Acting very buggy and only works half the time. Devs need to address and update the extensions with recent chrome updates

Has been buggy for weeks now. Only way to save a pin is to disable extension, then re-enable it, each time I need to save something.....

As everyone reports, this extension no longer works. I have used it for years, sometimes encountering lower functionality than at other times, but currently it is completely non-functional. Buh buy.

Worked mostly (not perfectly) for years! Not working mostly this week. I tried everything that others did when it wouldn't work until I dug deep and came across the reviews. I use this app daily for my business and this is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Beyond frustrated.

This extension no longer works on Edge or Chrome. On Chrome the button isn't visible at all. Removing.

used to work great, but stopped working at all in recent weeks. Why won't they fix it, provide a way to update it or re-load?

Rarely works as it should recently. But for years had no issues. Refreshing the page and clicking the extension immediately is my best work around. Please fix.

I loved it...when it was working. It has become non-functional to the point of overlapping buttons, freezing, and locking up the webpage so that I have to refresh the page. The worst thing about refreshing pages is how many pages reset the location, so you have to scroll alllll the way back to where you were; ruins productivity. I had to disable the extension.

Completely non-functional. Used it easily until the last few weeks, as others have reported. Left- or right-clicking results in no indication it is recognizing the click at all. Nada. Nil. Zilch.

I used to love this extension and use it daily, but in the past month or so (like other reviewers) the pin function as all but stopped working. The only way I can save pins lately is by manually adding the website and selecting the images. This greatly reduces productivity. Whatever you have changed, please change it back!

Glitchy. Used to work quite fine, but has been getting more and more intermittent in the past month or so. Often doesn't save in to the board (after saying it did) and lately has not been working at all with Twitter. Used to be you'd need to reload the page in the browser and it would work for that one image, nowadays it just doesn't work at all. It's also very fussy about pointing to a correct source, but that can be worked around (it's website-specific when it links correctly and when it doesn't).

Sometimes it works, but generally it doesn't.

Was working great for years but the past few months it hasn't been working for me. When I try to save to a board it says "Board not found" When in fact it's there and now I have to save everything manually. Please fix your browser extension Pinterest!

Been using Pinterest Save Button extension for so long without issues, however for last week it does nothing. You click it and nothing pops up but blank box telling me to create board, doesn't show any boards. So, figured I would trouble shoot and uninstalled, reinstalled, verified all things are up to date, I am logged in, cleared cache and cookies and such, turned off all other extensions (which is Google Notes and Trend) and NOTHING. Even tried to just create a new board and it won't even let me complete that action. Please fix, we love this!! Thank you!!

Does absolutely nothing! It seems to at least be able to find the images on a page but then the save buttons don't work. Same goes for the button on the toolbar. Totally useless

It works on most sites except Deviantart and even when I attempt to do it i get 'Sorry, pinning is not allowed from this domain. Please contact the site operator if you have any questions.'

It works but the hover-buttons are hiding documents on OneDrive Google Docs, making it impossible to select and work with documents. I consider removing this plugin.

Gets in the way on images I don't want to save, and when I finally found something I wanted to, it does absolutely nothing!

It works, but a little too well. Bad for large groups of references. I used it to collect a number of reference images for later, but this cause Pinterest to flag my account for spam, so if you do want to use this for collecting a number of reference images be wary that it totally possible to get flagged. Its good for a couple of images here and there, but large reference boards it is not at all a good idea for as it could lead to you getting flagged.

For the most part, clicking to save an image doesn't do anything.

What happened? It doesn't let me save anything at all anymore. It's just like...an empty icon now.

It used to work amazing, but the past year or so it has become very slow! It takes a minute per image to save it to your board. I hope it gets fixed, but it has been so slow for a long time, I doubt they'll do anything about it.

Doesn't work. Pinterest button appears, after a few years a pop up box with a pinterest header and no other content appears and that is it.

It's handy for batch saving a bunch of photos on a site, but when I go to pinterest to view them on my board, it displays the same images multiple times. Kind of annoying since I have to then go through and manually delete all the duplicates.

This extension used to be great but now only works on about 30% of the websites I visit. Most of the time absolutely nothing happens when I activate the extension. The hovering buttons will almost never appear anymore. Sometimes the extension's panel will pop up but be completely empty even though the webpage is full of images. On rare occasions it does still work.

It used to be very helpful, but recently stopped working.

Pressing "Pin" occasionally says "Oops, can't save page" for hours, so frustrating I moved to a different service.

This button used to work as expected. Not anymore. For the past few months the button mysteriously stops working. I uninstalled it and reinstalled and it made no difference whatsoever. I like the concept. But, the frustration of it suddenly stopping working is almost enough to uninstall it.

