stopped working all of a sudden.

Is this still functioning? mine stopped working a few days ago. It isn't the first time this extension stopped working, but it usually starts working again after a day or so. its excellent when it works.

No contact information found so this is how I'll report a problem. App no longer works, no audio is generated when I tell it to pronounce something on any website. I other audio sources work within Chrome. I have removed and readded the extension. Chrome 95.0.4638.69 (Official Build) (64-bit). Windows 10 fully updated as of Nov 15th.

This extension has the best voice I've heard on any of these type of extensions. I can't figure out any way to change the voice but it's a good sounding female voice so good enough. Update: after using the extension for a few minutes I noticed one fatal flaw that made me change my review from five stars to 1 it can't even completely read a few paragraphs it just stops randomly every time so it is useless completely useless because of that. Update: It seems this problem only occurs when you use the right click to select this extension if you use the button itself in your extension list at the top of the browser it seems to work perfectly fine, someone should fix this bug and then I could rate it five stars. Update: highlighted 6 paragraphs and clicked the icon nothing happened, so I did 3 paragraphs and it worked fine so apparently it can't read more than three to four paragraphs at a time, that's pretty lame so I'm deducting another star.

I love this extension, but from last week this extension isn't working no more. NO voice when I click to read.

It is an excellent tool especially for non-native speakers and readers. It will be much better if it can read full page highlighted text contrary to at present set limit of 2 sentences. I don't know the developer plans but if it is made open source, the opensource community can definitely contribute to make it a superstar!

Voice is good but pointless if it keeps stopping mid-sentence.

There is no information about data privacy at all. Not even on their website http://getpronounce.com Dodgy.

Works nicely - I wish I could speed it up. I prefer to hear it much faster to help jam through school.

I like this extension, it is thee perfect extension for folks who can't focus on reading that needs to be read out loud, But I do have a request to make, I think this extension would be even better if the extension highlights each words as the voice is reading it, so the user can follow along not just listen. :) overall it's all great!

I rated this extension a 3 mainly for this reason. It was working great until one day it simply stopped working. I used to be able to use my mouse cursor to highlight a word and then right click the selection and click "Pronounce" and it would read the selection highlighted. However, like I said, one day it just stopped working. I've updated the extension as well as Google Chrome and removed the extension and re-downloaded it. I've restarted and nothing seems to work. If someone could help me resolve this issue I would gladly redownload it and give a 5 star review. Thanks.

Not sure what am I missing. It says it is reading the text when I select a text and click on 'Read' but I am not able to hear anything. Do we need any other configuration ( speaker permissions etc.) ?

Voice is good but why can't you make it persist on a page even when I click somewhere else? Other apps are able to persistently continue reading even if I click somewhere else on the page.

Best "Read Aloud" extension I could find. It's so simple and the voice is realistic/easy to understand. I even added a keyboard shortcut to start it more easily.

This extension is amazing and is so helpful!! I mostly use it for reading my essays out to me to help me memorize them and so far it has worked really well. I would have given this extension 5 stars but sometimes when reading the middle of a paragraph it will skip to another part of the document and start reading that instead. This is an easy fix but for anybody who doesn't want any flaws in the app at all, I just thought you should know. Overall this extension is amazing. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is Dyslexic or just needs a little help memorizing something!! :)

that's absolutely a great tool but it can't easily start pronouncing large text.

There really are no options, aside from keyboard shortcuts. I must have a male voice. Plus, it would also help if we could adjust the speed of the voice.

Very useful but would appreciate the option to listen to a male and female voice in a British English accent.

Not multi-lingual

Every time I would highlight the text from a document in Google docs, the text would turn grey when I clicked on the icon. If I tried re-highlighting the text, the menu from the icon would disappear. To summarize, it isn't working for Google docs, unless you've had this issue before and there's a way I can fix it to correspond correctly.

I love your extension but its missing some key features. I would like to assign a hotkey because constantly pressing the icon is time and energy consuming. I would like to also not have to highlight text for reading, instead I would like to use the mouse pointer to select the paragraph that I want to be read to me

Recording works just fine. But reading doesn't work at all. Can someone tell what to do to get reading working? When I highlight sentence and invoke 'read', nothing happens.

Would have given it a 5+ if the recorded sound file was saved to GDrive.

I seem only able to get a female voice. I'd prefer to be able to switch to a male voice.

Excellent tool! Absolutely required for chrome. I need a keystroke for it though. It's a bummer to have click through menu's to get it to read something outloud.
