Its paid only!
Just installing the extension breaks websites. Extension Active, VPN off. Websites stop opening. Customer service sends me a boilerplate questionnaire, without reading the original problem report. Luckily VPN is pretty much a commodity, so I'll use another provider.

disappointed - I've used HS for many years but lately I'm having real problems connecting to the UK. When i check the ip i'm all over Europe, Singapore and the US - NOT THE UK.
The UK server does not appear. Only 3 countries available. So poor

I have been using Hotspot Shield for better than 3 years now, it is easy to use, and works exactly how it is advertised! it sounds to me that the people who rate this product very low do not know how to use it and do not know how to contact Hotspot Shield for help! They have resolved any problem i have incurred and their response is immediate...Great Job Hotspot Shield!

It is BAD because it keeps disabling when I click on it on my Chromebook and it is very slow and it does not bypass all blocked content from school and work and home!!! Plus shouldn't this extension be better than the other one because it is premium because it is not better it is the same!!! They need to fix it so I can use it 100% on my Chromebook and upgraded it because it should be better because it is premium!!!

the free version app & ext does absolutely nothing. and they won't provide any support unless you're paying for it. why even bother with a free version if the only thing you get is an ad and a button to upgrade? freaking lame. can't even try it to see if i would have liked it or not. as is: hard nope!!!
Multiple locations with good speed, I haven't had a single problem since I installed it, worth the price.

chrome extension is the most reliable ive tried. great vpn for accessing sites you shouldnt be able to due to country restrictions.
Terrible product. I was charged for a lifetime subscription, when all I was buying was a monthly one to try it out. And it doesn't even do what I bought it to do. Anytime I use it, I get notifications that my browser doesn't accept cookies and none of my webpages will work or load. So extremely frustrating. Don't bother wasting your money or your time.
