Paid 2$, not working, don't waste your time.

Tried this several times in several ways but it was a NoGo from the beginning. I even went so far as resetting the browser entirely. Removed all other extensions. Logged into Slack, and began to use the app. At the end of the day I wound up removing all messages manually. I did read about the python scripts but didn't want to have to deal with a token without reading the script to make sure it was all fine --- thats not to say that this app is safe just because its on the Chrome web store; but more so that it reminded me that I should take a pause on using these types of apps. Anyway, don't waste your time or your money (I did the $2 but not worth disputing either)

Does not work for current slack version
While it's a very clean and simple interface, It just doesn't work.I don't think this was tested very much. I'd love to "buy" it, but I can't justify it if it can't even do one channel. Consistently getting "Load Timeout, Please come back after your channel page load done". Disappointed.
I paid $5 for this app and then slack changed their api. It didn't work for quite a while with no updates or info from the dev. Now it asks me to pay $2 more to get functionality that I already paid $5 for. Not gonna pay more money for something that I already paid for. Plus, there is literally no way to contact the dev. Also, it doesn't work at all as an unpaid version -- so I'm not even sure that paying $2 more will cause things to work. Lame.

This worked well a year ago. I tried it today and it didn't work, so I paid $2 in case that would help. It does not work at all on my latest version Google Chrome. Please contact me and send me a refund.

Hey Dev, I've kept an eye on this since a couple of weeks, after slack's backend update your extension timed out now on 14th your extension got updated but now although it doesn't time out but doesn't do anything either, can you please cross check once, i'm urget need for this.
Was working fine. But now the extension is not fetching messages from any slack channel. Just says "Load timeout"
Paid version doesn't work anymore. Simple get a "Timeout" error.
The extension no longer operates as intended. Every time I execute a command, I am receiving "Load Timeout" (paid version). I'm aware Slack made some background changes recently, so something may be impacting this extension.
It was working perfectly when using the free version, I paid to get the full version that lets you delete from more than one channel and it stopped working!! I am hoping that it gets fixed ASAP
Been trying to get messages to load - keep getting message timeout - trying to delete everything beyond recent week. Tried dozens of times. Now I get a spinning wheel

messages deleted from channel fine... took time but worked well. BUT... using FREE slack version the total # of messages still show as over 10k for us... were trying to not have to go to the paid version... so on the surface this works but in reality the files are still stored in slack's servers/ database
As for me, it is just time wasting. It shows progress, but really does nothing. Also the window disappear when the browser lose focus, and at re-running it again shows the same remaining messages. So one can not touch the computer while this stuff "works". So it is better to write node.js application, then use this extension.
I paid for the extension for 30 days. The first day it worked fine. Every time I've tried to use it since then nothing happens. It's been a week and every single time I use it it says it's batch deleting when NOTHING ever gets deleted. Nothing has changed. Same slack, same user account but for some reason it just does not work.
Oh man, this saved SO MUCH of my time! Thank god.
Worked on about the 4th try. Not sure if this was a coincidence but I refreshed the page then I scrolled from bottom to top using Page-up key (not the scroll bar) then launched the extension and I was able to delete by user. Obviously could be better but it is the only way I could find to bulk delete a ton of messages moy bot generated.
Worked really well to clean up my general channel of about 600 messages during our expansion. Keep the tab open and let it run and it'll do the job well, but even if you close it, restarting the process where you left off worked just fine.
Worked fine eventually. Was getting timeout errors every time I opened it. I had to refresh the page a few times and scroll to the top and it eventually worked like a charm

Great idea but I too get the timed out issue. I have been looking for a tool to delete messages for all users in a channel this would be great if it worked.
