Simply, I can't live without it :)

years on the market and still the best game in town. Requires resetting the token every few weeks through the diagnostics process. That's the only issue. That, and the app is dead ugly. I wish it used the material you theme

I hate that Join has started asking me to login every time i turn off/on my computer. Have to set it up as if it's my first time using it every time. Why doesn't other extensions log out every time chrome is killed?

Device name is "undefined" on Edge. Doesn't appear in the list of devices after logging in.

Very handy for syncing clipboard, notifications, and acting as a bridge between sending links between firefox on android to chrome Only downside to this extension is local file transfers are capped at roughly 2gb before a crash occurs or the file is sent through google drive.

This is especially good if you have tasker. If you don't it's still very usable but tasker is worth the money just for use with this alone. THE ONE PROBLEM IS: I use it on a chromebook & the name changes on it's own frequently, so when I try to send something from my phone I have to open the settings on this to find the name. It would be a 5⭐ extension if not for this.

Why does it want my PHYSICAL LOCATION and READ MY BROWSING HISTORY??

i have a tiny problem i do not know how to register my browser (Brave) it does not show any buttons to register

This a MUST have extension! I don't know how I ever used my desktop without it!

I paid for, and have used this app for a few years. It worked fine until recently. Now when I receive an sms pop up I can't see the bottom of the text where I would type my reply. I'm not the only one, per the support page. It's been several weeks now and they've done nothing to fix it. I rarely pay for apps, so when I do and they don't work correctly and don't bother fixing it, it really makes me mad. FIX THE PROBLEM!

Great extension for sharing information between devices and triggering automated tasks. Keep up the great work!

crashes chrome until you can figure out how to disable the extension. took me over 30 minutes just to disable the extension due to constant browser crashes.

It's a must-have extension IMO, even if you don't use tasker. It's easy to set up with basic functionality, with the rabbit-hole of possibilities going very deep for what it can accomplish. It's taken years for other apps like the Windows phone companion to come around, and they're still not even close to providing what Join can.

Not getting alerts of new text messages. It used to work. What's the issue? Anyone else facing this?

Doesn't work with Brave so I had to minus a star. I can't leave Pushbullet without Brave/Chromium support.

Doesn't work on Brave so I had to ding it a point. Brave is a Chromium browser and it allows the extension to be install so it really should work.

It works... most of the time. I guess this is the best alternative to Airdrop/Handoff for non-Apple devices. It does have a lot of features. User experience could be better. I wish there was an option to change or at least disable the notification sound.

Successfully connected phones and PC's as messages are sent and we get push notifications, however, on the 2 Android devices we cant see where to find and reply to messages other than when the push notification arrives and we choose "reply directly". After we reply we can no longer find the messages.

I've been using this extension for a year and now it keeps sending me this error message and doesn't let me login. I did everything it asked to clear the cache and cookies. This is the error message: "Unable to sign in to your Google Account: Delete cookies". Thank you.

I'm reviewing this as of the most recent update and wow, I can safely say this app is a better alternative to Push Bullet. Thank you to the developer for creating and working on this app. I know I appreciate the convenience and I'm sure others will too.

Works great for everything. If you set up encryption the same as your phone, then the SMS works. Overall, it works a little better in every category than Pushbullet.

Everything works perfect. Just a suggestion, on click on a gmail notification is better if the extension search for an open gmail tab instead of always open a new one.

Very useful when you're working on yur desktop. It helps you save a lot of time.

Great extension/android app ! still got some syncing problem, but mostly forgivable. simple push of file transfer from desktop to phone, easy notification management (including all notification from facebook and whatsapp!). All and all is a great app. thanks for the developer! great job... I don't know how, but would be amazing if we can receive/make the phone call straight out of the desktop without the need to hold the phone!

Does everything I wanted that should have come out of the box with Microsoft and Samsung. I love being able to manage everything in my phone from my PC. The windows store version isn't as good as the chrome extension. Better off using this one.

