Aggregate RSS. RIP Opera! I just like that I can type "RIP Opera", and it always brings up this extension for me. It's what I'm looking for, of course. I dunno if that's even mentioned as part of the extension description anymore. I loved the old Opera. Nice job of making it seem like home. I don't even read much RSS, but it's nice to not have to fumble with the "new" ways of doing it. Thank you. Oh. RSS Aggregator. I was thinking it's redundant. lol. I guess not! syndication: noun 1. [providing] articles, photographs, etc. to other organizations so that they can be published or shown in several places, or an instance of this aggregate noun 1. a whole formed by combining several separate elements

For the most part I like this RSS feed extension, however, occasionally, I find that a couple feeds will stop updating despite the fact there are new podcast are on the page. I have deleted it, reinstalled it, but get the same results. Once in a while when I reinstall it it shows zero podcasts. I have all of mine set to update every 5 mins.

I love this app for managing my podcast subscriptions. Handles around 300 feeds just fine and loads all the episodes (a feature I really appreciate). Highly recommended!

I tried it for a bit, but this extension is persistently trying to be the only RSS extension in your browser. Every time I reopen my browser it tries to disable the other RSS readers and there's not even a setting to stop this behavior. For most of my feeds I still wanted to use RSS Feed Reader since I like the way feeds are show directly in the popup. But since they pay-walled faster refresh rates, I've been looking for a replacement with a similar pop-up for feed or a secondary reader to keep up with the feeds I wanted to monitor constantly. This doesn't fit into either category.

Dark mode is awful. Lower refresh is 5 min. There is no way to open the new feed/article in a new tab automatically like in other extensions.

Would be awesome if you guys add feature to favorote/bookmark articles. Ones bookmarked should not be deleted.

Decend addon, but could give the user a bit more control in places. The layout and design is pretty good overall. However, there are trackers in place and the source code is not available. Whenever the user adds an RSS feed, this plugin "calls home" and reports things to a strange russian tracking website (could just be analytics, could be actual snooping). I don't like this at all.

Good workhorse for my 200+ feeds. Only complaint is that every once in a while the tab disappears, and then when I click on the app icon, nothing happens. I have to restart Chrome in order for the feed tab to show up again.

Using this in vivaldi as web panel but some buttons don't seem to do anything. Refreshing etc...

It can not update feeds in less than 5 minutes.

Good app, and makes for an excellent alternative for cloud services like Feedly - but it needs something like a keyboard shortcut, or a way to quickly mark all items on a feed as read. EDIT: I've encountered situations where this app breaks some RSS feeds - with the feed for retronauts.com being a significant example.

It's just a little TOO basic. If I could set it to mark a article as read after clicking on the link that opens it then it would be much more useful. This is the only reader I've ever used that doesn't have that option.

It works! and It does it well. The setup was quite easy, I like the folder function to separate feeds into relevant sections. I was going to suggest a sort function, but the ability to drag the feeds into order is helpful.

The "Dark Theme" is really bad unfortunately as the colors are just inverted and the text is unreadable but the extension itself works as expected.

Occasionally when reading the RSS feed, my computer almost locks up and uses a huge amount of RAM. Often I need to kill the computer power by holding in the power button and reboot to regain control. It does not happen consistently on only one feed. If not for this frustrating problem, I am very pleased with the extension.

Seems good, but one can't mark threads as read in one of the layouts, so now I have too many unread notifications.

Was an amazing and nearly flawlessly functional extension for several years of use, however now requires you to disclose your email address to use. Download at your own risk, it's possible that your email will be harvested for advertisement networks.

If I try to add more than 2 feeds, the browser crashes.

Dopest RSS reader extension that is not reliant on cloud or subscription.

Great! Highly Recommended! thank you! the only thing i wish it had was the ability to select multiple feeds and mark as read. Currently, i have to select each feed, select all items and mark as read...its tedious when i have lots of feeds and don't want to mark all feeds as read

This is the thing i always wanted in chrome and finally its here. The best feed reader, very clean and intuitive interface. I have just one request i would be very happy if you could fulfill this : Please add "1 minute" update interval of feeds. thanks in advance

Very nice -- the really only acceptable RSS reader for Chrome. Would be nice if it would allow passwords to be set for authenticated RSS feeds.

