This extention is using 100 percent of my CPU especially when I go to google.com and search for something. I'm almost sure that it's using user's computer for mining.
I don't know how well it works, but when I installed it, it showed a bar called "Ciuve" or something like that. I don't know if that's just an old name for the extension, or if there's some bait-and-switch going on with something that harvests all your data. Unfortunately I've seen the latter happen way too often with other Chrome extensions, so I'm uninstalling it.
Constantly shows me the next best thing, not the exact product I'm looking for. Sometimes, the next best thing isn't even close to what I'm looking for. UI is very bulky and not very customisable. I would very much have preferred to be able to search through the extension rather than passive price-comparisons of unrelated products. Wouldn't recommend.
useless, all it did was try to sell me another item, nothing i was looking at. wish i looked here first, seems it is just broken.
didnt do anything, if there is some kind of prerequisite or requirement for running this extension, it should be announced here on the webstores posting.

it doesn't work, waste of time
I tried out a few price comparison extensions and PriceScout never did much. I added 5 others and PriceScout was not the worst (a Chinese extension get's that award) but it was #4 of 5. It only found prices 10% of the time and much of those were for the wrong product.
While I have this extension installed, I get chrome warnings about client.foxydeal.com when I browse websites. Removing it fixes the warnings, re-installing it makes them come back again. When it said it found a cheaper price for something, it was an entirely different product.
When it does something it always shows me better prices on completely different things!

Doesn't work. Just sits there on the browser bar doing absolutely nothing at all. If I click it all I get is this page. NO price comparisons.
Does not work, finds unrelated products
This plugin rarely finds the same product that you are looking for. Normally it finds other “similar” items, which is not what I am needing.

Everyone that has downloaded this extension has experienced problems with this application. I highly doubt contacting the DEVELOPER, (aka: THE PROBLEM) would help at all. Google needs to wake up and fix this.

Does nothing but take up memory. Sends you to their page when clicking the button.

It's installed, and whenever I try to click it it just takes me back to the page asking to install it!
I've had this for months. Only wastes my time. Now, I can't uninstall. This is everything bad about the internet. Shame on you Pricescout. Bummer.

If it were just in the task bar and you could click on it then MAYBE I'd keep it - as is, it's VERY annoying.

Haven't seen it work once. Tested it out by finding a product with the highest price. Still no popup or anything to offer a lower price. Probably not worth the memory it's eating in Chrome.
Redirected me to an unrelated website... the 5* reviews are suspiciously within a few days of each other... behaved like malware so I removed it.

Something must have gone wrong lately from the all the recent bad reviews. I recommend using the up-and-coming PepFeed extension, specially if you're into tech!

none of the recommendations are ever accurate.
Every time I used this to check a lower price, the items linked were not the same item. Sometimes the item was way off, other times it was a similar item or the same manufacturer but wrong item. Hopefully they get this fixed in the future and I will use it again.

Every product it recommends is different to the product I am originally looking for. I can't see how it is supposed to help. I was searching for Nike trainers only to be directed to completely different brands and even an actual guitar amp! God only knows the link between trainers and a guitar amp.
Every single product it recommends it not the same product I am shopping for. And, I am unable to uninstall it. It has really ruined my browser experience.
It is a wonderful extension that really helps me decide what to choose when buying something.
