This block google tracking. Works fine in 2023 with Universal Analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Ads tracking.
does absolutely nothing
I don't need this, why not simply installing any other ad blocker?
I am still being tracked according to my google analytics. I am trying to block my computer regardless of my dynamic ip and which wifi i am using. Does this take time to take effect?
IG it works ironically, GOOGLE made this xD
Not appearing in GA anymore! Done. Blocking IP Addresses stopped working and this fixed that issue. I'll keep an eye on any malfunctions, and will disable as a first test.
Opt-Out should mean Opt-Out without being prompted otherwise. Personally, I couldn't care if I never saw another advert in my lifetime.
I am an SEO consultant. This works perfectly for my needs: so that I am not skewing my client's traffic data if I am looking at multiple pages on their site over and over again. I checked it by monitoring real-time traffic in GA and it doesn't register my views.
I find it disturbing that you have to install spyware to prevent what, Spyware? Give me a break. Enough is enough. How stupid do you think we are? This is over the line.
The "When you click the extension" option doesnt actual work. Just bring up the drop down again...
it does not do anything im still getting personalized adds so therefore 1 star
Not working anymore as of June 9, 2021
Good idea and it seems to work well. I just hate that I can not white list the websites that I trust, it's either block all or none. Pretty stupid if you ask me. It's shocking that all the smart people at google doing all the thinking for us have missed on this important feature. And BTY it's grayed out when you visit/browse chrome web store, they didn't forget that.
Worked for about 5 minutes and now I have no internet, turned off the chrome extension and internets back. This is Google we're talking about come on fix it
very much informative
A really easy option to exclude yourself from all the websites you work on. It used to be easy in the days of fixed IP's but with dynamic IP's its a little more complicated. I have several browsers I use, so I just need to remember to do all my SEO work on Chrome. Thanks Google :-)
good
It amuses me that in order to opt-out of data-harvesting, you have to install a plug-in from the same people you're hiding from.
This extension used to work, but as of Chrome 79.0.3945.130, it prevents Google Voice from loading its new UI. PLEASE FIX. In the meantime, a work-around is to use Legacy Google Voice.
Google Voice seems to have updated their web application because it now does not load when you have this extension enabled.

one click to make it done. clearly
Performs well. Does what I expected it to do.
Pretty trashy. You can't say what sites are blocked already. There is no UI to manage that.
good. page load increased, cpu use decreased
It just stopped working the in the last 4 days. Worked perfectly prior. Google Chrome recently updated so I'm assuming that's the cause...
ok
I've installed it and it seems to work immediately for me. Four stars for uncertainty about the future but seems all good now and easier than creating a filter in Google Analytics I'd have to change all the time. I don't mind other sites knowing my behavior; my sole use at this time is to prevent tracking myself.
nice
Works great! I wish it had the ability to specifically allow Analytics tracking on specified sites though. That would be super useful for me. Currently I have to constantly toggle it on and off.
Why does this have to be an extension? In my opinion this should have been built in the browser and turned on by default. Seems very anticonsumer to have this be an extension. Only one million uses this out of the many millions that uses chrome. And I bet ya it is not because people doesn't care about their privacy, it's because they have no idea this exists.
Perfect. Exactly what I needed.
WARNING: This extension may cause problems on some Discuz forums. Problem: Unable to login, no notification after posting a reply, etc,. Possible Error Message: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'indexOf' of undefined at HTMLIFrameElement.handleResult Solution: Uninstall this extension
I don't even know if it works a little bit. Fortunately there are other ways to disable trackers. I'm going to use the incognito mode permanently.
it works occasionally, google analytics was blocked by my antivirus on this page , my ad-blocker also recognized it too
hay
I just can't say as this has slowed me down, but I can say the adverts got allot more random. Must be working!
excellent. Work well.
good
Like many other users/reviewers, the add on is greyed out and not working. and there are no troubleshooting guidelines anywhere. This sucks.
i like it
it is very good
shoteeee
Personally speaking I was fed up from tracking my own footprints on our website as my router was not having a static IP address. I installed this plugin my system along with other devices and it is working. Thanks for making such a wonderful plugin.
This is the first extension you need if you want complete anomility from ad trackers use ublock origin or privacy badger to block all non-google advertisers from tracking you
it's not working, still i am getting add's based upon my browsing history.