What a GREAT RSS feed reader!

Since google messed up the subscriptions feed in youtube, by displaying whatever they decide, instead of all the videos from the channels I'm subscribed, I decided to use this RSS reader to get all the videos from my subscribed channels. I've got 200+ subscriptions and browsing on each channel to see if they have something new, gets really tiresome. This RSS reader is great for showing me the latest videos from my subscriptions. One suggestion though, is to get a thumbnail of the video would be a great addition!

It does work as it was in Opera, everything must be looking fine except the only one HUGE problem: fonts in Ubuntu Chromium are ridiculously small, thus it's impractical to use.

I Love It of curse i use External RSS Reader (RSSOwl, use it , RSSOwl is best of the best) but it is a Useful & Lovely extension

No matter what some of the trolling haters may or may not say about this extension, it is hands down the best feed reader of its kind available today. I have been searching for the "perfect" reader for quite some time. I have tried dozens of different readers, but though many seemed promising at first, they all had downsides. The only reader I will continue to use besides this one is Feedly, but it is a different kind of reader and not practical for some of my inquiries. This reader is simple, quick with a great overview, and it allows users to include the aggregation of their email, etc. I love it!

my opera feeds recently stopped working, so this is working similar. I love it!

Great UI! Why not just click in on any item marking it as read ? Please make this update and it would be less clicky as otherwise now we have to click each feed and mark it as read.

Excellent app. Does what I need well. Only in addition an option to change background and text colour would be great.

Some times can't open it.

I have more than 5000 RSS news in my list. I wish there was a way to delete them all at the same time. Because deleting them one by one can take forever.

Very nice UI RSS feed reader. Of comparable quality and ease of use like the built in RSS feed reader in Mozilla Firefox!

plain and simple to use. it would get really fancy, if I could save and archive sepefic news and articles straight to a webdav folder or cloud storage eg drive.

Awesome..though there is one problem that i face is i can not set Refresh time all together..I have to select individually. The best one for YANDEX browser

Slow and crashes Chrome often. I've got 50+ feeds and it will crash at least 3 times while RSS Aggregator is open. Otherwise, like the functionality, just fix crashing.

This is EXACTLY what I need. It's a no-nonsense but full-featured RSS reader just like what I used on Opera until that computer died (now I'm on a Chromebook). THANK YOU!

This extension is what I missed from Opera after it went downhill, there is still area for improvement though.

I love everything about it, but I have two computers with Chrome on both. This app would be perfect if my feeds would sync on both my computers automatically and not have to export/import. Other than that, I love this.

I'm missing the button "mark all as read" as shift+arrow key does not work to mark read feeds.Otherwise very good RSS notifier.

The RSS Aggregator is great and works well. I wish for the possibility of able work with my Google drive and sync between devices.

Very nice overall. But my main need is the ability to mark articles KEEP, for saving. In Opera I did this by creating a Keep label and excluding it from restricted view. Then I did my purging in restricted view, which protected the kept articles. Labels and the ability to keep articles would be a big step forward. Thanks!

Opera was loved by many.. but it was destroyed. Thanks for recreating an important part of it and bringing the same kind of rss feeds functionality to chrome. Thanks. IMP: Please add functionality: right click on feed and "Mark all as read" as in opera and add keyboard shortcut.That way you can read important feed items after looking at the title of feed item and then mark all others as read. At present you have to manually click on read for each feed item. Update: okay found a workaround for the above requested feature.. select all items in feed by CTRL + A and then click on Read button.

Works perfectly, provides good page integration, and requires no service signup. Some of the key commands are quirky (the about page seems to an honorific to opera, perhaps that is their source). Also, the feeds don't sync between the same chrome account across different machines yet (feature request pending). When that is included, this become a 5-star app.

Great extension! Make it easier method of selecting and changing the status of an article as read, with a keyboard shortcut (with Space or similar)

I really loved it. So far great and very stable.
