Adding torrents doesn't work even with download locally option - maybe because URL is unconventional.
http://localhost:9091/transmission/rpc -- states no response
useless
Thanks so much for this extension; I just love it when I think "boy I wish there were an extension that would ..." and then it turns out that there IS, and it works perfectly!
Having to right-click magnet links and select "send to Transmission" is a dealbreaker when other extensions let me just click the link.
the best \
doesn't work with proxy
best
Worked first time.
Works great!
no response error on chromebook. tried 127.0.0.1, actual IP address, no response
Doesn't go to Transmission on my PC.
from the start..cannot be accessed. What a joke
does not work
Wants to connect to localhost
"Unable to contact Transmission server"
No webUI
This is the transmission extension you want.
WARNING! This extension causes popups and hijacks Google search.
Almost perfect! It would be even better if I could add multiple Transmission servers, though.
Very simple client but does the job. Works great with my Raspberry Pi Transmission box and makes adding torrents a breeze.
Would be good if, when deleting torrents, it has the option to either remove the torrent, or remove + delete downloaded data.
Connected to my FreeNAS box, can easily add my favorite downloads to the NAS box instead of locally. Awesome!
Does not work! Just says "Error: undefined" next to RPC address. Nothing works. Have tried to reinstall etc. Still not working at all
Clicking on a magnet:// url will not automatically send the torrent to Transmission. I have to right-click and select ".torrent To Transmission" from the context menu. Otherwise, it's a perfect extension!
I loved transmission on my mac, but this app won't work on my chromebook. It says no response every time i attempt to add a file or magnet link. if this could be resolved i would be a huge fan...
Great For adding magnet links to remote transmission server on NAS
Works when using public sites, but does not send to remote client from a private site.
Works well with the latest Transmission RPC interface. Gives status notifications for torrent state changes too.
Just what I needed. Many thanks.
I would really like this to work, but it does not like my IP. I get reoccurring messages saying could not connect. Any help out there?
Works ok. It would be nice if it actually caught magnet:// urls, instead of letting chrome pop up the "external protocol request" dialog box.
This app sucks how dare you give me exactly what i need and also make it work flawlessly. i wouldn't recommend this to anyone except my closest friends and family. thanks for everything i will be uninstall this app never. you should be ashamed of how much i like this app
right-click / send to Transmission. what could be easier.
This extension is exactly what I needed! I run Transmission on a Raspberry PI (which saves downloads to a NAS unit), and this extension provides a great, easy to use and reliable interface for managing my torrents. Also, it seems to be one of the few Transmission extensions that are actively maintained.
after trying every method on planet to integrate transmission to Google chrome in lubuntu I finally found this gem of an extension! and I'm with Danlele about the 'left click' option :)
now i can uninstall torch browser and stick in to chrome for downloading torrent files
Honestly I'm doing everything possible to make this work on my chromebook, doesn't seem to accept my IP address, sucks so far
Does not appear to work with my Chromebook.
Great extension, actually works as opposed to the other one which just complains about invalid torrent when it isn't invalid.
Superb, thanks!
This is the only one that is still fully working, including magnet links.
thanks
Excellent. I would love the option to download directly into specific folders other than the default though!
Very nice! it would be optimal if it had an option to send left click of torrent links directly to transmission (instead of right click > .torrent to Transmission)
The best i tried
Does the job perfectly.
Great integration with Chrome notifications, quick, simple, just whats's needed!
Works perfectly for my remote server running Transmission. Thanks! :)