The Pinterest save button on Chrome extensions has been a go-to for me for many years. Loved it! Within the last month, I haven't been able to use it. It will not populate anything when clicked. And the Pinterest save feature in the right click drop down is no longer available either :(

It wont let me link it to my business account and is defaulted onto my personal account, there is no option for me to switch accounts

Doesn't work on most sites. On a site that literally says, "Don't forget to save it to Pinterest." It was greyed out.

It doesn't work any more. And, apparently, people are having their Pinterest accounts deactivated for 'spam' if they use it.

I dont know why everyone keeps saying that it doesnt work - I just downloaded this pinterest save button extension and it works PERFECTLY :)) now whenever I hover over any image I see a little pinterest logo in the top left corner of the image Im hovering my cursor over and when I click it it automatically let´s me choose which board I want to save the picture into and then I just click "save" and it is done :)) checked my pinterest boards to see whether the images really were saved and they are all there :)) Thank you pinterest for making this amazing extension! big hug to all developers that made this possible, it helps so much!!

When I click "Save" to save a picture it pops up but wants me to take the time to create a board to pin it in. For the sake of time a simple click to save the picture to Pinterest would be great, allowing more time and thought later to decide where to put the pin. Thanks

I can't believe that years later, this utterly pointless extension still fails to be able to add anything to a board?! Spinning wheel of nothingness...

Recently this plugin has stopped adding a tittle and description when you pin from a website to Pinterest. Absolutely frustrating!!!!!!

do not use this extension. pinterest suspended my account for spam due to using it and i see from other reviews that i'm not the only one. i submitted an appeal and am praying i will get my account back as i had a lot saved on there, but will be uninstalling the extension and will no longer use it because it isn't worth the risk of losing my entire account.

incredibly frustrating how it mistakes page elements for images to save, making browsing sites really aggravating when you're trying to close a page element ie: shopping site coupons etc etc . there should be some sort of option to disable the save button being intrusive etc it makes me so mad that i can't say words right or anything its literallyu making me feel retard'ed i'm gonna bite my computer monitor brb

This extension no longer allows you to save a description for your pin -- and it doesn't pull any description by default -- so all of the pins created with this recently have nothing but blank space where the description should be. Among other things, this means pins perform horribly because there's no text to search for keywords/relevance/topics/etc.

Used to work...don't know what happened.... Ever since they've been making updated to Pinterest the pin button has been working less and less. It'll work for awhile and then just randomly stop working. I'll do all the steps it tells you to do: clear cookies, reinstall, etc. and it still doesn't work....it's insanely frustrating this is the whole point of pinterest and they haven't fixed this issue. This is the third or fourth time this has happened in a year its rediculous. It'll randomly start working again in a week or so but it's insanely frustrated when I'm working on something and then can't get back to it until the pin button starts working again... Also it's way less effecient. Like other people have said they removed the function of saving multiple images at once. Why on earth would you remove that? That made it 1000x better. Also the they add more clicks and redirects to save the pin. Like what???? Why would you add this? It was like one two clicks before now it's like 5. Doesn't sound like a big deal but it makes everything alot slower and just unneccessary. This feature used to be amazing. Used to work perfectly. Sometimes if it ain't broke don't fix it because they've made this feature absolutely horrible.

I really enjoy the feature. I find it helpful to be able to save any image to Pinterest and I use it all the time.

Sometimes it works as expected but most of the time I get the pop-up message that I have to reload the page to use the Pinterest button. Gets a bit annoying to constantly reload pages just to pin something.

Buggy and seems to be the reason my account was suspended for "spam"--there wasn't anything else that could have caused that. I had a lot of important boards that I might permanently lose if I don't end up recovering my account. No warning, it just stops working, and I open Pinterest back up, and my account is gone. Just for trying to pin things using their own tool (and not many, at that). For what it's worth, though, it was a decent idea and convenient while it worked, just poorly executed.

Be *EXTREMELY* wary not to use this extension... Twice, my account has been wrongfully suspended for "spam" while using this normally. The first time, my account was recovered. The second time, I am still hopefully waiting...

Faulty. Will randomly stop working and not add pictures to Pinterest boards, despite deleting cookies and clearing cache in browser.

this used to be amazing but now i seem to only be able to pin individual images separately, i used to be able to pin loads at the same time from the same web page? any one else having this problem know the solution? thanks

BEWARE OF WHEN IT DOESN'T ACTUALLY SAVE. You can spend an hour pinning without realizing that the "view" option never showed meaning that it didn't actually create a pin. Failed pins ought to be more obvious. I have no idea of how many pins in my life were never saved.

Love the idea, execution not so much. Why can't I click multiple images I want to save and then just add them all at once? Or just have them save to a default board and then I can switch them all over to where I need them if I want. This could be such a good tool that makes things quick and productive but instead it slows me down having to go through the steps of saving to the board on every image before I can click the next

PLEASE add an option to remove the magnifying glass icon it's so irritating and covers 'watch later' and 'favorite' icons

wowwww.....why so many clicks just to pin an image?!? it is sooo slow and i have to close the browser window it opens. i should be able to select the board i want to save to by default, and then only need to click the save button on the image and just that. there used to be another extension that did just that, but i bet P forced them out. this is terrible, and pretty much makes pinterest useless to me. im just going to download the images instead. wayyyy faster.

