Great extension please add this - Instant lockdown should have a autostart time option like to Block All sites at 9:30PM expect allowed only

This works like, 60% of the time, hence 3/5. I will put something on my block list. Close the window, and then be able to open a new window and open the same site. the amount of customization is great, but also, if at it's simplest I can't block a site and then walk away confident that it is blocked, then its all kind of not helpful.

Excellent tool. Helps me get things done without lingering around time-sucking websites.

This app is absolutely fantastic. It's helped with my addiction to certain sites and the ability to add a password which you can give to someone else, or force you to enter a ridiculously long random string of letters before you can change your restrictions is a fantastic addition. Can't recommend it enough if you're trying to break addiction. Just remember to enable it to run in incognito mode too.

I like the app and appreciate what it does but the quotes they've chosen to post are really obnoxious to me. I hate them. That's the only downside for me.

very simple and effective to prevent being sidetracked with wasting time on social media. Love that you can set limits and exceptions too; useful to set restrictions on YouTube but allow YouTube Kids for example.

One of the best Extensions. Really helped me a lot. I will donate too. However I would like to point out a small flaw that I hope the developers will fix. We can easily find the password that we have set, from internal files in our computer. Just open C:\Users\yourprofile\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default\Sync Extension Settings\enebomhlllfaccbelnjhfgblnalofhch\000003.log using notepad and scroll down to find your password. Alternatively, can also find password in multiple other files and folders in C:\Users\yourprofile\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default folder. Please do something about this.

I really like this app. I love being able to see the amount of time spent on various sites, and I also really like the Instant lockdown feature. Personally I think it's good that there's no way to turn it off because I sometimes think "Oh I'll just do this quick thing" when I'm supposed to be working, and I'm glad I can't. I docked a star because I'd really like to be able to see how long I've got left when using Instant Lockdown--there should be a countdown or timer or something I can check. And also because the time accrued on each site seems to also include any open tab rather than when I'm actively using the website. I tend to have a lot of tabs open, so I feel like this skews the data a bit. But I still really like it and recommend it.

I rely on this so much, maybe too much, to keep my procrastination habit at bay. Pretty simple once it's set up and a lot harder to 'get around' than screentime limits on my iphone, which I like.

I'm addicted to Twitter. I admit it. My working productivity has plummeted as I spend hours just doom scrolling. I decided to try and have a set time during the day where I can't social media at all. I now give myself five hours to work. I've been smashing my quotas and then some. I have so much extra time left over after working I end up cleaning up more, reading more, and just chilling and contemplating more story ideas. It's been fantastic ... I do still get that "gotta check it" niggle from time to time, but its moved to the back of the head instead of hammering me from front of my mind all the time.

Awesome! an app with a lot of freatures for limit yourself from what you want. I was using instagram many time during a day. Actually I didn't want to remove my instagram account, I just needed to use that just about 20 minutes a day. This app have the freature for limit yourselft at epecially time. I love it..

Does it's job

I really like this app and it has been very helpful in keeping me out of YouTube. I think it would be great if there was a mobile version for your phone (unless there is one already and I just don't know about it yet). There have been apps that are similar to this, but none of them automatically force you off of an app completely (you can turn on the timer/ time limit but you can just ignore it).

Very good. Suggestion: for instant lockdown please consider adding options beyond the 24 hour timeframe.

I was using a pay extension, but the subscription price kept going up :-( Also, I didn't need the bells and whistles. This extension is extension is basic but free. Totally worth kicking a $10 donation a couple of times a year!

It works like a charm. If youreally want to control yourself, nlock all your distracting websites and choose a challenge of "Enter randomly genereated string". Suggestion: Allow us to block the extension management page, as it can be disabled from there, which would be counter-productive.

It just works! Simple. Not very intuitive but easy to figure out all the settings.

gamechanger and non intrusive like similar apps (confirmed with chrome's default extensions bookmark that shows how much access activated apps have to your informationon webpages -- this needs and has NO access to any information on a webpage). Thank you so much for that! I have other Pomodoro style blocking extensions but I now prefer to use the "Instant Lockdown" feature in this app (with "Sites on Block List" blocked only) for it because it blocks sites so much more sensibly. I have to manually restart Pomodoro timers in the other extensions so this one is not that much different to use. Just a tip: I've noticed secured sites without "www." and only "https://" in the address have to be written only with https:// or exactly as it shows in the addres bar to be blocked in the app. Hope it gets updated soon...

Exceptional! This is very useful to get over the enticement that the sites seduce you with to keep reading / viewing. Has helped me keep focus on work many many times.

