非常實用方便,感謝你提供免費又優質的工具!
This is an excellent extension manager, and it is the ONLY ONE that offers a combination of the main features of two other popular extension managers, namely (1) "NooBoss," that allows enabling extensions based on websites accessed, and (2) "Extensity" that allows creating profiles ("groups" instead in this extension). Then there is the additonal "naming" (alias) feature for extensions. The only major drawback is that the creation of rules is limited to only 10, as compared to the "NooNoss"extension where there isn't any limit. Hope the limit can be lifted. The last update was more than a year ago, on 4 November 2021. I'm hoping that this project hasn't been abandoned by the developer, and that further improvements. including lifting the limit on the creation of rules, will be forthcoming in the future.
This is the extension I needed! It allows you to turn on and off other chrome extensions on a PER WEBSITE bases. Some sites run finicky scripts that break. This allows me to quickly turn them off on those sites. THANK YOU! I have been looking for this exact extension.
NOT SAFE !!! Hijack the user's jump rebate site without the user's consent. https://www.landiannews.com/archives/89421.html -- 2012/8/1 https://www.v2ex.com/t/792792 -- 2021-07-30 https://v2ex.com/t/684433 -- 2020-06-24
Great things to say about this one. It's shockingly customizable no matter what your use cases are. Even the UI is customizable, which is rare indeed. First of all, this extension's purpose is to turn extensions ON or OFF. Saw some confused reviews on here complaining that they can't "access other extension options" from within this extension. That is not possible in Chrome for security reasons. PIN your extensions in the ACTUAL Chrome UI instead & click the ACTUAL Chrome icons to use them. Chrome remembers their placement in the extension bar even if you are constantly turning them on or off with this extension. An example of something I use this for - I have tons of cashback shopping extensions that are essentially spyware & slow down browsing if left enabled all the time. I can group them all with the extension & turn them all on & off whenever I want with no effort. I also am constantly enabling & disabling random extensions that I only need rarely (like a video downloader or a screen recording one). You can do it in one click. There's even an option to order the extensions by how often you enable them. There is an option to enable or disable extensions based on their URL, but there's a limit for it, so that is one improvement.
learning tool \
So beautiful extension but the only problem and it is very big it should not disable option directy by click it should be in 3 dot menu and when user click on extesnion it should popup extension options like normal not in a separate page. Please add this option i want to use this extesnion without it i can't use it.
How are you supposed to use interactive extensions if clicking disables them? I have a couple of extensions that work in the background but most are interactive / require a click prompt to use . Even this extension requires you to click the icon in order to view the manager window. Extremely frustrating oversight, would otherwise be a great extension manager.
The Extension Manager is a great tool for anyone who uses multiple extensions on their web browser. It allows you to easily manage and organize all of your extensions in one place, making it easier to find the ones you need and disable any that you no longer use. One of the best features of the Extension Manager is the ability to manage your extensions by allowing you to enable or disable them as needed. This can be especially useful if you have extensions that you only use occasionally, as it allows you to turn them off when you don't need them to improve your browser's performance. However, you can only have 10 rules! I mailed the developer, to add more rules but he didn't respond. In addition to managing your extensions, the Extension Manager also provides options for customizing the way they work. For example, you can choose to have certain extensions only run on specific websites, or you can set them to only run when you click on them. Overall, the Extension Manager is a valuable tool for anyone who uses multiple extensions on their web browser. It makes it easy to find installed extensions, manage and customize the ones you already have, and improve your browser's performance. However, a big draw-back you can only have up to 10 rules!
Not working for me on Yandex Keep getting a warning message, I click allow to let it unload the extension, which it does, but it only allows me to unload one at a time and won't let me switch between the groups I set up.
Good. But what does the "lock" mean?
not support firefox
An effective extension manager. Grateful for your work. Thanks
does what is advertises, and does it well, good UI simple and easy. Kudos to makers.
Great extension, the rules are fantastic and help optimize the number of always-on extension that saves you ram and makes your browser slower. Thank you dev for updating and improving this. There is no extension like this anymore (use to be long time ago) where you could activate extension based on a certain website/s (defined by rules). LOVE IT
The idea of the extension is very good. But the "rule" actually has only two kinds of effects: 1. Disable the extension on all sites 2. Enable the extension on all sites
Has potential of being top extension manager. Have many issues with saving settings. Randomly has failures saving extension selection for groups. Also ran into group limit that reduces use. Had intermittent failures of the rules. Want to use, but have too many hits & misses to keep up multiple profiles I use.
