I love using Surf. I love the rewards and the variety of them. Surf is so easy to use and efficient, and I have loved sharing it to family and friends!

It was a four star before their recent changes, but now is one star. After the recent update, you could only get gift cards in giveaways. You have to gamble away all of your points in hopes of winning a gift card. Before this update, you could redeem a guaranteed $10 gift card for 2000 points without any luck involved. It was out of stock most of the time, but you could still redeem one once in a while if its in stock. This update has ruined the extension, none of the other redeemable rewards interest me and most others. They took down the discord server to suppress backlash for this update which is absolutely absurd. Will not be using anymore.

Its easy enough to generate points, but a lack of rewards makes this a con. I wrote to the company siting this only to be told that it wouldn't be economically viable to pay all users. I uninstalled the add-on after a few months as I should have earned £40 of their sold-out vouchers and I can't see them coughing up the money anytime soon.

complete rip off. they used to have mostly gift cards years ago when i first installed the extension. Now as majority mentioned there are a bunch of useless discounts for stores you probably wont even ever shop at (and those are not even good discounts). Amazon and Visa gift cards always sold out. And they always provide same generic response to negative reviews instead of really addressing those.

It is clear to me that this extension is a bait and switch or scam. When I first used it I was able to get an Amazon gift card from browsing. Nice, right? Unfortunately they stopped offering any kind of valuable cards for exchange. So at this point they're just taking your data and not giving you anything in return, which is just what the big companies are doing anyway (and that was kinda the whole point of this, wasn't it?). They claim that they are offering new worthwhile rewards, but these are perpetually "Sold out" (Note the quotation marks). I don't believe these are ever available, but in any event, it doesn't matter if they are – the average person will never get access to them, and instead is offered a plethora of off-brand, worthless discounts.

Loving it so far. I'm glad its made available for UK. I've recommended it to close friends and family as I know some people have concerns with sharing browsing history. So far I've purchased a few Amazon vouchers and looking forward to getting a Tesco voucher for my dad. I browse much so its a win win :) They host giveaways too which require points to enter. Great idea so I will try to save points also as well as spending.

As has been said many times, rewards are mostly for useless brands. The only thing worth anything were the Amazon gift cards and they are never available. I also use the Nielsen Netsite extension and they always have them in both $5 and $10 values. Got 2 already. I've had this app for about three months trying to see if they will ever have anything of value but I don't think they will . Going to remove the extension now and check back in a few months to see if the 6000 points I have can get me anything. If it ever gets better I'll instal it again.

Terrible reward offers, most of which are about as good as newspaper coupons but they cost points and are for subpar brands. I tried to use rewards to buy some new flip flops, since I don't care about brand loyalty there, only to find the reward had a minimum of $75 purchase for $10 off. Several of the rewards have the same restriction, the few that don't are even worse options usually.

Edit, Unless your saving for a ps5 or something that high. I would recommend pausing surf if your going for gift cards. Was recommended to my by a friend it I thought it was a good idea. So I'm recommending it to others. There are other rewards but a lot of them I won't use and the ones I could use I don't have a store for in my small town and its hours drive to a city to use them. Amazon has most things that I could buy. So does GameStop and Nintendo store. I would even take discount codes for those stores also if any will do discounts even though GameStop already has great discounts. My friend was part of discord he said he read it cost surf money to buy gift cards, but when I looked up gift cards from amazon it says they are free of tax. So a little confused unless they meaning it cost them money for the employees to send them to you which they should be getting paid from the data they sale. So if you not going for high points rewards then I would say pause it once you get to around 6000 points until you get something you want. Surf is legit, but starting to feel like a scam selling your data and they give you rewards but nothing worth buying. Otherwise its a great extension. Wish they would get someone else to do the videos on twitter then that one guy.

I wanted to redeem an amazon gift card but its always sold out I havent seen it be available since I started using this extention.

It was good when it started. They had amazon.com gift cards then. The rewards became mostly discounts for businesses I'd never heard of and had no interest in. The extension began having trouble loading, so I'd have to close it and reopen it to access the UI. The extension UI completely stopped loading later. Then their website wouldn't load (adblocker disabled). I disabled Surf. Now their website works again. And... after seeing if anything was fixed before reviewing, the extension started working after several minutes, but with some difficulties (mostly logging in).

Surf is an amazing concept and idea. It is a very simple and easy way to gain revenue and rewards while browsing the internet. Many of us are on the internet for hours at a time, so why not make money while you're doing it. Love using Surf and highly recommend it!

Being from Texas there are different rewards that I can choose from. It is truly an awesome product! It was super easy to setup and use. Now, I am passively being rewarded for using the web. It is working exactly as Surf promised. It makes me wonder why a product like this was not created before, but like all revolutionary ideas - someone has to have the vision to create it and bring then bring it to the market. You know, i keep wondering why Surf Team are lamenting on Sold Out Amazon GC. A lot of reward companies out there are offering thousands of varieties of gift cards and other payment methods, but Surf Team are/maybe uploading 5 Amazon GC every week for 200,000 users to redeem. That makes sense at all? If you're doing the right thing, you don't need to place ads or even make much noise about what you offer, because your worth will bring millions of users to your platform. It looks like Surf Team are still playing some kind of childish game with their company (even after 1yr celebration). During their first (Beta) time last year, they got different kinds of Gift cards and payment option, but when they started getting much some users (1k, 2k,3k,bla bla) they removed some gift cards without notifying the users that they gonna do that. 2months later they got off some gift cards too, 3months....they got off...then finally they removed all the gift cards without letting us know. Is that that how a legit company should act? It showed that they don't care about our opinion. They can do whatever they want. But i'm glad they've lost much user after betraying 99.9% of their users. They're really broke now. This is what gonna happen if a company doesn't have structure and enough wisdom/knowledge how to run the game. They said the Amazon GC is back but 99% of their users (200,000 ghost users) haven't gotten the opportunity to redeem the sold out GC because they're uploading 5 Amazon GC per week. 199,995 users still waiting to be lucky to redeem.... Seems like a lottery, lol It's really shameful that a company that started well is really going backwards instead of progressing. I don't know if people still trust you guys with their data, but as for me, i've disabled the extension. You guys should go restrategize and come back to us. All these 5 stars reviews seems like a Bot or they're just new users.

