Reload is a tab manager extension for chrome. it's a free extension , it has 1,000+ active users since released its first version, it earns an average rating of 4.37 from 19 rated user, last update is 1189 days ago.
A simple Reload button, for those who want one to the right of the Address Bar. (Stop function not included; see below.) To save RAM, the extension uses an event page rather than a persistent background page. Hopefully it won't lag during heavy disk access. For a Stop button, see: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stop/kkeehnmfddjhlojogndpeaklfhaokkbn *** Changelog 0.4: Updated icons to match Chrome's new Material theme. 0.3: Removed "tabs" permission. Turns out it isn't needed to call chrome.tabs.reload.
You could download the latest version crx file or older version files and install it.

Reload is a good extension overall (and also its companion Stop), does what it's supposed to. HOWEVER the button is almost IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE when the browser uses a dark or black theme. PLEASE add a white variant so this extension becomes usable. This issue had already been reported in 2020 for its sister extension Stop: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stop/kkeehnmfddjhlojogndpeaklfhaokkbn/support . Meanwhile, here's an alternative: "My Reload Button", with a very visible, however even uglier, orange “>” as its button icon: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/my-reload-button/enljbahijigkmdlagadnkokcjgnkainm So far, I couldn't find any other simple reload/refresh extensions for Chrome/Chromium-based browsers.
I think the reload icon should be bit bigger, maybe 20% bigger to look like chrome default reload button.
Wonderful
