Roll20 sucks, but D&D Beyond doesn't have a virtual tabletop built-in, which makes this extension invaluable. But please, get rid of the "No VTT found" warning. This confuses new players and sometimes I just want to look at my character sheet while I'm not playing.

I've been using this for almost a year to link my DnDBeyond and Roll20 accounts. Works like a charm, and makes it so much easier to have fun gaming. Thank you, developer!

Best thing ever combines simplicity of dnd beyond with the simplicity of r20 and my favorite part is you can customize it AND use it for dnd beyond monster stat blocks love this as a dm

Absolutely love it. But, can you please add the ability to add custom websites to list of available sites? Like, I use https://www.worldanvil.com/ to craft my campaigns. all my monsters are stat'd out there. I also use https://donjon.bin.sh/5e/monsters/ and obsidianportal.com If i could choose to ADD sites to the lists of sites with which this extensions fuctions, that'd help a lot!

this changed my D&D life! i didn't think this kind of integration was possible but I was WRONG. beyond20 is a total game changer for me

A definite "must have" extension! Buy these devs a coffee if you can... this is the type of freeware an end-user like you or me can feel good about supporting ?

LOVE this add-on. My DM uses Astral Tabletop as it's easier to set up games on the fly than Roll20 and Foundry, and though it's easy to play your character once set up - it was not so easy to set up the character(s) in the first place. And of course - DnD Beyond excels at character creation. This has saved me SO much time and I cannot say enough about how awesome this is. This is the first functionality I've used that made me want to go be a Patreon to the developer because the money is worth the time I've saved. Thank you for this AMAZING extension!

Yessss! dndbeyond is the best for rolling dice easy and quickly. As a DM I get my players onto it so they find it easy to click without any detailed maths or tracking. As a player, it's much nicer than creating customised Roll20 macros. BUT, we all use Roll20 for our maps and battles and A/V. So this ties it together beautifully. Thanks so much, developers!!!

I hate writing macros in Roll20, this is such a simple way to make rolls without all of the prep work that is needed with macros. Thank you!

I've been using this extension for a little while and it's been fairly good to me so far. I did have a recent issue when malwarebytes reset a few things on my extension and really messed it up, but reinstalling the extension fixed it.

Spent well over 100 hours in Roll20 clicking from tab to tab and typing in the rolls, then needing to clarify what it is I'm rolling for. Beyond20 cuts that right down. Everything I could ask for in integrating D&D Beyond and Roll20, and then some. Definitely need to check it out if you're an online D&D player.

I heard about this from a friend and figured what the hell. I was surprised with how incredibly useful this is. Easy to use and many times over the course of my first session using it had me and my players remarking about how convenient it was. It is so well integrated it feels like an official add on from either Roll20 or DnDBeyond.

Makes life so much easier if you don't want to waste time doing all the manual rolling or math. Saves time, saves you from a headache, and works like a charm. This is especially true if you are a Druid who wild shapes into animals with complicated mechanics, just press the button and the plug in does all the work. A must have for sure.

This seems excellent. My friends and I have been playing on Roll20 for some time now without any extensions, the ability to use actions straight from a dndbeyond character sheet rather than switching tabs constantly is going to be a game changer.

This works great. Combines all the great stuff from DDB, including your character sheet, and connects your rolls to the Beyond20 VTT.

Been using this addon every now and then and find it very useful. I still get stuck between having stuff on DnDBeyond or Roll20. DnDBeyond I have purchased books and find the character creation and use better.. but of course when need a VTT then despite some BETA options in DnDBeyond Roll20 is just so much better... so being able to link the 2 like this is great.

Awesome, a must have for Roll20 games!

Recently the beyond20 extension has changed what my rolls look like in Roll20. They now look like roll20 sheet rolls rather than what dndbeyond sheet rolls used to look like. Any idea how to fix it?

Fantastic Extension! It's so simple and easy to use and integrates the two websites as if the developers had done it themselves. Highly Recommend to anyone who use Roll20 and DnDBeyond. Only minor thing I would like is a way to modify the chat output in Roll20 using the PowerCards API. I'm not sure if that's possible or not?

Using this extension is so much easier then storing your character on Roll20 and DnDBeyond. Now I just need to keep my character updated on DnDBeyond and make sure the extension is installed. If you have checked out this extension, you need to do so now. It will change you VTT life. Hope this helps and happy gaming.

My friends and I use this extension to roll straight from our character sheet in D&D Beyond while we use Roll20 as our VTT. Works great and has made our campaign run smoother and faster. I strongly recommend giving this extension a try.

