Great for monitoring web pages - I've been monitoring a few Covid Vaccine sign up web pages by hand. After a while, I decided I needed to write software to be alerted when there was an update showing available vaccine. In comes this extension and I no longer need to roll-my-own software! Thanks VisualPing - you've helped me get appointments for a bunch of seniors who are otherwise computer illiterate and would still be waiting in line!

IMPORTANT! This extension is free only for TWO websites, for more that that you have to PAY. I hate it when companies always try to hide how much you can use it until you have to pay them money. Why not be honest and tell it before we spend time to install and configure it? Also, they failed to mention in description that it monitors only when browser is on. Otherwise, seems ok as long it works, just set it up, no alarms yet.

I like it and use it. It is fantastic when it is working. To be absolutely fair, I am using it with opera and perhaps that is what causes the very small issue with having to reinstall over time to make it function right. PLEASE put out a version for Opera. It can't be hard. I would support that because it helps me make money. Anyway, what happens is it works fine when it is fresh installed and captures every change. Job opportunities appear on particular web page that is even secured (!) and if I leave it open VisualPing lets me know about any text changes on the page. If you work with the options for what you need to know, I think it is awesome. One suggestion beside making a version for Opera users... Let me keep a history. Maybe I want 5 previous versions or whatever... Let me have a preference for that and use the default behavior as is. Honestly? This has made me money AS IS and I am grateful. Where do I donate?

I use this site to monitor job listings for companies I want to work with. I always get in immediately thanks to the Visual Ping notifications. I also got first pick at Daily Show and Colbert Report tix years back thanks to Visual Ping!
This is a great extension. I just wish there was a version for mobile Chrome!

Doesn't work. Falsely alerts to page changes only for you to find out the selection area you set turned out to be completely different. Also only checks every hour.

vERY GOOD
Like other reviewers, I needed to book an appointment where it seems like there are never any openings. I had it running for about 34 hours and sure enough, I heard the notification and was able to book an appointment for the very next morning. Beyond being happy about this, the extension seems to work really well and as a developer, I can see many use-cases for this. Thanks!

Seems to do exactly nothing. Tested against a local page, with a div updated via javascript ("allow access to file urls" enabled in chrome extension settings)