Couldn't get it to working, and would prefer per-site settings anyway. LeechBlock is much more reliable and flexible.

It is awesome i had my exams and i was distracted by discord and youtube i wasted many hr on them but now i dont waste a single hr on them as i can not open those sites it is really usefull app sorry for by bad English

I find this has been the most thorough time extension for keeping me from spending too much time on the web. Many of the productivity extensions will not allow you to include time spent on links from Reddit as part of the total, but this one does. Take your time back!!

Hi, just want to give some suggestion. 1. A customizable quota in different time range will be amazing like 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM and I can customize the time quota to ‘15 minutes only in work hour and 0 for outside work hour’. It will be helpful since the total time quota seems too strict. I’ve been using your extension for a long now, thank you very much for this free program.

This is the one extension I found which has so many features and is free. It is very useful. However the editing of the restrictions isn't quite intuitive and the website needs to be refurbished.

It's a very simple and straightforward app yet very very effective. I particularly like the lockdown feature which is perfect for those that really needs some control on their browsing. Loved it. Wanna stop procrastinating? This extension is for you.

Allows to configure severe time intervals which is ideal to allow you to be distracted during a break or lunch time. Highly recommend it since it's a simple setup and then you don't ever need to look back. Only thing I'd like to see implemented is an option to mark a day as day off or holiday. Right now on those days I just disable the extension.

I wish that the waste no time waring site would also disapear it is just as anoying as the site i tried to block. What is the use of this app if i have to close the warning site just as i did with the popup site. no use for this app. thanks

I previously rated WNT 5* (2015) then temporarily 1* (2017) when additional permissions were required without explaining first. Hopefully a minor blip today. After using for a long time, I wanted to edit the settings today but I can't because I need a password. I am going to guess that I set this at some point and have forgotten to put password in my password manager. Real problem is that I can't see anything in documentation about password/resetting.

Amazing application! UI could have been better.

I rarely write reviews but this is the best, most flexible and effective extension for productivity I've ever used. For example, I use youtube to listen to music while working but I don't want to start watching random videos that are recommended to me. This app allows for such personalized settings (by white-listing a few music radios channels) and is just so useful. I strongly recommend enabling the challenge so that you don't cheat by editing the settings.

Great at blocking distractions.

It's good in theory but just to easy to get around, either by uninstalling or just opening an incognito tab. I know its not the developers fault, they cant stop you uninstalling an extension. its a good deterrent that gets you to start working, but its up to you if you really want to stop working. One suggestion would be to make it remember which instant lockdown mode you had it on. often ill start an instant lockdown on the wrong mode and then have to uninstall and reinstall, delaying my work more as its blocked all of google, which i need for my work. Decent extension though!

None of my kids are wasting time now. Some websites are locked 4 hours a day. That 4 hours is used for studying and home work. No youtube, no facebook, no distraction.

Other time blockers were honestly much too simple to disable the settings, with its great customizability, it's a bit hard to go and disable it or continue adding time, plus, the quotes are great and they motivate me to not edit anything

Best app you can find on the internet rn. Just a small suggestion, try to reduce the response time(after i open the site, it takes few seconds to load). Because of this I can bypass the extension by quickly switching tabs, such that extension doesnot register that I opened that website

I don't usually write reviews, but this extension is life-changing. I've tried pretty much every extension out there like this, and this is by far the best. It has all the features I wanted and has changed the way I work. Would 100% recommend.

This is a great extension! I spend much less time on social media and other time-wasting sites now. I had my sister set a password, so now she is the only one who can change the settings. I am much more productive now, so thank you for such a great app! There is only one feature I wish could be added. Some days I need more time on specific websites, so it would be nice if there was an option similar to Screen Time for Apple that would allow me to override a limit for the day. That way I couldn't need to have my sister change the limit and then remember to have her change it back when I'm done. Other than this it is an amazing app! Thanks again!

I love this app. My best friend from school Jo told me about it!!! We have some problems with going on other websites in school. So she told me about this app and I liked it!! One thing. Can you make a way to cancel lock down mode?? Maybe like make a password, and then you can click something like, turn off/turn on lockdown mode, and when you click it will ask for a password.(Sorry for the typo(s)!!!!!!)

this is a very useful extension for the lacking of focus and easily distracted person like me, good job guys, for now i can only give u guys the developer this good review, keep it up the work! if u seek for an advice, my only advice is just to improve the design menu, logo, font or overall UI by make it simple, elegant and minimalism, but overall love u guys work!

The only thing I want is an option to lock different sites during different time periods since YouTube is basically a two-faced thing