Until dndbeyond can get their VTT or "VGS" going, this app is a must.

This is a great tool overall and makes using DNDBeyond with Roll20 a far less fiddly experience. Thanks for your work on it. One major frustration of recent versions, however, is the irritating modal dialog that pops up to tell me that "This is a new or recently leveled-up character sheet and Beyond20 needs to parse its information." - It hurts the UX enough that I find myself disabling Beyond20 until I'm about to actually play. Modal dialogs are awful. This doesn't need to be a modal dialog. Nothing in Beyond20 needs to be a modal dialog. A floating notification somewhere out of my way as a user should be all that's necessary to tell me to go to Features & Traits so that Beyond20 can parse the data there. This might not seem like a big deal; but some of us create many characters (or copies of characters) to experiment with builds or to design NPCs, and this modal gets in the way *far* too often (every new/copied character, every level change). Please remove it, and please, please don't add any more interruptive, modal dialogs to the UX. Otherwise, thanks for the great work on a great browser extension.

TLDR, this extension displays your rolls from your D&D Beyond character sheet into the chat of a VTT, like Roll 20. The convenience to show the DM your spell text, eliminate digital character sheet confusion, and simulate the in-person rolling so everyone gets to see is really nice. It only works as well as D&D Beyond, so all the weird stuff you still have to do manually. The BEST part about this is getting all the rules lawyers, mansplainers, and overly helpfuls off your back as a female player. My games are much more equal now that I'm using this, because I don't have to have my rolls or spells or competence questioned every round and we can just play.

I can't think of the words I need to praise this extension as much as I would like to. Suffice it to say that I require players to use it in games that I DM.

I wish I knew about this way sooner in life. This is a god-send. I would pay money for this extension if I had to.

New version is not working roll20

So helpful. Been introducing new players to D&D virtually and think they would have been turned off from calculating all their bonuses manually. This does a lot of heavy lifting so you can focus on playing.

Very helpful and simple for both DMs and players

I use this almost every week as a way to bridge character/monster sheets on D&D beyond with Roll 20 and it's practically perfect. I love how easily it integrates and even rolls dice on Roll20. The only thing you need to do to make it work is specify on Roll20 that you are using 5e as your character sheet type for the campaign.

I was really excited about the add-on but lack of support for Astral turned me away from it and looking for another solution. Roll20 is the past and Foundry is far too expensive and clunky.

I wish I'd found this 5 months ago (thanks Coronavirus) Now I no longer have to keep the not-so-great roll20 char sheet up to date with details about characters and just rely on D&D Beyond.

Liked it a lot, BUT as a DM, when I use DnDBeyond to make encounters, sometimes I want enemies hidden in the Fog of War and since it automatically shows my players the Turn Order with all the monsters, that kind of spoils the surprise. Could not find a way to turn it off so had to uninstall. :\

This is an amazing extension, adds exactly the sort of functionality that I need to run my games. Drastically easier to learn and use than any alternative I've looked at, including the directly supported Avrae bot.

I love this extension. It is simply amazing and has made my life a whole lot easier. I found it hard to make character sheets on roll20 but I recently found out about D&D Beyond. I loved them both equally but I wanted to use them together or interchangeably. I was searching around the internet and found this. I tried it, and it simply just works amazingly. Warning!: one thing that it needs to work on is weapon attacks, I'm not sure if it is just me or if it's a glitch, but me nor my players can share the weapon attacks (both the rolls to hit and damage rolls).

Game changer for me! Since the whole pandemic thing we decided to move the game online so my kids' friends can play (I mostly started DM'ing for my kids). This is a must use extension for anyone playing with D&D beyond and Roll20. By far the most useful and sexist chrome extension I've used in playing D&D. HIGHLY RECOMMANDED!

THIS is the most amazing extension I've ever downloaded. It works seamlessly with roll20 and all the dndbeyond character sheets I and my players use - literally everything on the character sheet can be sent to roll20 - including weird bonuses on homebrew magic items. This also now makes the Encounter builder on DnDbeyond useful since you can also roll right off any monster's stat block from DnDbeyond - including homebrew! This is what I've been searching for for so long!! Going to look for a way to donate money to this developer!

The best addon for playing on Roll20 ever! Both as a GM and as a player! It integrates with the monster pages as well as the players character sheets!

This works great! It essentially mirrors all the functionality that Roll20 has for character sheets, but you can use your DNDBeyond character, as well as your compendium content!

