Awesome..

It works but as soon as you click outside the popup, the whole process stops. So if you have hundreds of posts to selected unsave and you have to start over its incredibly frustrating. Could easily be fixed with a list of posts to unsave and continue the process when the user open the extension again for instance

I've been trying for a while now and for some reason it is not working for me. It used to work before but now it doesnt. What should i do?

Worked efficiently, literally helped me unsave so much from the years I started saving posts.

OMG I LOVE THE CREATOR OF THIS EXTENSION SO MUCH. It works perfectly, and saved me sooooo much time. Literally 10000x more efficient than doing it manually. It took a while to delete 2000+ posts (like 10/20mins?) but it was all automatic and is something you just cannot complain about considering how long it would have took otherwise. It got stuck at 1147/2234 - but when I refreshed the page it had actually deleted all 2234, so not sure what happened but it worked anyway lol. 5/5 stars easily.

Great platform - I'd love the ability to move the photos into the new folders feature on instagram. Would this be possible? having the ability to move the images into the new sub-folder collections.

It unsaved 4.9k posts but it stopped later, is there any solution?

Useless, only capable of taking you 'saved' page, nothing more.

It worked perfectly but now instagram has a built in unsave all feature so maybe thats why this doesnt work anymore.

The "Unsaver for Instagram" Google Chrome browser extension use to work well for un saving 'saved' content in bulk. I wonder if Meta (Facebook) put a pressure on the app developer or it has become hard for the developer to dedicate time due to complexity. I hope this app gets fixed soon.

It stopped working recently. The 'UNSAVE' button doesn't even show up now ?!

Stopped working on the latest version of Chrome. Before that, it wasn't saving files. I would get the zipped folder, but no images inside.

It worked. Worked very well, actually, however there was suspicious activity on my account. Now my Instagram account is flat out gone. Zero access to it, can't recover it, and now I'm going to have to make a new account. What's the purpose of someone doing such a thing to someone else's stuff unprovoked? Who knows. All I know is that the dev has no life if that's what he does with other people's information. Not an extension to be trusted and needs to be taken off of the Google Web Store. The developer clearly has malicious intent with this program.

Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache. God forbid it doesn't work properly - no where to turn. Added the Extension via Chrome Web Store. Used 1x. Unsaved a large amount of posts. Removed the Extension. Waited 2 days - Used it again. Unsaved a large amount of posts. Removed the Extension. Waited another 2 days. Error Message which says... "{"message" : "Please wait a few minutes before you try again.", "status" : fail"}" Removed the Extension. Waited 1 Week. Started right back up and was working again. The Error Message appeared again. "{"message" : "Please wait a few minutes before you try again.", "status" : fail"}" Removed the Extension. Now, when I attempt to Login to My Account. After hitting the Login Button (both on the App or Website), with the Extension Removed, I get the Error Message... "{"message" : "Please wait a few minutes before you try again.", "status" : fail"}" Emailed the Developer. Got a Rude Response. He offers no further help though it appears his Extension has essentially malfunctioned and hijacked my Instagram Account. I explained that "Your Extension requires Third Party Access to the Instagram Account. Even after Removal, it still has Access." He can't explain it or remedy the situation.

Very very fantastic.

Worked perfectly, however it is a bit unclear how to use it. For anyone wondering there is a button that says 'select' or 'select all' in the saved tab. From their select 'unsave'.

This extension works almost seamlessly, puts a smile on my face seeing all those old, cringe disappear out of my saved posts. If I may leave a suggestion to improve the experience of this extension, it would be a filter system to saved posts! For example; if I have posts from 2020,2019 and 2018, it would be very helpful to be able to select a specific year in order to view posts saved solely from said year. instagram themselves don't provide such a luxury. i know myself, along with many others, suffer from a ludicrous amount of garbage we no longer want or need, and loath the idea of putting a heavy weight on the space bar to scroll to the bottom of our saved posts, only to have the browser crash moments later. Being said, a filtering option would be a tremendous feature to this extension! just an after thought, aswell as the suggestion above, another feature that would be amazing would be to open up posts while using the selecting tool so that a person can view the post in a full screen before selecting the post

It takes a little time to figure it out, but this is amazing saved me so much time!

I have used this extension and it worked very well for the first few minutes. However, after deleting about 7000 posts or so, my instagram account seems to have bugged out. My instagram is constantly showing error messages and would not load any posts or texts. At the moment, my account is rendered useless since I cannot load anything and new error messages are constantly popping up saying "couldn't refresh feed" and "please wait a few minutes before you try again." Please help me resolve this issue.

Worked great for me. If it doesn't seem like it worked at first, make sure to reload the page after running it to see the updated data.

Disappointed! It unsaves initially but a week later again its starts populating old saved posts!! I believe it just somehow hides them and later on it starts getting visible again..

After using this extension all of my saved posts have suddenly disappeared but are still there to see on my phone. I'm not sure it has worked but I'm going to assume not.

It did delete some 6000 to 7000 posts yesterday evening .....bt after that its stuck ..i still have around 13k posts tried reloading and also reinstalled extension nothing seems to work please help

It unsaved my posts but there was no option to download them anymore.

it used to work, but now i no longer have an option to select photos. I reloaded the app, and tried again, click saved, and o have options for post, igtv,saved and tagged. I click saved and it doesnt do anything. It used to give you the option to select the photos then unsave.