It was much better when you could save multiple images at once, but now I can only save one image at a time. It's annoying especially when I want to save a lot of images from site.

super glitchy it really need to be fixed! -it's super slow unresponsive. -90% of time it doesn't pin, and just keeps infinity loading after pressing save.

At times, It works great! And I can save lots of things at once. But after a few minutes of saving some things. It'll stop working. I'm not entirely sure why this stops working as a whole. But it's a real bummer

I've had this in the past and it was great. The current version doesn't work at all. In fact, after trying it once ore twice, it crashes. I have tried re-installing it several times. Nothing has changed on my computer since my previous successful use of it, so it must be a change in the app.

When it did work i couldn't really click anything without saving it to my pinterest and it was really just annoying and now that i want to use it for something it doesn't want to work, its useless the idea is smart, if it didn't do what it did i would recommend it.

It works but is very scuffed? Like only 3/5 actually get saved without even telling you which ones failed, and it literally never gave me the correct page (link) out of over 100 pins and had to delete all of them..

Really liked this extension and used it frequently but now it doesn't seem to be working :/ I never removed it but had difficulty finding it and then suddenly it was greyed out when I found it again. I redownloaded it and now it doesn't work. Kinda sad that pinterest doesn't care about it bc it was a nice time saver, don't always wanna open up a pinterest tab and put in the hyperlink.

Fantastic browser add-on, very useful, although I would like to point out that while browsing YouTube's Home page Pinterests add-on search button that hovers in the upper right corner of video thumbnails also covers YouTube's Add to Watch Later button It's very annoying to have to fight with Pinterests add-on just to use this functionality of YouTube. A very small detail and maybe a nit-pick, but it is the only gripe I have with Pinterests add-on.

I usually love this extension, use it almost every day and would rate it 5 stars but as stated in all of the most recent reviews, it hasn't worked in weeks! Every time I try to use it says I'm not logged in, although I am. Please fix soon!!

Still not working properly since the last update July 24th. I've wasted so much time following all their troubleshooting tips. Nothing helped. Shame.

Works pretty well... most of the time atleast. I have to click the extention icon about 1-2 times before it works, and sometimes it doesnt save my pins. So, again, works pretty well, but has some annoying bugs.

Pinterest extension keeps saying that i'm not signed in even though it automatically signs me in every-time. Can't save any pins.

Would have a 5 star if the extension still worked, was working well until about a week ago, and now all I get is 'Psst Looks like you're not logged in' I have tried uninstalling the extension and reinstalling. I have tried logging in and out more times than I can count. I have even uninstalled chrome and reinstalled and had a clean out of my desktop and internet and nothing works. By the looks of it and the other reviews this is an issue with pinterest over anything else and when notified of the issue they dont seem to care

July 2021. On Chrome/Mac, this stupid button is useless. When I try to pin something from a web page, it tells me that I'm not logged in to Pinterest, even though I am. None of the so-called fixes work. Bah!

Stopped working. For the past few days, every time I try to save something from an external site I get a pop-up preventing me from saving. It says "psst looks like you're not signed into pinterest let's fix that!". Even though I am ALREADY LOGGED ON.

Not working. After clearing my cache to help with system lag the addon no longer works. When you try to pin something you get a popup with this message: "Psst! It looks as though you're not signed in to Pinterest. Let's fix that!" Click to fix. It goes to a login screen then refreshes to my already logged in pinterest. Tested and same problem with Firefox too.

It thinks that I'm not signed in, even though I am. I've used this successfully before which is the only reason I've given it 2 stars. Whenever I try to use this extension it says "It looks as though you're not signed in to Pinterest. Let's fix that!" which is weird since I AM signed into pinterest. With a link to sign in. I click this link, and it takes me to pinterest's sign in page, where it signs me in and takes me to my pinterest dashboard, all automatically. Then I try to go back to the tab with the image i wanted to save in the first place, and the extension just keeps telling me I'm not signed in.

Getting an error reading "Looks like you're not signed in to Pinterest. Let's fix that!" even though I'm already signed in. It makes this extension totally unusable. Happening on both Mac and PC :/

It was great - really simple and effective to use - until it stopped linking to my account. It always tells me I'm logged out when I'm not. Tried all the refreshes and reinstalls, still tells me to log in.

I've installed and uninstalled this app at least a dozen times trying to troubleshoot it, according to their troubleshoot page. Still doesn't work. The extension says I'm not logged into my Pinterest account every time I try to save something and redirects me to the log in page where I am already logged in. Useless app.

Same problem. It says "Pssst looks like you are not signed in to Pinterest" when I try to save a photo even though I am signed it. Started yesterday, wonder what's taking so long to fix this.
