It works, However, in the newer version of youtube, it doesnt show on the dislike button how many dislikes it has, only on the bar '-'

They announced that they are shutting down, check their discord server or GitHub for updates. The extension will keep on working for another month or so, or maybe even forever because they are now using Return Youtube Dislike's API for some time as they cannot continue their own API Update to latest version to still use Custom Ratio bar and other stuff!
it doesnt work. I use the Brave browser and the dislike count just says "DISLIKES".

It works perfectly! I definitely recommend this Extension to others who wanna see the amount of dislikes a video has on youtube! Now I can finally see if a video is worth watching or not.

"Return YouTube Dislike" isn't working anymore. Probably because YouTube patched it. So, I tried this extension and it works. For now...
No longer works. I just see plain DISLIKE on the dislike button. Please fix it
Doesn't work ("shut down" as they said), and they've also said in responses to bad reviews that they're making it into something new. Just download Return YouTube Dislike. This extension currently violates CWS rules, anyway.

YouTubes latest attempt to protect the mega corporations, political backers and all those very profitable scammers who make up most their ad revenue. Would like to see after Google blocks this just to have this have it's own dislike database that get's updated by users of the extension then displayed like it were Youtubes dislike count. No matter where it ends thank you for trying to make the internet more honest!
Gotta do some long thing with the APIs i'm not smart enough to do... but seems to work for others so I'll give it 4 stars

Can't wait for this to break with youtube's bullshittery, but in the mean time it works rather well
Works Flawlessly. [Note that you will have to make an API Key]. It will take a minute to set up but that's no problem. They give you clear directions on how to create the (API KEY). Just click on the extensions tab and then on the extension it self. A tab will come up and there will be a few options. One will lead you to a page with directions on how to create the (API KEY). Once you do that you enter the (API KEY) on the extension and it will work. Some individuals are saying it "doesn't work" most likely because they didn't notice that an (API KEY) was necessary.

Works flawlessly!! A lot of people didn't enter their API keys and gave this extension a 1-star review. This isn't magic people, you can't make something out of nothing.
It seems like it would have worked but I have no idea how to get an API key, even when reading the instructions it still seems confusing.
