Honestly, It could be better. What I thought it would do is read the name of the youtube video, see that it is a song, and track the BPM, but no. Instead, it looks for keywords in the video title, so instead of tracking the BPM of the video you are watching, it's tracking some random song based off of the keywords in the video title.
I like it because it helps me when trying to make my music. It helps a lot.
I just tried the extension and it works perfectly. I actually don't mind the payment as some of the other reviewers are complaining. Support a developer when you can, if you can. They poured time and effort into making this and the fact that it can recognize a song is a pretty cool added feature.
why do i have to pay to and sign up\in to use that is not at all good yo????
I used this add on to prove a point to a friend. I said the BPM of this drummer's solo is approximately 140 to 160bpm. My friend said approximately 120-130BPM. This addon would not work on the video of a Drummer's solo. Just a waste of time downloading a metronome addon. This addon is taking information from an external source rather than accurately measuring a live video. I put the song through a BPM editor on my DJ software I use for mixing and I got an accurate result versus this addon which cannot actually use live feedback. DJs and Musicians beware, this is not a real metronome addon
Can't work. It shows message "Sorry, something didn't work. Try again after reloading the page." I've been tried to reloading for a while, still didn't work. So far, I like the idea though.
I tested it with many songs, but one in particular https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7WP6m3tmt0 says "We couldn't find a tempo". Then, apparently if you click the plugin more than once it makes the volume louder and distorts the audio A LOT. Spent 30 mins trying to figure out what's wrong with my headset...

Stopped working randomly and would increase the volume every time the icon was clicked, worked for a bit though. 5 stars for helping me out on a school project?
am i supposed to give it permissions for youtube or something? every time i click on the extention it just keeps loading no matter what video im playing. I really like this idea though, please help !!
Not working, says "Try again after reloading the page.: Failed to fetch" 5 stars just because I don't want to be mean :(((
