Used to work, but now always gets stuck at 30%. It's not even an infinite-loading page like Facebook, it's a static website. What gives? Looking for alternatives now.

It worked once, now every full page screenshot I want to make is stuck at 53%.

Doesn't get to 100% for full page capture, don't waste your time until they fix it.

Simply doesn't capture the full page. Only captures what's visible on screen.

FOR THOSE WHO DO ACTUALLY LIKE THIS EXTENSION AND WANT TO USE IT----PLEASE IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSTALLING GO TO THE SITE SETTINGS PAGE OF THE OPTIONS FOR THIS PAGE & DISABLE ACCESS TO PAYMENT HANDLERS & PROTECTED CONTENT - THEY ARE SET TO ALLOW BY DEFAULT DESPITE ONLY CLAIMING TO NEED DOWNLOAD MANAGEMENT PERMISSIONS. Read below for more information: This extension is dishonest about the permissions it requires to operate. It claims to only be able to manage your downloads, but once installed, when you go to check the permissions the extension has - by default it has enabled access to things like payment handlers on all websites you visit as well as access to protected content -- neither of which are required to allow this extension to perform the function it purportedly claims to do. While the actual full page screenshotting DOES work, the fact that it has complete access to payment handlers and protected content on websites is very misleading at best & downright malicious in intent, at worst. As a result of this, I believe my identity has been compromised after I noticed unauthorized charges on my cardafter using it with this extension enabled (enabled, not even active on the payment pages I was on) to make purchases online a few times. This prompted be to then view the extension properties & check the permissions for what parts of a webpage that it had complete access to. There may even be additional nefarious potential lurking within the app, but those are just the two obviously glaring examples from my quick perusal through the permissions page for this extension, which would otherwise be very useful & I would rate it highly were it not for the fact that it can take your payment card data right out from under your nose. The fact that this extension is actually on the "featured" extensions list does not bode well for the extension store's commitment to security to begin with. Please get this removed asap, or inform the developer that he needs to change the default settings before he can allow further downloads.

It does not take full page screenshots It does not have useful UI

It's not a true complete screen capture. It basically does the exact same thing as Windows Snipping Tool. I don't need 2 Snipping Tools. I needed something to capture everything on screen and everything off screen. I found a tool that does this.

Great extension, it was frustrating at first (getting stuck on random websites) but once I increased the delay in settings to 600ms it started capturing without freezing.

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it begins to take a full-page screenshot and then stops. I have no explanation for this.

useless I was confused by where does this plugin saves the shots. after 5 minutes I realized it does not save the shots at all and you have to drag and drop the shots directly from extension to the app you want. (this was mentioned in the last slide of help, terrible UX) when I drag my shot into telegram, my telegram freezed for some minutes, and then it just pasted about 50 long messages of meaningless strings (telegram still in freezing state) Removing this plugin after 10 wasted minutes of my life

Works perfect for me. I noticed some bad reviews... why not. But the issues described where visible to me when I tried to make the app go faster via settings. Change "Screenshot scroll delay" to something longer than a few ms. Maybe this is an issue of slow responding webpages or my slow computer, but when I made it longer, it worked beautifully.

comes in very handy to save confirmation numbers, w/o printing also its the one extension that truly works.

Does not work at all. Freezes all the time at about half the page. Not a single screenshot was possible.

1/2 junk! never goes past 9% of the page! moving on! but, that 1/2 junk is worth less in itself, install paint dot net, hit Print Screen, and open pint dot net paste into new image, and you have more options!!! I assume it's an abandoned extension from all the similar reviews!

It's full webpage feature doesn't work.

This used to be great, but it doesn't work anymore. Almost never seems to finish the page, the app freezes and you can't even use the portion of the screenshot it managed to capture. Now I thought it was going well, sometime it gets a shorter page, and wow they're not even in the saves there. It's not at capacity. Looking for alternatives...

Would hang in the process of capturing my screenshot. Moved onto another extension, and it did the job with no issues. Do not recommend.

Used to be great, now doesn't take a shot of the whole screen which is disappointing.

iframes make this impossible to use, even when opened in another tab. immediately not worth download.

Didn't work for me. I'm trying to grab screenshots of web pages on an embedded device, and this extension just grabbed what was visible on the screen, it didn't show the pieces currently off the screen. Maybe the web pages are formatted weird, but it didn't do anything I couldn't do with the Snip tool for my use case.

