Fantastic! One of my absolute most "can't live without" extensions. The biggest problem with it is it only attaches itself to supported videos on load. If videos are added to the page later via javascript, you don't have the option of sending those new links to Kodi.

Great extension. One thing to note is that if you do restrict the extension's website access, you need to go into the Manage Extensions window and ADD your kodi system's ip address to the exceptions otherwise the extension won't be able to communicate with Kodi if you just use the default allow youtube.com option that pops by default on Chrome.

Works well for YouTube. Needs to add more support for other websites... i.e. Bitchute, Rumble, Odessee, Banned.Video, Vimeo etc.

Please make it support more than 1 kodi device.

i love this extention but magnet links does not work anymore due to chrome new update . it does not show in Context menu

SImple. Easy to use. If you can setup Kore or Yatse android remote to work with Kodi, you'll have no trouble with this.

I want to love this. It casts fine, but only casts in a low resolution. I don't see the point in sending a 480p (possibly worse) image to a 4K TV. There doesn't seem to be any way to change the resolution either unfortunately.

Even on a hard wired gigabit network, it plays extremely laggy slow, and then boots the stream after a few seconds anyway.

Works great if settings are correct; if it doesnt work for you, DO NOT FOLLOW ONLINE DIRECTIONS. *DO NOT*: use the IP address found in the Kodi system settings section. NOT CORRECT/ACCURATE. ***DO***: Use the IP found in the FIRESTICK SETTINGS tab, ie, exit kodi, go to the actual firestick settings>device>about>network... you will see a DIFFERENT IP address,which is the ACTUAL one, enter that, port 8080, and Play! Hope this helps anyone unable to connect!

The app is great for videos that directly give URL of video. But these days every video starts with blob:http:... In that case Raspberry PI doesnt recognise it as a video. Please give a solution for that too. How to deal with this blob ?

Great addon. also very useful to send jpg's and gif's to Kodi (I love it that it actually sends GIF correctly and not a static picture. Looping would be great for Gif's through, because the short ones sometimes barely appear. Somehow it doesn't work with pictures from my Google Photo's, but I think that's a limitation from Google, because I cannot cast them to Kodi from my phone through Yatse app either. edit: Added a star because support for dutch site dumpert.nl was also added after I requested it. Thanks for that!

Works flawlessly for sending YouTube videos to Kodi. I have not done a true test but it seems to me that this app is faster to get the video on the Kodi screen vs. casting a YouTube video from Chrome to a Chromecast == with 'Play to Kodi' there is only a brief delay after clicking the 'Play Now' button before your video starts playing, no spinning circles, it just starts playing!

Way too limited to be useful. If not implementing at least the same features available from the default web remote that comes with kodi, why even bother? Good potential, not there yet

Works great for "casting" a YouTube video or Twitch stream to your Kodi media center, almost like a chromecast! Which means I won't have to switch inputs on my tv if I want to watch a YouTube video to my TV.

Works great. Setup was painless. If I have one suggestion, it would be to add a volume control. (Since I use Kodi on an Android stick, volume is a bit of a pain because the Rewind and Volume down buttons are in the same place, and my cheap stick sometimes doesn't differentiate between the two.)

Works great, but there seems t obe a bug - The seekbar doesn't get the scale right, It displays the total time correct, but by seeking you can only got to 1:40 or so, then the track continues to play, but the seekbar stays at the end of the track, so one can't effectively skip more than a minute and a half~

After having tried other extensions that were supposed to work with Kodi, but that never worked well, I had gotten quite sceptical. Now, several months later, I can safely say that my scepsis was unfounded. This extension is continually being updated and new features being added. It's all simple enough, you can right-click a video (I use this mainly for youtube and facebook videos, but other services are also supported) or use the icon from your icon bar and choose what you wish to do, play queue or whatever. However, just today did I discover that you can also right-click an image and have that displayed on your Kodi machine! Yes, I can highly recommend this extension to anyone, and that's coming from a guy with very high standards when it comes to software!

Great extension, works nice and fast. My only, minor, complaint is icon :) can you add kodi-like icon? Other than that, excellent piece of sw!

It does exactly what it says, and generally works really well. My only (very minor) complaint is sometimes if you add many videos the queue very quickly before there is an item playing, there is some weird state where added order isn't respected and only the last video is played.

I use it constantly, will be great if would parse pages to search for videos in websites not that popular as youtube, college humour, etc.

Excellent, this works exactly as well as I had hoped. I have three XMBC media centers in the house, being able to queue up a playlist in the kitchen while I'm watching TV in my den is great. Nice job!

Works perfect! if you have problems with VEVO try bromix his alpha youtube xbmc plugin, be sure to use a simple plugin called Youtube Forwarder inorder to get them forwarded to youtube alpha

It works on most of videos, but VEVO marked videos doesn't. That's the difficulty Youtube addon on Kodi currently facing, not this extension's fault.

Great for queuing up youtube videos to xbmc - would be killer with some more features within the remote control part.

I am quite happy with this plugin, but for my setup could be fixed in one of two ways. The best way would be to add the ability to send a wake-on-lan packet when you play a file if the xbmc host is down. The other way is have an option to turn off polling the xbmc box automatically and only send traffic when explicity playing a file to it. I have openwrt set up to auto wake xbmc when its accessed, but the plugins traffic wakes the xbmc box far too often for it to be considered working right.

Thanks a lot for this app man! Simple, clean and it works like it's supposed to. MUCH better then a similar app for Firefox. Only suggestion I have is to be able to look at your queued list and maybe arrange it. Will most definitely donate a dollar or two, you deserve it.