Breaks Google Voice calling
Works good.
over full service
chrome webstore.com
Has worked great for years, but now enabling this extension causes Gmail to stop receiving calls inside the browser.
perpect
Exceptional
It does what it says it will do. What more could you ask? I've used it for the past two months; none of my traffic is showing up in Real Time in Google Analytics which is exactly what I want on my laptop with dynamic ips all over town!
Worked fine until a few months ago when it started stalling Hangouts voice calling.
As of December 2017, this extension prevents google-voice calls from being made via gmail or hangouts.
Not working
As others have noted, this now interferes with Hangouts, making it impossible to place outgoing calls. No error message is generated, the calls simply do not go through.
Recently started interfering with making calls from hangouts
Doesn't actually work at all.
please update the firefox version
Prevents phone calls and hangouts (and other buttons) from working.
Thanks.
After several days of using this extension I then recently noticed that Chrome was not connecting to the internet at all, no sites at all. Other browsers were working OK. I spent over an hour troubleshooting, but no joy. Then, I disabled all extensions, and Chrome starting working again. So I re-enabled all other extensions and Chrome kept on working....until I re-enabled this extension, then it stopped connecting to the internet entirely again! So now this extension is disabled, and meanwhile Google keep on sucking up all my browsing information and invading my privacy. I concluded that Google perhaps have ZERO interest in making this an effective extension because it reduces how much of your information and privacy they can steal?
good one
عالی
Works perfectly
i like this
I just try this app on my chrome browser get ready to first used, so far run is okay but i will try some different to connected onto my analytics account and all over my google account ... YAY !!!
Web pages still waits to load.. useless app
This extension just needs one thing: A toggle to switch it on and off! I only need to opt out sometimes; other times I want to do testing and see data. Please add this in. Thanks! :)
Perfect
Great Add-On. Does what it says.
good
Must-have extension Works as it says it does, and without memory waste.
mantap b roo
I really like it and it works great. However, I use Canvas for college and this extension doesn't allow me to upload documents to Canvas, which is really important for class
Great!
excellent
best
Not working
Does what it says; does not fire the analytics tag. I agree with Paulie. You need to understand basic Google Analytics to understand this extension i suppose. This extension blocks the tag from doing so, when signed in under your connected Google Account on your Chrome Browser. Could use a blacklist, or an on/off button atleast and I'd give 5 stars.
does not work reinstalled it same ressult
Works perfectly. Lots of bad reviews saying it doesn't work. Not sure why, maybe people think it removes the code from your webpage? That's not how the internet works? This extension tells the analytics code not to fire. I just tested it on my site, and with the extension enabled, Google Analytics Real-Time didn't see my site views or my contact form goal conversions. But when I disabled the extension, Analytics could see me again. As far as I can tell this works perfectly. Thanks!
good
Seems to work fine. Toggle addon on/off to disable/enable
Be handy to be able to switch it on and off from the tool bar
I used it for preventing my traffic from appearing in my website's analytics. It worked well for that.
It appears it doesn't work. I'm not installing it.
This plugin for Use full
Works well enough, but could really do with a blacklist - I only really care about blocking my stats on websites I have built and maintain...
Doesn't work
Great service
very very helpful and understanding
why doesn't google fix this? it doesn't work and it hasnt for a year; i look in cookies and google analytics is still in there every single time, even in LSO cookies, which don't expire. So, this extension is fake and gay. edit: ok i found out why it doesnt work. analytics now resets itself every time you switch sites. i found another program that works and it's great. it's called "GABlocker" go to the web store and search for "google analytics blocker" and a couple extensions will come up. they both work great, but you have to select sites one at a time. i use both, depending on which was updated last. once you put a site on the list, analytics are blocked from it forever, so it's not like you have to do it all the time, just the first time you visit a new site. If you use a lot of new sites in 1 day, just delete analytics cookies manually when done and you'll never have to do it again
It doesn't seem to work>>>>>>>>>>>> I think EU needs to fine Google again,
link send by google but dont work
this does not work. also very helpful
cool
This does not work. Also, a very helpful (and time-saving) ALERT FOR DEVELOPERS: This plugin (v1.1) was breaking AngularJS apps in my Chrome browser (Version 46.0.2490.86 (64-bit)). I'm sure you can see why that is ironic.
i like it
just a big lie from google.
cool app