It's awesome but it lacks one crucial feature. If there is an option to copy the image into the clipboard as the Windows built-in snipping does it'd be perfect.

It usually works, except that it gets stuck midway in some pages (like Facebook, after expanding some comments).

Takes the screenshot of what you see on your screen, but don't capture long pages in full... misleading

I really like Screenshot. I find many different uses for it that I didn't expect. Glad to have it. Two and a half years later-Jan 12 2022-and I still like this extension very much. I use Screenshot more than any for, well, screenshots. I truly recommend it.

Useless application, not supported for multi page

Takes a huge screenshot of the entire page, but unlike its competitors, there is no option to save as other formats, like PDF for instance.

Used to work amazing but nowadays i cannot capture full page screenshot only snippit funktion works

Didn't fulfill its job, kept freezing half way down a page I was trying to copy from. Used "GoFullPage - Full Page Screen Capture" and worked as expected, try that one if you have trouble using this plugin for your targeted page.

As another user (Ana Ondreicsik) mentioned, if the capture is freezing before it completes, try increasing the "Screenshot scroll delay" in the extension's settings. I changed it from 200ms to 500ms and now it captures full pages again.

Not working. Freezes at 12% and doesn't finish.

Did not work... it stayed at 57% complete and the webpage was super short.

Great extension, recently started acting up and would get stuck around 20%, it was not taking full page screenshots. I changed the following in the settings and now it works again: - Screenshot scroll delay: 500ms - Static header/footer up to: 0%

Stopped working a few days ago... Stalls halfway through screenshot and wont complete. Before this it was a 5 star extension.

Good app for full page screenshot! It will be great if we can customise to the folder where the downloaded files are saved.

Positive: Nice alternative to Gofullpage because you can set the scroll delay! Negative: Didnt scroll inner scrollable elements (tried on Clickup)

Works so far for me! The only thing is the saving is really odd, and you cant crop it to our liking before you save it, which would be a huge plus in my opinion. In order to save you have to right click the thumbnail of your screenshot and then hit "save as." Odd, but not too wildly inefficient

The best screen capture extension with additional provision to capture box/frame content within a webpage. Great!!!

Resolution is too low for more than the a couple of pages. Either needs an option for adjusting resolution or needs to automatically go to higher resolutions based on the number of pages (or both).

Please add PDF Version Download Option.

Great little app. I use it for screen grabbing long emails mostly. I'm glad it works when I open the email individually but lots of emails don't have an option to be opened in the browser. I wish there was a way I could still grab the long email without the crops (all in the browser).

One of the best screenshot tools I've ever used. It captures the whole screen onto one large .png and stores it internally. I'm rating it 4 stars thought as I no longer use it due to the decline in quality. When I initially installed it it would take my screenshots with a 1900px width but now it'll only take 1500px widths. I don't know how to fix this and their website didn't show any solutions. It you want an alternative use GoFullPage

Works well, but annoying to click 'save as' every screenshot and I don't trust deleting from extension storage because I don't want to somehow delete from PC.

Appears to be perfectly functional but inconvenient due to requiring multiple clicks just to take a full page screenshot. I do not care about the options after the screenshot is taken, I don't care about the 'gallery' feature (I can just go to my folders and see what's there), nor do I care about partial-page screenshots. By default, clicking the button should take a full page screenshot and automatically prompt you to save it to your computer. Partial screenshots can be achieved with the snipping tool in Windows and its Linux counterpart. I am not sure about Mac and other operating systems, though. There is no setting to make pressing the button start the screencapture and automatically prompt you to save the screenshot. In short: make full page screenshots a more streamline process. The extra features are bloat. However, I've noticed this app takes the most accurate screenshots of any I've used, so it would be the best app for its intended purpose if it made the process more convenient.

I love this extension and use it Daily, I am a developer and I am constantly creating documentation and communicating to my clients using screenshots created with this tool. I also use it to grab an entire page as a frame of reference before making changes to a web app. A+ Rating!

Need better instructions and info on how it works. Since it was an extension of the app by the company that created it, I assumed it would have the ability to automatically lay the file in the collaboration board at the very least since I can't chose files from Drive to place in there....??? Why would I want to have to save my items from Drive or your Screenshot tool to my Desktop to Upload it to this board? This type of app is a pretty standard item on any OS. Honestly a big disappointment because I thought it would save some time but I guess it is free.
