Just what I needed
No support for YAML, no documentation how to customize.
Love the themes and the formatting for json! Please add line wrap support and I'd rate 5 stars, some json strings I need to view are simply wayyyyyyyy to long for one line.
One of the best syntax highlighter out there. It also reformats the file, which is also a clever idea.
Not working
Would love to have an ability to pause it when not needed.
This is the best I find so far
please add auto-format minified code.
No line wrap :(
Hmm. Its pretty, but no line wrapping option. This makes it completely useless for minified/optimized resources.
Lots of themes to choose from - line numbers, all the goodies you would expect. Does what I need it to.
Awesome but doesn't work under the "view source" ? That would have been the ultimate developer live-support tool.
very useful to a web developer, thanks.
Spot on... don't forget to allow access to file URLs :-)
Just what I needed.
Great extension! It's working really well for C++ and I love the color themes it has. Much better than the other extensions I found. For the Visual Studio template, I would like to suggest trying to make class names have that light blue color like in VS2013 and VS2015.
Does exactly what it says. Sometimes I view svn repos on my web browser and it is nice to get highlighting without having to download a file and open it in an editor (especially if it isn't my main computer with a text editor/IDE). Works great
Why the line numbers are removed? (-2 * for that)
No line numbers. Broke disabling JS cache -- a CRITICAL bug for web development.
It keeps trying to highlight my local HTML files. Shouldn't you let the browser parse the HTML and display instead? Sight interferes with the styling of the background and text when viewing these files. They only show correctly when I disable the extension.
It does not work when using a generic handler with no extension. Using #ft=Javascript at the end of the address didn't work either. Then there are not line numbers.
I use it all the time, at home and office!
Very useful
Line numbers are essential! Why are they gone, especially when doing "view source"!?!
Great app! I only have 3 gripes: 1) would be great to have it prettify files that are minified 2) Would love to have line numbers 3) When scrolling to the horizontally, the background is not colored to the end of the text, just to the window size
No line numbers
Nice font selection, but there isn't an option to enable line numbers
I...LOVE...this app. It's so convenient. I do wish it had a prettify feature since most of the JS we view on these sites is minified. Also wouldn't hurt to see line numbers. That would normally warrant 4 stars but since the ratings don't reset on version changes, 5 is only logical.
Because of not showing the line numbers.
Missing line numbers make this almost useless for my needs.
Amazing! This is really great!
Why don't you allow to show line numbers?
The only thing I wish this would do is un-minify CSS and JavaScript.
Perfection.
Does not activate a lot of times. Must add way to manually activate plugin
This ext is great. I use to use Syntaxtic! and I definitely prefer this more. I hope more languages like ASP keep on getting added but its current list is very extensive.
Almost perfect but without option to customize font size
Without support for view-source, this tool misses the mark for me. It's other features are nice, though.
Awesome Extension !!!! keep the good work bro :D
It won't prettify a XML :( Other than that, wonderful extension!
great app if it works. it does not work for VHDL. Hope to get fixed.
Does what it says.
Works like charm (mostly). Bonus: deobfuscates compiled javascript
Can you add file extension for .cc. Thank you.
Maybe you can add an option to make it possible for the users to choose which kind of file to be highlighted. I'm using another extension - json viewer, but Sight's highlighting is not compatible with json viewer. I really wish I can turn off the syntax highlighting of Sight for json.
Love this simple plugin for viewing js and other files
A font size option would be great!
Works well. I love the dark plan, it looks very nice and works very well.
Perfect extension. Does one thing and does it well. Invaluable when playing with API data. Thanks a lot!
This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!
The features worked as expected, without the initial flashing that happens with some other syntax highlighting extensions. You can't change the font size though, and there isn't much you can customize. It would be great to be able to configure the themes yourself with an editor, but that may be expecting too much. None of the default themes are familiar to me, which was disappointing. I thought Notepad++ styled highlighting would be pretty popular.
Great list of supported languages, works very well overall. Recommended.
Would've been a very useful extension but doesn't work with Adblock Plus enabled. Any workaround on this? Will change my rating if that issue is fixed.
Great extension. All it needs now is code folding.
Thanks for this piece of great work! It looks like there's a conflict between this plugin and AdBlock2.5.32. It didn't work in the beginning and I tried to disable all the plugins one at a time and it turned out that it was AdBlock2.5.32. I hope this is useful for future improvement of this plugins.
If you're having problems on MacOSX try toggling extensions on and off until it works. My problem was the Google Translate Extensions
Great add-on, when it detects code. It would be great to be able to manually activate the pluggin!
absolutely amazing.code without syntax highlighting is harder to read than it should be
Muy bueno, aunque a veces no funciona con javascript
Wonderful tool. Would love to see it incorporate support of tm bundles.
I end up making use of Sight pretty much everyday. Makes places like github or code I have stored on dropbox much easier to peruse. I've even used it to show code examples during presentations. Very helpful there!
Conflicts with other extensions, for example: "Turn off the lights" and "Orbvious Interest". Sorry, but those are more important to me.
I ended up choosing this over Syntaxtic! as it handled css files better. I like how Sight will format minified css where as Syntaxtic! left it all on a single line. I struggled to get it working. I had to disable all other extension before it would work. After it was working, I could re-enable all other extensions.
Mostly works well, but sometimes shows unformatted pages, despite being set to the correct language. Is there any way to determine why?
