definitely works well, would recommend. unfortunately though it stops the "never ending reddit" feature of RES so i had to turn it off.

It doesn't seem to do anything for me.

Could not have done it better, works perfectly on old.reddit.com and www.reddit.com as of March 2019, and even support custom CSS, the sidebar will go away properly and then all other content on the page will actually use that space (this works for subs with and without CSS). instant 5 star rating, many thanks!

Toggles sidebar. Hides it, widens page. Perfection!

I used to use "Reddit Hide Sidebar", but this one works with r/gamedev's filters. Also, nice that it doesn't flash the sidebar on load.

As mentioned by other users: The non flashing sidebar is fantastic!

it actually widens the view after it hides the sidebar unlike the others that only hide the sidebar and nothing else. it actually widens the view after it hides the sidebar unlike the others that only hide the sidebar and nothing else. it actually widens the view after it hides the sidebar unlike the others that only hide the sidebar and nothing else.

It did what I needed it to, and nothing more. Exactly what I'm looking for from an extension like this. Thanks a lot!

Great for what it does, but would it be possible to have the toggle action available as 'Activate The Extension' in the 'Keyboard Shortcuts' subpane of Chrome's extension page? Would love to be able to toggle the sidebar without reaching for the mouse.

Doesn't actually extend the page for more space, simply hides it. The posts are still as narrow as they were with just empty useless space on the right.

Supports custom CSS!!! Hell yes!!!

Not only hides the sidebar, it also expands the sub and comments to fill the space. This does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Works soooo perfectly! it actually widens the view after it hides the sidebar unlike the others that only hide the sidebar and nothing else. Thank you very much

Awesome! Hides the sidebar and makes the page spread wide even if you leave the subreddit style on!

Did not hide the sidebar.

"Doesn't leave a blank space with custom subreddit styles" is the best feature of this extension.