So I believe this can be amazing, and it's likely my troubles are my fault for not clicking something I should... But everytime I send a roll from DndBeyond to Roll20 two problems occur: A) The rolls only occur on the 3D Dice, nothing but my name appears in the chat... not sure why. But that way no modifiers are visible, making most of the usefulness of the plugin seem wasted. Also, everytime I let it roll damage, it rolls double damage. I'm not rolling criticals and "force Crit" is off... So i cant seem to make that work. My GM ist using it yet, I'm the only one with it on, but that doesnt feel like it should cause those problems. Any fixes? ----- I looked it up and it does appear to be caused by the DM not using the system, I'll ask them to try and if it all works out I'll change the review!

Literally exactly what I needed. I'd been hesitant to run online games cause I had so much saved on DDB and wanted a way to play that on a VTT easily and this extension just works so well and easily and just... I can't say enough good things about it

Honestly such a useful and reliable extension. I'm surprised by how perfectly it works and it saves so much time. And the developers had the foresight to add the ability to add custom mods so if you do need to roll a feat that hasn't got a setting in the app, you can just type that in. Used it for three games I haven't experienced anything lacking that I need to use something else for.

This is an absolute game changer for me and all my D&D playing nerds. Especially in these troubling times. It's has really helped speed up play and made it much easier on new players. Thank you so much for making and sharing it! My friends and I love it!

As switching to playing online during the whole isolation it works beautifully and could not give it more praise. Works on every page on beyond that has stats/actions and dice rolls pretty much.

As a DM who frequently uses DndBeyond for character sheet and monster management and Roll20 for VTT and dice rolling, this extension has been a lifesaver! No more need to manually import all the monsters/NPCs from dnd beyond to Roll20!

This extension is amazing. The ease of integration is mind-boggling. Your FAQ is comprehensive and answered every question I had and then proceeded to reveal all the features I never knew I needed, like automatic initiative tracker population (my DM thanks you) or the sending of spell information. This is a high calibre quality of life extension that I would not hesitate recommending to anyone wishing to streamline their 5e VTT gaming.

This is a great add on - as a DM it makes my life so much easier and ive even got my players to install it since they can roll stuff straight out of their sheets (avoiding a labourious task on Roll20 of putting everything in) Many thanks for building such a great tool!

This plugins is an absolute godsend. My players can now manage characters in DnDBeyond and not have to do it in Roll20. Since DnDBeyond added the encounter manager, setting up and running Roll20 combat is super, super fast and efficient. I've never looked up a plugin's developer in order to donate money, but I sure as hell did for this one.

I've played D&D 25 years. This is a list of the biggest improvements to my ability to play and run games. 1) Employment to afford books. 2) The first accessible online VTT's. 3) This plugin.

Hard to know what to say beyond what others have already said. This works and it works perfectly. I use it with both Roll20 and Foundry VTT and both work great!

This extension is absolutely amazing! It has made me so much more willing to utilize roll20 with all that I have invested into D&DBeyond. I just wish I could hide the monster name's when they attack in roll20.

This has become my favorite extension and bridges so many gaps between roll20 and DNDbeyond. I would love if there was a tutorial or instructions on how to port information from DNDbeyond into Roll20 so that more information could be carried over. I'd love to know how to put information, cards, text, and whatnot over into roll20 other than just rolling attacks and damage. 10/10 one of the best apps/extensions I have ever come across.

I absolutely love this integration! I first used it with Roll20 for a bit, but since I am supporting the FoundryVTT now (am very excited about it) and have finally figured out how to get Beyond20 to work with that VTT, I am looking forward to seeing this grow in popularity and functionality.

I LOVE this, it fixes everything I didn't like about the defunct "beyond roll 20" extension and works perfectly. Being able to click on a monster and attack from their dnd beyond stat block is without a doubt my favorite feature. Actually works better than the real roll 20 monster clickable stat blocks

This extension completely mitigates Roll20's ridiculous resistance to allowing direct compatibility with DnDBeyond. It works for all stats, all attacks/spells, all check rolls, and as far as I can tell, all items as well. Fantastic and simple. Please give this the recognition it deserves, as I know many like me are very reluctant to use Roll20 due to very limited options with spending even more money, and the way you have to add things to their sheets in overly convoluted and complicated when you're new to the game. Even with experience and proficiency in Roll20, I STILL prefer Beyond and this extension makes it possible.

Somehow I'm rolling damage/healing dices with disadvantage all the time, am I missing something? Also, is there any way to use the extension to roll de attack roll and damage roll separated? I like the pause between both rolls rather that doing everything at once :P Cheers on the extension, makes life easier!