Not working on the iOs app - seems to have work on Chrome and Safari (web 2.0) but all saved posts are still showing on version 179.0 of the Instagram application. And yes, I am using v4.0.3 of the extension.

This is a really great tool and it saved me so much time! I had so many saved posts on Instagram and I wanted to get rid of them because I was never going to look back at them. Rather than unsaving each individual post, this extension allowed me to remove multiple posts at a time. I love it!

hey man, i saw a few videos on youtube, this is the first time i was using this, it didn't show any options to unsave like earlier. can you tell me what i can do to get that menu back?

5 stars normally ... but tonight (March 3rd 2021) it's not working at all, I don't even have the usual menu anymore : "select all" "Unsave" etc. Tried uninstalling the extension and installing it again, shutting off the browser, etc. Instagram must have changed something ... Can you fix it please ? Thanking you. :-(

Not currently working. I've tried uninstalling it, and also made sure no other extensions are active. When I click the icon, it goes to Instagram, then jumps to the saved folder and none of the previous options for selecting images is there. It's basically a dud. I'll update rating if/when it's repaired. Currently using it on Chrome Version 88.0.4324.190 , Windows 10 Professional.

This doesn't even work unless I'm just being dumb, in my saved i keep left clicking, right clicking, ctrl/shift clicking, etc nothing works. It just takes me to the post itself for me to manually unsave AKA ZERO DIFFERENCE

It sounds good but there's a new update where the Instagram web actually shows the different sections that the posts are saved in, so you cannot open a section (or anything at all) and then select things to unsave. It needs an update as it is incompatible at the moment.

Awesome tool to clear clutter. Need a functionality to delete specific Collection though.

Completely useless. I have saved posts organised in collections. If you have this, it simply defaults to the 'saved' screen with options to select all/select and unsave. HOWEVER, if you click through into the main saved category or any other category, all options to unsave disappear.

I cannot get this to work. The first day it showed deleting and then I received an error message. It only deleted a few pictures. Now in only get it to delete one picture a day. Can anyone help? Please? I've tried multiple computers at multiple locations.

I can't get it to select posts individually. EDIT: I was originally using Chromium, but it works on Chrome.

cleared just under 2k posts in under 2 minutes, extremely handy tool, cleared years worth of junk off my instagram and makes the whole app feel organised again. couldnt recommend highly enough

I had hundreds of saved photos. this downloaded 48 of them and unfollowed them all so they seem to be gone forever.

Couldn't select individual photos and it instead deleted 2 of my entire saved albums which I cannot recover now.

BE CAREFUL! You may notice you are following a new account which you CAN NOT UNFOLLOW and CAN NOT EVEN BLOCK! After using this extension look at your following list and you will find a profile named " STRUM.MO ", which is the developer of this app and is gaining your follow without your consent (it has something like 13k followers and follows 0 accounts). The extension works fine but I would recommend you remove it after using it so to be able to unfollow this account, otherwise it keeps following the account in few seconds right after you remove it. The extension works fine but this was really unprofessional from the developer.

I click on the extension and it takes me to my Saved collections, where i can't seem to tick/select any photo at all. When i do open a up a collection, it doesnt give me the options to Select and unsave. Help?

EDIT2: I emailed the developer about the 'silently auto following his instagram account' 'feature', and how it is sort of shady and can be considered a privacy concern. He was really receptive to my feedback, and hadn't considered that it could be a privacy concern. He pushed a new update to the extension that same day (which is now live on the chrome store) which no longer automatically follows his account. Instead, it shows you a button after removing your posts, where you can choose to follow it if you wish. A much better solution. It also appears that if you click the donate button now, it will open in a new tab, so shouldn't have the issue I had with losing the zip file of saved images if you click to donate before it is finished generating. In light of these changes, I am more than happy to edit my review score up to 5 stars. Keep up the good work Moritz! ---- EDIT: dropping this to an even lower rating because it will automatically make you follow the developer's Instagram account, without prompting/asking permission (which is super dodgy). I've reported this to the Chrome web store as it is a misrepresentation of the features and violates the individual who uses it's privacy. ---- Removed all of the unsaved posts I selected super easily! But I clicked the 'donate' button while it was still generating the zip for the downloaded images, which opened in the same tab, and therefore never saved any of them (otherwise it would have been 5 stars) Still, cleared up a huge list of saves that would have taken forever to clear manually!

Gotta give credit where its due, I had over 800 images saved and this extension helped me unsave all of them within seconds. It initially said there was an error but after refreshing the page all my images were unsaved. Would 100% recommend.

A week ago before using this extension to clear out my entire library of saved posts, i unsaved a large number of posts manually. After i used this extension, two weeks later(this morning), a few of the previously unsaved posts appeared in my saved posts gallery. I dont understand if it is a glitch or something, but please look into it. It was very satisfying to unsave all of them but still, a few of the posts were left which i had to remove further. I love the extension. but please help me out here.

Was able to removed over one thousand saved post. Unfortunately unable to save the pictures but that honestly did not matter a lot to me.