Great extension but isn't syncing properly. Refresh icon is constantly animating and messages I've sent/received on my phone while Chrome has been closed don't show up in the extension.

A little barebones but still great for what it does. Four stars because there's a bug when used in Vivaldi browser where from time to time a blank tab is opened with join's url (https://joinjoaomgcd.appspot.com/authorize.html#...) and not closed.

Worked great, during the trial period. Stopped working and syncing shortly after I paid for it. Removing after reading thru hours of support page guidance. Back to buggy, but stable, MightyText! *Sigh*

Did what it said it would but the issues that come with it were not worth the monthly savings. By far the biggest issue I had with it was my side of text message conversation did not appear on my phone, only on the plugin. That makes it nearly impossible to remember where you were in a conversation or if you had replied to an older text that still showed as unread on your phone, but you had actually read and responded via the chrome extension. When you are using this for business purposes, that is simply not acceptable.

Absolutely Awesome Extension

It's great as a replacement for Pushbullet, with unlimited SMS from your devices, the ability to push links between devices, and send files back and forth. So far it has worked like a dream through Chrome on Linux, but has been a bit dodgy with Chrome on Mac and through the Android app. The Mac extension in particular has had some serious problems receiving pushes from my phone. Though I followed the FAQ, it provided only temporary solutions and I can't reinstall Chrome every 15 or 20 minutes when that is the only consistent solution. It seems to have some problems connecting with GCM, as the diagnostics indicate (and the FAQ automatically assumes it's a user-end issue rather than on the dev's). When it works, it's pretty astounding how seamless everything is. It lacks polish, however, and so I can only give 4 stars.

When it works it's great but more times than not sync just spins and spins. SMS doesn't sync and requires me to reinstall the extension. Looking for alternatives.

By far the most reasonably priced SMS-to-Desktop integration app for Android. It's not quite Apple Messages-level integration (yet?), but after trying 6 different apps, a few weeks at a time, Join is the clear leader by miles. Caveats: - Relies on an operational Android phone able to send and receive SMS/MMS messages - Sometimes messages won't sync between devices for as much as 10 minutes. - In the past, messages have become lost to syncing operations. - Not reliable enough for relaying all work-related, mission-critical conversations, but it's been fine for sending messages from my laptop with a keyboard.

The sms features are inconsistent. At times they work as expected. Other times they get stuck sending forever. Sometimes they go through, other times they don't. This product needs to be polished.

Ditched pushbullet because of the SMS limit. Join can do everything I was doing with pushbullet, and the fee was one-time. Very happy

This is the app/extension I have been seeking for as long as I can remember. Tried MightyText and Pulse and while they both have their qualities they are also outclassed by Join. It is a truly next-level polished, SMS desktop manager. If they just added support to quickly text a link to the page you are browsing to someone else as well as your own device I will have everything I need. Thanks for such a great extension!

Does not work for SMS.

Works great. Most of the times. The responses are slow by a few seconds sometimes(not very often though), all in all a good app to have. The added tasker integration is a bonus.

One of my top recommended apps! Check it out it will be worth your time. and I had one small issue at 5am sent a email and got a response that was a fix in 15mins!!

Unbelievably convenient and essential when on the PC. Send all kinds of commands to and from phone, push files, clipboard etc. True 5 star app. While the interface is minimalist (some may say old-school look) and a bit counter-intuitive, once you get used to it, it works. A must-have app.

Crashed Chrome v61.0.3163.100 on Mac OS High Sierra.

An incredibly powerful program that comes backed with every conceivable tool. The developer is continuously adding more features and improving those that already exist. I cannot recommend this more.

Moved from pushbullet to Join. Does the same thing and much more. It looks like it only has a 1 time fee compared to the monthly or annual of pushbullet. I really like Join, it runs great, I highly recommend it.