Limited to nine rules without apparent reason (there is no paywall)
Beste extension manager out there! Will give 5 stars when more than 10 rules can be applied :)
The best extension for my productivity and functionality! Does it save my rules and group? Or is there a way to backup and sync them?
Great functionality and design
this is amazing
If you have the time to learn the system, and don't replace a lot of extensions frequently like I do, this is a great tool. It makes a good backup system to the "Disable Extensions Temporarily" Extension. I also need it because between some extension or resource conflicts, I need to control my extensions better. For the patient and technically inclined, this makes a wonderful tool to set your extensions according to your task.
Great tool! Thanks.
It has many features and is customizable especially when customizing the URL rules when extensions are enabled or disabled.
Looks POTENTIALLY good, EXCEPT IT DOESN'T WORK ... ie. The shortcut (in Chrome's Browser window (alongside other extensions) just shows blank when I rollover it. Rendering it useless ?
In settings, Group, General ... 1. Put a grouped indicator on any icon that has already been grouped, ideally the name of its group in very small letters. 2. Have the app automatically put ungrouped icons in an ungrouped category. 3. Add an option to show or hide any or all grouped or ungrouped icons to make it easier to find any icons you missed grouping. 4. If an icon has been renamed in the Name section, use that rename for the icon in the Group section. 5. In addition to clicking a group name and clicking on icons for that group, allow the option to drag and drop icons onto group names, while eliminating that icon from the general pool and now showing it as a list under its group name. 6. All these are meant to make your app more visual and appealing. If done, when a user is in the Group section, at a glance, would see grouped icons under their group name and ungrouped icons only, in the general pool, with the abbreviations that make sense to them. 7. When clicks on your toolbar icon to show the list of grouped extensions, I would rather those extension context options, always be showing.
I wish if only this extension was an improvement upon SimpleExtManager, by using a close UI and having some of the features while also making it possible to interact with extensions popup instead of just disabling enabling them... (which can part of a three dot menu next to every extension icon to avoid erroneous interactions) I can work closely with you on the features that needs to be implanted and how to improve the overall design...
the only reason i used this is to remove my extenions cuz i have 1000 extenions
Loved it for quick enable and disable option, Import export, reset, fixed extension and rules option
Whenever I turn an extension off or on, I have to login again. it's really annoying for certain premium subscription extensions I have, and while I'm suspecting the blame is on google here, it just makes this extension not functional to me.
very very good tool, and well designed.. one question only, is there a way to click the extension to use it's functions, not just enable and disable it.. not sure if it's possible, but it will be very handy..
Hi, Hope you're well Thanks for extension, and open sourcing! As a user I want to: * use (optional) list view, for group management and tooltip, so I can see extension name, whether it's enabled in incognito etc. - grid view nice look but not practical * enable simultaneous groups, so I can combine groups (e.g. "privacy", "security" and "tool" extension groups but not "social") If you're reading and: * agree, then please vote up (e.g. +1, like), or; * disagree, then please vote down (e.g. -1, dislike) - I'd love to know why? If there's a more suitable place to create issues then please let me know If you have any issues (e.g. questions/queries) then happy to help Hope to hear back Keep up great work! Yours hopefully
Really amazing extension. Would be nice if when you click on the extension it launches instead of disabling it. Would be easier as only one extension would be pinned unlike having 5 extensions pinned
I like that it's fast, however the UI/UX is not for me. I want to be able to trigger the extension by clicking on it from the manager, and this doesn't allow that.
This extension's source code does way more than manage your extensions. Even a cursory skimming of the source code shows that it has references to these sites: • stats.g.doubleclick.net - doubleclick is one of the web's oldest user-tracking sites • ampcid.google.com - api for assigning unique IDs to web users • www.google.com/ads/ga-audiences - ad serving It also calls Navigator.sendBeacon, "intended to be used for sending analytics data to a web server". In short, it talks to other sites on the internet. Why? Ask the author. I also found a function that does something only 1% of the time, randomly. Why would an extension manager need to do something only very seldomly, at random? That's what you do when you don't want what you're doing to be noticed. The extension also has code to detect https, ftp, and mailto links. Why does an extension manager need to do that? It also has what looks like event handlers for mousedown, keyup, and submit. Also, worth mentioning: I had to use an automated javascript "pretty-printer", because the code was all on one line and minified to the point of obfuscation, with almost all variable names being meaningless single or double-letter names. It's exceedingly difficult to see what's going on, which always makes me suspicious. Me? I've uninstalled it with prejudice. You? Well, you do you. But seriously, uninstall it.
