Excellent extension. For some reason the video mutes after you pause it and hit play again which was my only issue. Otherwise it's good

This is simple and awesome . It does exactly what it supposed to do and does not interfere with any default instagram functions

As of February 5th, the extension no longer works. The only thing it's good for is seeing how long a video is when you click anywhere on the video, and it pauses, revealing the video's length. Hopefully, they'll fix it.

Just installed this beauty on my laptop. Seems to be working fine so far! Lets me go full screen but most importantly, lets me see how long the video is! Sometimes they were 15 seconds, sometimes several minutes. Now I can tell right away.

UI control for volume doesn't work, but the hotkeys still works (Ctrl + Up/Down). May need to edit Step Size in the extension options.

Please add ability to stop all looping on instangram, if possible. So annoying.

Hey I really enjoy it. It worked well until recently, where I can't use the controls anymore. Does an update need to be pushed or should I reinstall?

I've been using this extension since IG autoplays videos while scrolling in feed. The new update doesn't have controls now (Reinstalling doesn't help), please fix this.

This extension is very much a must have for Instagram on PC. Very much recommend it.

PLEASE UPDATE! Love the extension, just needs to be updated. Mouse over controls are gone/don't work.

The extension does not work as of 01 June 2022 in Chrome 102.0.5005.63 64-bit on Windows 10. Audio and video controls do not appear on mouse-over, no way to turn the audio down or stop/start video playback.

Just tested and no longer working. Can any one out there make a working version?

Almost works as expected on Edge. Just had to refresh the Instagram page to load it. Bummer is that now videos autoplay, which I don't want either, so off to find another plugin option. So dumb Instagram does not provide playback controls. This was so close.

It's good because it adds controls, but now videos are force played. If you pause the video and move the page or change tab the video starts playing again. It needs option to not play videos automatically

Anyone else having difficulties when click on fullscreen, the video doesnt play but scroll back all the way to the top post ? This is not the first time i'm encountering it, any way to fix it plz ? TQVM

Some idiot recommended this for disabling autoplay on PC - nevermind the fact it does no such thing. Worse, vids in feed don't even stay paused. They continue playing as soon as you scroll up or down. The extension doesn't even have any useful settings to tweak. In short: this extension SUCKS.

It makes conflict with Imagus extension. when I use Imagus, "Controls for Instagram Videos" hides all instagram's photo posts. could you fix this problem?

Works as expected, although it does break in DMs. Any video sent in direct messages will appear as an unclickable white box. Videos in dms are playable if the extension is disabled, but I hope you guys will fix this issue if this is still maintained

This extension is a godsend. Why instagram still doesn't have basic video controls in 2021 is beyond me, but at least we have this.

The download button stopped working but overall its pretty useful. Download button was very helpful though.

i've had an issue for a long time now, of instagram videos blasting my ears when i'm browsing on my computer... this literally saves me from instantly muting every instagram video, so that's amazing!

I've been also having this similar problem from what Ammar said in the reviews. From time to time, if I look in my group chats in my DM's, the messages will load for a couple seconds, then all the shared posts will just disappear, leaving only text messages and usernames that are in the group DM. This also happens when trying to view some IGTV videos. I don't have a way to reproduce this as it happens randomly. The extension itself as a volume control works fine, but this problem has been happening for a while now. I tried disabling other extensions and seems to be only affected from this extension. EDIT: Issue has been fixed. This is definitely best extension you can get for simple video controls.

Great no more bleeding ears

Lots of potential, but very buggy. I find it playing videos that aren't in focus, plus some other minor annoyances, such as not remembering the audio volume like it says it should.

Works as described. You have to rollover your mouse to the lower part of the video and adjust the Volume. You can also save the volume you want via the PLAY logo of the extension on Chrome - Options - Remember video Volume Level.

No volume slider as shown in the picture, only a mute button.

Currently (10/21/2018) does what it says on the tin.

This extension has potential but the volume slider doesn't appear when the cursor is over it. If the speaker is clicked, this just mutes the sound.
