This seems to be malware. I installed it and now I get a pop-up tab in chrome for newapptome.com. I'm hoping this stops when I remove this extension.

Not working properly for me. It doesn't block the ad completely, just the visual. The ad still plays and I still hear the audio.
There is option to disable or enable ads and annotions but option go back to default in every refresh.
The app does its job of blocking ads and to tell you the truth it's the best one I have ever tried. The developers would've put a lot of effort into this because I can see that in its performance. The only thing that could have been better is that they could block the add before it loads onto the screen.
Downloaded this extension on 25th of Feb 2022, so far no ads appeared but there's a problem. The prev video button, play/pause, next video button cc settings full screen icons has disappeared, only the timestamp can be seen which is, eg 0:00 / 1:21. Please help to resolve this asap. Thank you for the amazing service. I will look forward for your updates.

BAD NEWS. For me this completely disabled youtube. Even after removing the extension, youtube will still not play videos, just unskippable ads in audio only. Now I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling chrome. If that doesn't fix it I'll have to reinstate the entire OS from backup. Not happy.
yes, sometimes I do the plugin on of. I think this is not a problem.

Adblock for youtube extensions is only blocks youtube ads. It would be great if they block ads on other sites as well. It's nice that it's free too.

I do not know how to activate this ad blocker.. the moment after I add it into my google chrome, I pinned it but the youtube ads still pop up every 1 minute... did I not install anything else to stop the ads from popping up or is it just youtube had a counter attack back on the ad blocker? Would be great if you can guide me thru the whole process....

works only sometimes. most of the time the ads still pop up. not sure why...
The first ad showed, then the second one blocked, then all ads shown, no more blocking happening.
After installing the plugin, it immediately starts ad blocking. There is no on/off setting. Simple and working plugin.