I've been a Surfer for 2 weeks and its been pretty good. The extension even works on edge. The internet already collects data from every user and this extension lets you earn while they do so. Amazing stuff from this extension.

Hey y'all, i wanna let y'all know that this extension wants nothing but to steal your data. I redeemed the so called 'sold out' $10 Amazon gift card on September 28, 2022, but i have not received it. The owner of this extension is totally broke and the goal is to keep y'all surfing the web while he keep selling y'all data and tag the Amazon 'sold out.' Even if you redeem it you won't be paid like they did to me. Stay away from this extension. They just wanna sell your data and give you nothing. Just uninstall if you've installed already. $10 is actually nothing but what we all want is sincerity.

With FatCoupon, i can get loads of discount codes without doing anything much, just by installing the extension. With Surf, i have to browse/refer before i could get a free discount code which is absolutely useless. Nobody wants those awkward.....stuff. I got a mail that the amazon is back and i had to check it and found out that it's 'sold out' All i see is bad management. Maybe the owner is running out of data to sell and he has decided to bring back an imaginary gift card so that we could keep surfing while the amazon is tagged 'sold out. Amazing, lol What happened to the other gift cards like Doordash, Xbox, Sephora, Uber, Ebay, Walmart? They're sold out too? I think the owner should be learning from other platforms that offer rewards too. 90% of people in the US don't even know there's a company called Surf because nobody wanna give out their data to unknown company who silently removed all the gift cards without letting their users know. For me, i do not trust this extension and the owners anymore.

Great concept / well intentioned. Unfortunately, quality & execution has gone hill. Spent close to a year using this extension for all my browsers (personal + work). Really wanted to support the company ... again, the value props are great & company is well intentioned. However, extension has not been working for ~3 months. No clarity on when it will be fixed. Can't redeem on the web-app either. In short - I can no longer collect points nor redeem (one year's worth of) points. Gift cards have also gone downhill as many others have pointed out. TLDR - Gave all my data <> got nothing out of it. Disappointing.

I'm still wondering why Surf Team are exaggerating and overemphasizing on the new added $10 Amazon gift card. Other companies like Microsoft, Swagbucks, Branded, etc....ain't partnered by any of the rewards they give out, but they still offer it without no issue for some good years. But right here, Surf Team are over emphasizing on Amazon non-partnered gift card. Amazon as a company got no business with your own company. You earn from our data and you gotta share it. Microsoft/Swagbucks/Branded/Fetch reward, etc..has been for years and still got many other rewards out there to give out. Why are you guys playing tricks here? Now that the Amazon is back and it's being limited, how can we trust your company again with our data?

Surf used to offer reviews that made sense like Amazon gift cards that were loved by the user base. However, recently they have decided to remove Amazon gift cards and others like them in place of sketchy startup offers that most people will never use. It's a shame that I won't be able to use the points I earned while Surf sells all my data. Don't download.

Reviews are mostly fradulent copy/paste. Rewards have been nerfed and value of points halved. No gift cards available, only coupons and items that are out of range for anyone but referral spammers. Update: they cut and run - haven't been able to access points or anything, the extension is broken. Wow. Just wow.

They've removed gift cards and now offering discounts for unknown/starter brands! The type of discounts where you can easily find online! I'm pretty sure the average user doesn't want 10% off from boohooMan or $5 off from Escents. Surf is gaining a lot of profit from us but can't provide rewards that users want! It's safe to say that Surf is a total scam, they removed the thing people had joined for once they've established a user base!

Today I received a google security alert that someone is login into my account. After reviewing suggestion from google I found this extension name for that. It is stealing password. Remove it from webstore.

It's not even giving me points anymore and i JUST redeemed my first reward...

I worked so hard to get up to 29,000pts to redeem Fitbit Versa 2 Wristwatch, surf didn't send me my reward ($145 amazon gift card). I messaged the support team, all i got was a bot reply from them. After some days, they disabled my account for no relevant reason. Right now, i'm unable to login. Stay away from this extension. This extension should be reported and removed from chrome web store. Stay away from it.

They took away gift card rewards. Now they are just taking my data without rewarding me with something I want.

its too too bad of the recent updates from SURF, they removed all cards without any notice. Now we have Fitbit Versa 2 which is 29,000 pts for $145 for Amazon card and after inviting family to this stress and burning their time and data, just for surf to tell you that the card was placed their to check criminal activities, mehn this damn fraud and should be removed . please run from Surf now till further notice. they have criminal tendencies

Ridiculous "rewards." Luckily I received one $25 Amazon card before they ditched that reward. They advertise generous referral rewards and that is the fastest way to accumulate points, that is if you can talk someone into joining. But what's the point? I'm donating my points and then I'm outta here.
