Rather than using the latest contact information, it will retrieve the details from its database and replace the latest information with your older data saved in the phone or in Google drive. Sync photo isn't working at all.
It has been working fine but I use the extension from chrome to easily access clients on WhatsApp by copying the number, right clicking and opening it up using in touch. This function has seemed to have stopped working