Works but the UI is poor - no names next to extensions, and the mouseover blocks adjacent extensions.
Nice extension, it really helps to handle extensions. Would be nice to have a better control of UI scaling as the default one (100%) is quite big on larger monitors (>24'')
This was may last chance to disable some extensions on certain sites, but the feature " turn extensions on and off according to different websites" not worked for me at all. :(
Pretty weird.. At first look, everything was good then I noticed that my two adblock extensions were not activated by default as I asked the extension. I put them under the fixed group. whenever i visit a website, it is not activated, As soon as i click on this extension, they appear.. i don't know why.. but it is very weird, and it appears only with adblock extensions, the others one works pretty well.. weird..
A clear winner in this category
It NEEDS tool tips! 它需要工具提示!
Provide a button to enable/disable "allow in incognito' or if this is not possible than provide a button which open extension's manage page
default group should activate current enabled extensions by default
Good but if possible i would like to disable per site per tab too (disabled on site on tab, active when switching to other tabs with other sites without closing the tab). if at all possible.
Liking this one.. mostly does what I need it to do that others don't- Except for one gripe: The enable/disable groups is one at a time. Wouldn't it make more sense if you could toggle multiple groups? Like each group has an on/off? Please incorporate this!!
This is malware! I get redirects to other websites. I lost a week to understand that this is the right extension that has this problem! I just installed it in another browser and after few hours it starts doing this! Do not install!
Great Extension But is it possible to turn on groups of extensions via the rules? It would definitely be easier to just select which group should activate on which site so you dont have to put every extension as rule..
excellent. i really needed an extension to switch between a grouped of them
Seems to be a pointless extension when Google Chrome have already added the extension link (Jigsaw thing) already on the top of chrome for you to get at your extensions.
The only Chrome extension you will ever need :)
Best extension manager I have ever used on a Chromebook. Now, I can quickly launch apps and deactivate extension right form from the Chrome menu. Saves me from resorting to the system launcher every time. Keep the good work.
Tried every extension here to manage extensions, this is the only one that works.
love
Can't get the rules to work. I'm trying to disable a specific extension automatically on specific sites. Tested a few sites and no change. It's not clear what the difference between 'Disable Only' and 'Disable When' is either but I tried both.
Organizing extensions is useful, but I have several extensions that need to be clicked to function. How is this done while using Extension Manager? It seems that clicking a managed extension can only disable/enable that extension. I've tried using all manner of modifier key while clicking, but have not found a way to trigger an extension's behavior. So this manager is not so useful for me.
All I want to do is see a list of exts instead of having to dropdown. this has nothing to do with that. why bother?
You realize this is a Chinese app, yes?
How did it switch off all my extensions?
Good
limit rules to 10
Awesome tool! However, comparing to Noobox, this extension can only support 10 rules, which is not enough for the daily use.... please consider release this limitation for users!
- turn extension on/off like a butter - save lot of time - quick - great interface - can backup settings in file
Simply, the best extension manager currently available. (I've tested all of them) Pros: - Killer featrue: rules that can automatically enable/disable required extensions basesd on visiting URL. Cons: - Not open source :( Advices: - Add here a link to the webpage of this extension. - Change category. It isn't a Search Tool.
This extension seems to have a lot of PROMISE but the major flaw is that there is very little instructions. And what little instructions there are are very poorly written. It's clear that the developer's first language is not English--and I'm not knocking them because I only speak English--but they still need to then write instructions and hand them to an English speaker to have them translated. Or they could shoot a video with an overlay of "Here's how you..." And some scroll over text that explains buttons and fields would do wonders to make it easier to learn. Here's a video with more suggestions: https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uB7E2N
Works great, and it's pretty easy to use. I love that I can have it auto-activate certain extensions on the sites they're needed on, such as a YouTube extension only activating while I'm on YouTube. However, I haven't been able to get the auto-disable function to work. I have a rule set up exactly like the auto-activate ones, only instead of "Enable When" I have "Disable When" selected, and a list of extensions to disable.
