I've been using this addon for several years and never had an issue. Theme customization is an absolute eye-savior during night time. Looks like pretty much the only people who are likely to write a review, are the ones who experience some problems with the extension. Happy users just don't bother writing reviews.

Breaks frequently

Needs png support,option to remove the text labels and option to vertically centre all dials (horizontal option would be nice too for rows which aren't full); other than that, it's nice, fast, and does what it's told; working nicely in Opera GX

i love this extension, but after the latest update clicking on the icon in the Chrome task bar it opens settings and not a new Fast Dial tab. Can that be changed? I find it very annoying

This is the only new-tab extension that is any good. It's simple and uses a bookmark folder which allows me to sync between browsers. The only flaw is that if I have a very wide display that is split into 3 sections, the screen previews and sites are not in the typical 16:9 or 16:10 ratio, but in an ultra wide format. It would be a great improvement if it was possible to set the site buttons to a specific size regardless of display resolution.

icons disappear every day.

Very useful, especially after Googles latest update , reducing the site previews to simple icons, which is not always meaningful. Missing: size of preview icons adjustable?

This is the one addon I require regardless what browser I am using. ALL Browsers should have it employed!

I USED TO HAVE FIREFOX AND NOW THAT FIREFOX UPGRADED TO A SUPPOSED TO BE BETTER VERSION, IT DISABLED MY FAST DIAL. NOW I DECIDED TO USE GOOGLE CHROME THEN FAST DIAL WON'T LET ME SAVE THUMBNAILS. IT WON'T LET ME SAVE A BACKGROUND IMAGE, I CANNOT CUSTOMIZE IT THE WAY I WANTED TO.

Adding a thumbnail is not possible, the Save button doesn't do anything..

I'm user of FastDial extension since it came in FireFox. Very long time. I was super happy to see FsstDial "clone" for chrome as well - same minimalistic extension with data in bookmarks. But I absolutely hated my experience with app in chrome. - It requires to manually enter title for tile. - It doesn't refresh page thumbnail, and.or doesn't provide option to reset autogenerated ugly messy thumbnail and regenrate it from scratch.

I've been using Fast Dial with FF for many years and have been very satisfied with it. Recently started using Vivaldi browser and was happy to find FD in the Add-ons because Vivaldi's built-in Speed Dial is too limited to be useful.

This ("Fast Dial") is a great add-on in Firefox - this version, however, is apparently not by the same developer. Rating it one star for trying to rip off someone else's idea and reputation. The fact that it's only minimally functional (you can't set thumbnails, for example, or set it as your chrome start page) makes me want a "zero stars" rating here.

I was using Firefox and everything worked perfectly over there. One thing that I see doesn't work for me on Chrome Extension is the thumbnails. Which is a crucial part for me to organize my folders/sites. They just simply don't work. I add a picture, it shows up and when I try to click 'save' it doesn't do anything.

Currently broken, not worth your time.

Was good overall, but now has some noticeable issues. The thumbnails can't be transparent png files (as in they show with white background), the thumbnails being customizable is now broken, for some reason the page will appear full screen but allow scrolling? That last one isn't a big problem, but in Firefox scrolling allows for multiple pages of fastdial. Those first 2 issues updated will bump up stars immediately. Also bonus: would be nice as someone else mentioned to figure out syncing background and thumbnail images. The folders/pages being synced with your bookmarks is great.

the best new tab page for me

elegantly structured, the idea of using the browser bookmarks for its data makes it a lot more flexible than most, easy to back up and portable.

Really liked it until the new update on 2/27...all of my dials went away.

Nicely done, and it's the one I use now. The dials are kept in bookmarks, and so sync easily. The screenshots for the dials aren't usually very aesthetic, so normally you would download a logo image and import it. The problem is that these images (and background image) are not synchronised. Neither are the layout settings. Get everything syncing, and this is a five-star app.

The best speed dial available for Chrome.

I liked this in Firefox, and now I'm glad it is available for Chrome. I've tried the other flashy speed dial extensions but this ones simplicity wins hands down. It does require some input occasionally if the preview window doesn't show immediately, but other than that I'm glad to be back with an old friend. And it synchronises (or at least it has so far).

This new app is off the hook. Compared to similar apps this becomes the Zen Master of all apps. With its new drop down start menu,context menu editor to add new links makes this app the fastest and most efficient app of its kind. This is a must have for all users. I just love it!

It creates a bookmarks toolbar folder with the bookmarks used on its page - this may be useful for synchronizing them using google chrome built-in synchronization feature. But it is really slow, the bookmarks appear on the new tab page only after approximately 4 or 5 secs, unforgivable on a modern PC.
