It was working fine for the first 2-3 months but recently it is not saving any of my new groups. I have tried multiple times to save it and even tried deleting some of my old groups thinking that would help but there has been no change. Kindly resolve this issue immediately

1 It will be great if I can search tab titles among the group. Now I can only export into a json file to search it manually. 2 Cannot append tabs into a existed group easily because you can only select tabs one by one to apppend. 3 Buggy. When you try to save a window of tabs into a group with "close tabs after save group", your tabs will be lost before it tells you cannot directly save a group with same name (cannot append directly)

One of the only tab extensions available that functions correctly, that is actually usable. Seems a little clunky to add links to the groups but I found you can right-click on any page, not on the tab and click add to group. The links themselves are easy to get to afterwards but and it was driving me nuts because it was so many clicks to add but the right clicking solved that.

Sync Tab Groups is far more functional and easier to use... and STG has not been updated in years.

Brilliant. Super useful. Requests? I would to block dup links in "add new link" and also add an option to close other tabs when you select certain tab groups. eg I have 2 tabs open, I open "learning C" group, I'd like an option to close all other tabs in that open window.

So far so good. It does the one thing that the native Chrome 'tab-group' doesn't which for me is saving a group after the browser session is closed. Would love to have this save across sessions under my chrome profile on another computer.

why always could not save the tab with the url "http://www.cocoachina.com/articles/897333" ? and if i wanna save many tabs with this url in, it could save nothing finally. but, any way, this is the one of the best tools to save tabs , thank you.

Something I have been waiting for a long time from Chrome. One improvement I would like to see is after adding a Tag Group, let me have the ability to drag-and-drop / update my existing group without having to select all the tabs from another browser. If I open my current Tab Group and added a few new tabs, I want to be able to just update the group and not to save the entire list of tabs again which duplicates existing tabs in the group. And with the new introduction of the Group tabs back in May 2020, I was playing around with it to label a bunch of tabs but I am not able to save that label information. The moment I close the browser, all the labels are gone. I would like to see the Tag Group extension label all tabs accordingly to the Group Name. In that way, I can manipulate the group accordingly. There has to be a connection between the Tag Group extension and the Group tab features. Otherwise, they look to be disconnected.

Would be perfect if there were a way to configure it to default to saving only tabs from the _current_ rather than giving you a list of _all_ windows. I keep a lot of windows open and it's kind of a pain to have to scroll through my list of 30+ windows to try to figure out which one is the one I'm currently working in that I want to save. I'd suggest making the current window the default with an "advanced button" to allow people to choose tabs from all windows or at least make it a config option.

I have 6 groups each having max 4items. Everytime I click on the icon it takes almost 5~10sec to show. This needs to be speed up.

Just starting to use this, as I'm also using the Chrome tab groups flag ... This is really another bookmark manager separate from your browser's, that's all. But this is useful to me for short-term, dynamic groupings, while leaving the more permanent organization of sites in my browser's manager... And that brings me to its usefulness with the Chrome tab groups flag, which has no way to save tab groups (that I can see). I use this extension to manually save, restore, & update Chrome tab groups. it's not seamless, but it's a convenient way for now to save Chrome tab groups. Which brings me to .... I think it would be really helpful to integrate the functionality of this extension with Chrome tab groups! (BTW, one idea for those who want/need to save their tab groups from this extension: When it's time to change/update browser, you can manually - and fairly easily, if there aren't too many - create and fill bookmark folders in your browser's bookmark manager with each tab group and its contents. Then your tab groups would exist within your browser's bookmark manager, ready to be exported for transfer. When you're ready with your new browser or update, and have added back in your old bookmarks, you can add in the extension and then manually remake tab groups from the tab group bookmark folders. It could be easier, but it's not all that difficult or time consuming, and at least all is not lost!)

we do need a export or import function, or some ways to backup the tabs I've saved, otherwise, what are we supposed to do if we need to reinstall chrome

Overall a very useful Chrome extension. I use it at work to group tabs/windows by the projects I work on. Help to not keep 40+ tabs open at the same time. Easy to add & remove tabs from a group, though not entirely intuitive until you've done it once or twice. One big fault is not being able to adjust the default window size when you open a tab group. It always opens in the same dimension window (approximately 600x600 is my guess) regardless of display size. Having to resize the window to a reasonable working size every time does get a bit tiresome.

Absolutely useful and important as well , i am trying to include this extension in my daily workflow but some time after resizing the browser, nothing shows up after clicking the icon. Definitely would love to download an update.

Not very useful or convenient. Even manual operating with bookmarks would be better. Nowadays exists much better tab management extensions and even browsers with grouping out of the box.

I find it better than other tab group extensions but as you save more groups the extension doesn't save some of the groups probably

I would like to see the following features which will improve I believe the extension: - Ability to export/import - Some kind of backup system (I was using OneTab and all my links are gone, that's how I got to your extension) - Ability to rename groups - Some message asking if you want to open the tabs when you click on the group. I did save tones of tabs and clicking there opened them all which wasn't my intention. - Ability to choose if you want to open on a new window, in same window or in private window. I believe that's all :) It looks good and has potential. Thanks for the hard work. I hope you are able to make some of those adding to the extension.

Is it possible to automatically add a tab to a group based on a URL pattern ?

You should seriously implement a lot of these suggestions you're seeing. This has potential, but it's not quite there yet. There should be a way to edit the names of the chromes after creating them. Also (and I think this is even MORE IMPORTANT), when clicking the make a group button, every tab is listed without organization. People can have tabs in other windows, and so the tabs should be listed as groups based on the window there open in. So instead of having each tab listed one after the other, there can be a "group all open tabs in this window" button. So you can click that to select all tabs that belong to a particular window. This could also save time instead of having to check mark each tab individual (especially confusing when there's no break to separate them based on what window they're open in). Really hope you guys implement these changes (not just mine, read the reviews).

"Select all" is horribly broken. Pressing it check the "Select all" box itself, clicking it again un-selects the "Select all" box and selects everything else. When using the search and then pressing "Select all" (twice in this case) I'd expect ONLY the searched items to be selected. In other words, "Search" should actually be a "Filter". Apart from that, the UI is to big and looks way out-of-place. All that said, I like the general idea and certainly see it's usefulness.

Hi One more suggestion. Provide a way to recover groups and URLS, if one accidently removes the extension the entire hard work is lost.

Very nice. The only annoying thing is that it lists pinned tabs when you click on the + sign. An option to ignore those would be very helpful.

Useful extension, works smoothly and also has a nice look. I would suggest to: - change the behavior on click of the accordion, expanding the item instead of opening all tabs (when there are many can stop the browser) - have the possibility to rename a group - export/import to XML/HTML the data Nice extension, thanks for that.