Use to work really well now it does nothing with this error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'Symbol(Symbol.iterator)' of null at generateHideDevicesOptions (options.js:258) at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (options.js:269) UPDATE: After uninstalling and reinstalling six or seven times it works perfect now

This is the missing link for connecting all your Android devices.

Wonderful app. Better than Pushbullet, and very cheap for the amount of things it does right. Would recommend. It doesn't look particularly good, though, which I'm taking off one star for. The design is functional, but that's about it.

Join is a wonderful app on my phone and an extension in chrome. I love being able to paste my clipboard as well as open a tab on my phone from my computer. Typing long sms messages with a keyboard is awesome. The one issue I have on Chrome/Windows 7 is when my ip routing changes (due to enabling/disabling vpn connections). When that happens the refresh button constantly spins and only some sms messages appear. Once I kill the process in the chrome task manager and restart, it's back to normal and I can see all messages. I do not see this issue with Chrome on Windows 10.

This extension rarely works perfectly. I am finding myself having to remove it and add it back in order for any of my sms's to update. I have to do this at least once every couple of weeks which is a little ridiculous. Kind of makes me wish I had gone with another alternative to pushbullet.

Join works really, really well! It's by far the fastest and most reliable app of its kind, in my personal experience. The only thing that would make it better is if this extension were made into an actual Chrome app. Being able to put it in my taskbar and/or dock (I use Mac OS and Windows) would make it 10x more useful. As it stands, I have to open Chrome, then click on the extension button to be able to do anything. Weirdly enough, you allow the extension to pop out as a separate window, but it's still not a standalone Chrome app.

Best text to pc app there is. and its free!

This is an outstanding extension. I get text messages on my computer and can respond to them directly using my keyboard. This comes in super handy when I log into some website, and it sends me a code I have to enter to complete the login process by text message. It even has a handy "copy number from text" button. Perfect. I also feel like I've barely scratched the surface of what this can do.

Makes all my devices speak to each other nicely. A great godsend. Used to be a big Pushbullet fan, but I paid for Pro for a year and nothing happened... Gave up and came here instead and haven't regretted it.

Best one out of all the other ones. MightyText and Pushbullet dont even compare.

Overall it gets the job done. A little buggy sometimes. Also I don't think it's very pretty. Pushbullet is much more aesthetically pleasing IMO. But, like I said, Join gets the job done so I can't complain.

great app, a touch buggy at times. for example the menus disappear, or it flashes an old version of conversation history as i load smses

I love this app, and it is one of the most useful things on my computer. However I often have an issue where I go to open it and it looks all messed up, and I can't click on anything. The only way to fix the issue is to remove it from chrome, and reinstall, which requires me to set up SMS again. It would be very helpful if this got fixed in the near future!

Incredible. Very well polished. WIll try it as a possible replacement of Pushbullet. Main issue with this is I use different google accounts and there's no way to link the devices together unless they're all on the same google account.

I cannot find a way (if it is possible) to show past notifications...once the popup has gone no way to retreive what's in there... if it's possible to get back historical notifications I will give 5 stars. Thanks

I like this extension and the app a great deal, but I have one issue with it. It seems to be unable to sync with my phone after I have exited Chrome/logged out and returned. When attempting to manually refresh, the refresh circle endlessly spins, despite my phone having a connection at the time. To remedy this, I have to disable/enable the extension. When running the diagnostics, it hangs on "Testing registration on Join's server" until the disable/re-enable.

Absolutely the best replacement for Pushbullet. EASILY worth what I paid for it.

must have chrome extension. Ever since Pushbullet decided to put in place a terrible paid/subscription model I have started to use JOIN. It isn't as polished as pushbullet or as quick but it doesn't have artificial limits in place and a one-time buy option (which I will get once the free trial is done).

This is a great add-on. It pretty works as advertised. If you have any problems with it, don't hesitate to contact the developer. He's great at getting back to you to try to resolve any problems that you may be having. I use this add-on strictly for SMS on the PC. I don't really care about the notifications, but it works great and fast. Way better than Pushbullet IMHO.
