Original ideas for the script were great(from 2009-2013), but the site has changed so much that it is now defunct: the shortcut keys are invalid, the move to list function is invalid, there is no configuration section tab in settings. The only function that still works is to replace the horizontal tabs on the default RTM GUI and replace it with a vertical list on the left side of the page, which doesn't really format well with the rest of the way RTM is currently formatted. I really wish the developer still took interest in the Ext.

Thank you! The vertical menu is awesome.

The screen layout still has some issues (sometimes everything looks fine, other times you have to re-load the tab to get it all to play nice). I know nothing about how to fix this, but you'd think someone could come up with an improvement to make this even a little bit better... It looks like nothing has been changed since 2013 - has the developer lost interest? Could someone else step up and take this on? Again, I know absolutely nothing about how to fix the issue with the "details box." Any ideas?

This extension is critical for GTD followers that want to use one list per project.

A tremendous improvement -- it's so much more useful to have your lists displayed top to bottom. I find the default tabs across the top to be very hard to work with. As I've seen others mention, there is an issue that prevents the column of lists showing along the left side of the screen when RTM is first loaded. If I do a screen refresh, my A Bit Better RTM format is restored, but I would think this isn't how it's intended to work.

Really getting to work well with RTM and this extension makes it much better than the tabbed 'vanilla' version. Please, does anyone know how I can configure so that when I drag the lists to display in a particular order, for that not to reset to an alphabetical order on my next visit?

When it works it's great, but lately the box on the right side gets pushed to the bottom of the page making it virtually useless.

Awesome Sauce!!! A few little tweaks that take RTM from good to great. My personal favourites are the ability to hide some lists, and keyboard shortcuts to move tasks to a new list.

This extension improves the user interface of RTM significantly for me. It moved the tabs to the side, instead of being staggered on top. This is especially helpful when you have lots of lists. One odd behavior, however, is that it only works if you load or refresh the page with it visible. If you refresh it and switch to another tab before it's visible, or load saved tabs, it scrambles the page.

Love it! Unique URLS! Just wish I could find an extension that will quickly link Gmail threads to a task.

This is a great extension to RTM. One thing I would love to see when showing the results list from a smart search is to include the list name the task is a member of, after the tags. This is done with the iOS version, and would be the icing on the cake.

Awesome little tweaks - thanks a lot!

I really like this app. I wasn't even going to use RTM anymore b/c it wouldn't let me make my own custom lists. This app saved it. Thanks!

I love this extension, but the left drop-down stopped working a few days ago. No amount of refreshing will make it come back. I even tried deleting the extension and re-adding it. I can't find any way to report a bug, so I'm writing this here. Please fix!!

excellent, makes RTM even easier to use, particularly the lists on the left

Great JS for RTM! but some times the right pannel dropped down, but not the right. Anyway, it's a new experience for RTM.

I really like how the tabs run down the left side of the screen, works better with my brain

Been using this for years, either via this extension, the Firefox extension, or the Greasemonkey style back in the day. Couldn't imagine RTM without it, and I only have a couple dozen lists. That said, it consistently doesn't load without multiple refreshes. This used to be bad, got better for a year or so, and has gotten bad in the past couple of months again.

Used to enjoy this, but lately it is causing RTM to throw an error about not being able to reach the server. Once I disabled the extension, the error went away.

Just brilliant. It makes RTM so much more usable.

This is absolutely a must-have, though lately it hasn't been loading for me. Sometimes refreshing 2-3 times gets it to load, and other times it won't load at all :( Maybe it's time for an update?

This fixes RTM's ugly tabs and makes the whole UI feel cleaner and friendlier. Having tried numerous Greasemonkey styles for RTM, I find that this seamlessly extension integrates the best features with a few additional refinements, and is certainly updated more often. This is a must-try for any Remember The Milk user.

Alleluia! Saves you 2-3 clicks for just about every action. The standard RTM UI is puzzling and this helps untangle the ball of yarn.

This extension does not work in Google Chrome v23.0.1271.101. When might this issue be resolved?

Andrew Maury December 8th, 2012

Great extension, but it's not working for me on Chrome Version 23.0.1271.95. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. That fixed it once, but it stopped working again. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix it this time.

App seems to have a bug! Great in theory but re-ordering lists doesn't work! When I try to drag and drop it says 'move 1 task' but just goes straight back to original position :-( If anyone has a suggestion I'd love to hear it..

The extension is great. As many reviewers, I couldn't go back to using RTM on a desktop computer without it. It does still have some issues, that require reloading the site for it to display properly.

Bruno May 29th, 2012

Awesome extension. There seems to be a bug when navigating in the list panel with J, K, O but Ctrl-G is even faster so it's not much of a problem.

Tremendous improvement and added flexibility to RTM, which has a great organizational featureset but weak and clunky UI by default. Occasional display glitches in the plugin but are always fixed by refreshing the page; I can't imagine using RTM without this and wish they would incorporate this functionality into the official product.

I rely on this extension with remember the milk. It has a few bugs right now. The keyboard shortcut to move from one list to another doesn't work and when I add a list with the keyboard shortcut, you have to refresh the browser. I'm really hoping that those can be fixed soon ( -:

I love this extension; can't use RTM's web interface without it. However, it appears that it is broken as of Chrome 17. RTM will completely refresh from time to time, sometimes in response to user actions. RTM also seems to hang on adding a task and says it can't contact the server when using this. UPDATE - Seems to have improved with v0.0.2.11.

I love this extension and have been using it for a long time. However, recently I have also started to get strange refreshes like Vamshi, mostly when changing lists. Please have a look; it's really causing headaches!

Great script. But with the current dev version o f it keep refreshing the whole page once in a while, especially when some list name is clicked.

Great extension although my lists are not staying in the order I dragged them into. They revert to alphabetical with a page reload.

This plugin is the reason I still use RTM. The RTM team should take some inspiration from it ;-)

As a long-time RTM user and GTD aspirant this extension has been a god-send. The tabs on the left feature alone is awesome. It makes it much easier to quickly find a list and switch to it, and uses less screen real-estate. Excellent work!