I may be doing something wrong, but I manage to group the extensions, but for some reason when I select a group only a few of the grouped extensions are present and accessible but no all. I need to go back to chrome settings to PIN them back to the bookmark bar
It seems like it could be an amazing extension BUT there is very little instructions and absolutely NO support. Like I love the idea of only having certain extensions running on certain sites. For example, I have a bunch of Amazon research extensions that I obviously don't need running when I'm not on Amazon. But I can't figure out how to enable this feature.
cooooooooooooooooooooooooool
I have had it for a long time and it is super easy. I use it way more than I thought I would. Great extension!
I'm pleasantly surprised. Very easy to setup compare to the 5 others I just tried. Still would like to hide extensions that are "always-on" and add them to a seperate drop-down button to toggle (maybe right click option) Either way I have yet to find an extension like this one. Good Job
Amazing plugin. As an SEO and digital marketer, I used 20+ plugins for SEO and 40-50 for personal. My system is slowed to a crawl so I have to manually disable/enable each and every time I do client work. This extension is amazing. Now I have four tab categories for specific SEO work. Love it!
:P 5 stars, very nice extension
Similar to the popular "Extensify". It's a good start, however, there are some incomplete features. For example, the "rules" feature is not working properly. You would expect that rules specify which extensions to be used for specified domains. However, this does not work because once you navigate to a new domain, the extensions remain from the rules (rather than returning to the original set of extensions). There are options designed to get around this (remove extensions upon closing); however, this doesn't work in the real-world setting. To test this, simply add open/close rules go to a URL matching a rule; the extensions will activate. Next, visit a page that does not match a rule -- the same extensions remain activated (even if using the disable on close rules). There is a much simpler and error-free way of handlings this. Rules that enable extensions should be the only extensions enabled for those URL's; all others should be disabled. The same goes for the disable rule (all others would be automatically enabled). Finally, any time a rule is not active, the original extension list should be invoked, just as they were prior to visiting the rule-matching URL's. If this rule-feature is fixed, and the order of extensions can be set explicitly (versus alphabetical -or- frequency only) .. it will be beat-out the more popular "Extensify" solution.
Works like magic!
I recently switched to this extension from NooBoss. I prefer the interface in this extension, however there are 2 features which are missing from it. 1. In Settings, there should be an option to Search/Filter extensions/app list (by name or type or group) 2. NooBoss allows users to submit useful extensions and keeps a database which is reported to the user on a per domain basis, Additionally, it would be a good idea to explain the 4 different rule actions (the difference between 'only' and 'when' in this context can be a bit unclear)
greate extension!
[edit] seems like permissions went back to 'When you click the extension', or at least i use this setting and it's working like a charm. awesome extensions, using it every day.[/edit] i loved this extension and used it every day. but since the last update it needs additional permissions so the extension "can read and change site data on all sites". why is this suddenly necessary? it would be great if the developer could address this somewhere, as a lot of users are sceptical what is happening with their data, especially if it seems the developer seems to sit in china and does not disclose additional information about the company. i personally will keep the extension deactivated for now and will soon look for a replacement. thank you
Pretty good! Lots of room to grow and perfect itself. Nonetheless - awesome innovative start.
I like the idea of this but why does this extension need access to all data on every webpage...that smells. I'd also love to be able to (de)active extensions using ONLY the keyboard but that doesn't seem to be possible.
I have several devices which use Chrome and I don't want all my extensions loading on all of them. This helps set up profiles that I can pick and choose between devices, plus the ability to have "always on" extensions is useful too.
Very nifty
"Locking" doesn't do anything at all on some apps, what does it even mean? (Just tested with the most popular english language spelling and grammar tool with Google docs). just installed a different extensions manager that simply closes extensions and they are effectively disabled temporarily. I highly recommend that you guys shift from a "locking" paradigm to an actually working "closing" one.
Use this all day everyday. Great extension.
very awesome
The best of the bunch, for true power users * set rules for activating and deactivating extensions by url wildcards * rename extensions to easier brows and search your extension list * make profiles for easier switching between work scenarios * sort inactive extensions by name or by inactivation statistics
Loved it!
awesome!!!
Nice Extention but since it connectes to this website > tj.extfun.com < all the time for no good reason it's suspecios to me anddeserve one star for spying on us
Granted, it has room for improvement, but it gets the job done and doesn't utterly frustrate like other similar extensions.
