's one of the best new tabs out there. But then you find some little glitch, like the weather widget doesn't work, and then you see this has been a problem for 2 years, and then you conclude that the developer has (a) died, (b) doesn't care, or (c) is incompetent. For the time being, I'm going to continue to use it with the weather widget removed. It's too bad really. I can overlook a bug, by all means. But for a developer to ignore the same problem for 2 years is more than I can stand to give it anything more than 2 stars.

I was using Taskbar, then Tab Bar Extention and finally that brught me to this extention and the best of the lot, very simlpe but its all there at your fingertips. Great work

January 16, 2022: Great to see this is back on the Chrome Web Store! I missed this extension. Works great :) August 19, 2018: I love this app as it makes visiting frequent sites of mine much more convenient. However, though other people have already stated, the rainbow effect should be optional and togglable in the settings. I also have an issue where custom backgrounds do not 'stick', and it reverts to the default background. Despite these things, very useful app.

Cool home page. I redownloaded it recently, but one issue that bothered me most is still there. Background always changes to default

It just stopped working on 2020 then it came back December 2021, what happened???

Been using it for around 5 years, absolutely awesome extension. Great for productivity as you do not have to go far to reach your apps, and it looks nice with good features. Feels really professional. I am happy that the extension has been added back to the web store as it is one of my favorite extensions and I can't do anything without it!

I wanted to like this extension. It lacks many popular sites that I had to add manually and I just learned that ccleaner will wipe out any custom images. I'm not going to add back the images each week, moving on to the next extension...

Please add an option where I can make the pages on my home screen smaller, they take up all the screen and the background is covered. I know I can remove them but just want them smaller. Otherwise it is freshhhh

Since this jerk updated his app, it is not working as good. he removed some features of it. forcing us to be his pawn. please if you have this extension from your pc. he is using it as a backdoor to your computer, hence google removed it a few months ago. he released it again with a new uuid. i will never trust this jerk again. so bad i loved the extension. i just can't trust the guy making the extension anymore. i wanted gmail notifications, this jerk removed them, forcing us to use garbage such as booking.com which is bundled as adware.

Nice extension with beautiful layouts and useful function

For an extension with so many options it's amazing how it can miss the most obvious ones... Like lacking the ability to manually rearrange and pin your tabs wherever you want them on the screen... Because what is the point of having an amazing background if your tabs are going to block most of it?_?

Really makes my homepage look better. Plus everything I need to keep informed and laid out neatly is there!! Just like my phone screen really!!

It is a nice plugin, except i wish I could customize the notes colour text because its hard to read in black on grey.

This is a great use of the New Tab page!!! I'm struggling to use the Quick Notes. It seems that when I enlarge the note by clicking on the "Pin It" icon in top center of the note, the note enlarges to about 1/3 left side of my screen, which is great, but it becomes translucent, and I can read the text anymore. Is there any way to make adjustments to the note background and text? The GMAIL AND GOOGLE CALENDAR integration is SO INTUITIVE. Still exploring. Keep up the great work on this awesome tool!!!!

A very useful app, with notes, quick links, weather, nice pictures... and it's fast and free. What more would you need? Thumbs up!!!

Love it so much... But it will be better if I can make folders. Another thing, I can not add a link to a local file! starting with: (file:///)!!!!!

I would like for it to update the number of Gmails showing on the desktop. It is stuck at 13 in my inbox and doesn't change even though I deleted the new emails it doesn't change.

While I like the overall functionality there are a couple of options I feel it needs to make available to users, first and foremost the ability to change the search engine it uses! This is an absolute must since it defaults to using Yahoo for some reason despite the fact that I hate the Yahoo search engine and as such have my Google Chrome search engine set to use Google (gee imagine that, a Google product using Google's search engine, novel concept huh?). Secondly I much prefer being able to vertically scroll through my bookmarks instead of horizontal scrolling (I'm on a desktop system without a touch screen, now if I were on a tablet or phone with a touch screen I *might* be ok with horizontal scrolling, but I'm not).

Just one word to describe Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssttttttttttttttt It's mean awesome. :{)

It's not bad. It's better than the default in Brave. I like that it will automatically pull the icons for new sites you make tiles for. I just wish it let me resize the tiles, because they're enormous and I don't like it.

the most important thing is that it's FREE. Besides, it's not a bad job, not at all, i like it!

App is great, but some people don't and can't understand the wonderfulness of this app. Not hating on you haters, but i'm just here to point it out. Yeah, just saying now, as a real response, it would be cool if you were able to RESIZE the apps. Also, a few more different search browsers (e.g. our current ones are Yahoo!, Bing, Duck, e.t.c). For say, you could add social medias like Snapchat, or Twitter, or even Facebook! But other than that, the extension is spectacular, and I really do give credit to the creator, you deserve 5 stars all the way ;)

Top-class app extension, but lacking the following: Yes, most one-person app developers are super busy; yet a timely reply to user questions or suggestions would be nice. The list of search settings should include an option to replace one with an user's preference e.g. StartPage. I'd rate this app extension 5 if those 2 issues are resolved. Thanks for an epic extension!

Great launcher/home page for chrome books. Especially useful to configure for older or less-tech savvy people. Once configured with frequent sites or apps, it makes a Chromebook approachable and non-threatening. My favorite Chrome Extension!

I really like the customization of this extension! However, when I set my own back round, it doesn't save it and it reverts back to a previous one when I reopen it.

I loved this extension and it has helped me in general I would suggest that when you type in a URL, you should make it go to google instead of yahoo because google is used by most people and yahoo is out dated and difficult to use in daily uses but beside that this app is very good and has helped me in a few ways