Fast, compact and easy to use extension. ?
This is a must have extension! It keeps the toolbar clean and chrome fast. I can now install whatever extension I need without having to worrying about bloating or slowing down my browser. I have set up preset where I the only extension I need are on and rules that automatically enable an extension given some rules
It is a good extension but there is a request from this extension to a Chinese website and it's not necessary .. so I think i'ts spyware or something!
It would be nice if there was an FAQ or tutorial section for those of us not super familiar with the possible benefits of using an extension like this. Additionally, while trying to locate some more in depth info, I obviously clicked the Support section at the top of this page. There's a link that states it will take you to the developers website - however it does not. It links back to the main section FOR THIS EXTENSION.
This extension starts to redirect the background tabs to its advertisement pages. Disable and remove it.
the best extension if you use extensions :)
*Note: Extension must (still) be installed to write a review Worked fine until recently, icon list is blank now. Uninstalling based on recent PRIVACY WARNINGs in Feedback.
Great extension, but the rules feature (enable extension only for certain sites) seems to only work half of the time. It's a great concept and I'd really like it to be fully working in the future.
This is a great extension. I like that I can urn off the extensions that I don't often use. It really helped speed up my chromebook.
PRIVACY WARNING! This extension has been taken over and it's been updated to read all your website data and history. On March 6th 2020 this extension was updated to have access to all websites you visit and read your full browsing history. No explanation from the developer/company has been provided. There is no change in functionality that would explain the need for this data. The source code for the extension is intentionally obfuscated making it hard to analyze. This extension's website used to just to a github repo, but the website seems to now be https://extensions-manager.com/. On that site's privacy policy they even say that they do release data to "trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, products and services, conducting our business, or servicing you... However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses." So they do state they share your identifiable personal information with for the purposes of "conducting business". Also they share non-personally identifiable with even more 3rd parties, but provide no details on how this is de-anonymized. There's many examples of companies failing to de-anonymize data sufficiently. This Chrome extension began life as an open source side project by Chevion Lu and its source was available on github. The source code has been taken down. It now seems be under new management which is stealthily siphoning off your data for unclear purposes. The anonymity of the company behind it makes me all the more suspect.
DO NOT USE!!!!! They needlessly added ability to read and modify ALL of your private data when it (and many other extension managers) always worked perfectly having the obvious "ability to control extensions" Reaaaaaaaally don't think Google segmented that as its own permission set from all our site data because you guys would need both to function........ I switched to "custom chrome extension manager" after finally realizing what happened here and oh my freaking god. Even if not for the sketchy data mining, I wish I'd looked into other ones earlier. The icon only approach is awful at a certain point while others give names/details and whatever groupings you assign.
The product itself is decent and solidly made. My only major reservation is the country of origin, China. This isn't a rascist statement because my view is not unfounded. There have been many stories of hacking committed by entities, directly financed by the Chinese government. With this said, how can you allow an extension to obtain access to your private, valuable information. Many things can go wrong. Until the Chinese government desists in actively subverting, I really can't install Chinese scripts. The same goes with Russian software. I mean it's been definitely proven they compromised US elections. I don't think people realize how crazy that is.
Loved it, very handy and helps me managing all my extensions from one place!
Useful, beautiful, wonderful!!!
I used to love this extension and used it every day. However, starting around 3/6/2020, it needs additional permissions so the extension "can read and change site data on all sites." This is unacceptable. The extension worked for years without this permission. Be careful. I suggest uninstalling this extension until this permission is no longer required. I'm sad that I have to find a replacement, but I am exploring other options in the Chrome Web Store. Alternative Extension Managers that I have found are: Custom Chrome - Extension Manager Chrome Extension Manager by cloudHQ
UE is not user-friendly. I had to play with the the buttons (click on buttons without knowing their function) to figure out how to make it work. Dark List View (icon and word is best) - will most likely keep. Thanks.
Was good but I'm concerned about the permissions change. Deleting it.
Why does this app suddenly want permission to "read and change all your data on the websites you visit"? I liked the app before, but this seems dangerous and unnecessary.
Excellent!!!
Great extension except I don't trust it anymore due to the "read and change site's data" permission. This seems completely unnecessary since your extension also "runs offline" what are you doing that would need this permission. Seems dishonest.
