This used to be one of the most useful extensions I'd ever installed, and I used it constantly. Now, it's useless, as has been said by many other people so far. Tried on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Opera GX, and Vivaldi-- no success on any.

Could you please add the option to drag-and-drop multiple selected videos? Or, better yet, make it possible to move multiple videos to certain index in playlist? That would be just awesome, and thanks for the great extension!

Currently not working if you are logged in to your youtube account. When clicking the 3 dots, the menu doesn't appear when you select multiple videos from a playlist. Works when logged out for some reason though.

Used to be great but you can now no longer get to the menu to perform any action so it's useless

Exactly what I wanted but doesn't function properly. Removing more than 200 videos at at time from watch later hasn't been processed after refreshing. Can't select all the videos is a playlist at once without scrolling. No download option yet. Hopefully I can come back and give it 5 stars soon.

I thought this was actually going to be exactly what I was looking for. Wrong. I wanted to work within my youtube account. When I logged into my youtube account expecting to be able to select and move a bunch of videos from one playlist to another all the destination playlists were from an account associated with my chrome profile and NOT from the account I was actually logged in to. Another waste of time.

Worked great up until about a week ago (January 15, 2023) and now it doesn't work at all, which is unfortunate!

nice plugin but i have found some bug ,when i have multiple account login in chrome it is showing playlist of first login account and when i try to add to playlist i can see unath error in youtube api

it works so so on chrome - crazy bit - on firefox it works great .. seems like an active effort to hinder it on this plattform .. same is the case with video downloadhelper .. go figure

I couldn't save anything from Watch later to a separate playlist. Tried many times. Pretty useless.

It used to work great, but stopped recently without warning. I can see it (most of the time) and can select things, but can't do anything with them once selected. Defeats the use of the whole app, since I can't delete or move things together anymore. I've tried toggling the extension, changing settings, and removing and re-downloading it, but it still doesn't work.

In instances where this apps little three-dot-tick-box-number thingy shows up beneath a video and completely covers over the existing little three-dot thingy beneath a video then the existing little three-dot thingy cannot be accessed - this is a problem because this apps little three-dot-tick-box-number thingy doesn't allow you to untick or even see an existing tick on the 'Watch Later' playlist in the 'Save to playlist' function. example: https://www.youtube.com/@kate/videos

needs work. There's no bloody "move video option to playlist..." function. Everytime you perform any action it UNSELECTS the videos you just SELECTED?!!? What it should do is maintain the whole selection. Maybe some people want to actually use this "Multiselect" extension for something useful and that isn't possible when you then have to go through an select everything AGAIN.

Can no loner remove multiple videos from Watch Later core list. Update: 11.17.22, works again; thank you for the effort!

Provides necessary functionality. Sometimes YT updates and breaks part of it. ATM we're waiting for the developer of this extension to find another workaround to be able to bulk remove videos again. Other features are still working as of now.

I give it 4 out of 5 because they missed a really important feature. I multi-select items and add to a playlist other than the one they're on. Once the change is processed, all of the selected items are unchecked. Why uncheck them? It's so counterproductive. I want to perform another operation and can't without checking them all over again. So - YouTube doesn't include a multi-select feature, and this company stopped just short of a home run.

Brilliant! Use it to bulk remove videos from playlists and bulk move files to top of playlist etc.

It was okay because if a playlist had vids of 3000, it only selected those visible in front of it, not the all if selected to do so. Also I liked it did moved, but in that case, it duplicated several of those vids and those duplicates end up over 500 (another headache for me). If you could bring a feature or option to check duplicates in same playlist or same video in multiple playlists, it would be beneficial for old users who have many playlists and vids in those collected over the years. Also html export of those playlists with title and url would be additional bonus if you consider it. Anyways, worthy addon but needs improvement over issues and shortcomings it has after those issues caused. Thanks.

I love this extension! My only request is an option to select and hide videos instead of having to do it individually.

This extension really works great. I have over 4,000 videos in my Watch Later (don't ask) and sifting through them would've been agonizing without it. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because 1. There's a bug where when you scroll down on a playlist and it starts loading more videos, the plugin will automatically select a bunch of videos that load in, meaning you have to either go through and deselect them or just deselect all, including the ones that you selected yourself. 2. A few more features would make this plugin amazing, one that would really help is the option to "move and delete" selected videos, i.e. to have them moved to a new playlist and have them deleted from the playlist they were selected in. Cut and paste, basically. 3. This is a pretty small gripe and maybe it's just me, but when I'm at default 100% zoom it's really hard for me to tell which video the selection box is connected to, so I might accidentally select the box for a video above or below the inteneded one. I can solve this by zooming in, though

It used to be good but now all that is shows are the playlists for another account instead of for the account I'm on that moment

I had filled my Watch Later playlist to it's maximum at under 5,000 videos. I used Multiselect for Youtube to copy 100 videos at a time to a "2022_backlog" playlist. As I did so I deleted those 100 videos from the Watch Later playlist. It was not too time consuming and far more efficient than anything else I had found (most options to do those no longer work). Great extension. Very useful. Assuming this still works going forward. This extension was recommended so I tried it on 27th of July, 2022 and after refreshing the Youtube Watch Later playlist page the extra buttons appeared on the right and I could start managing the playlist. I see some reviews in the past week have said that it stopped working, but it must have been fixed by the developer, or the issue was elsewhere in the browser. Perhaps if it is still not working then try some browser troubleshooting.

It stopped working for me as of July 23, 2022. Hope it gets fixed soon

Been great for me for ages - stopped working as of 19-Jul-2022. Probably just YT messing with div names and such. Will check back again soon to see if it gets fixed.

UPDATE: Stopped working, or at least all of the 'bells and whistles' have mysteriously disappeared. Eg "move to the top" and other options are gone. Had to change my 5 star review. Sorry.

This worked wonderfully in Chrome for a few weeks and I would have given it 5 stars. I added it to 3 computers and sometime after that (about a month ago) it stopped working on all computers. Running Windows 10 64-bit. Have uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled; nothing. The checkboxes are there and I can check them but the 3 dots above the checkboxes for the drop-down menu no longer appears. It runs on these computers in Firefox several weeks ago but it appears to have disappeared from the Firefox extension store to reload. Help! Thank you.

It does what I need

Worked as intended. Selecting all the videos in my watch later was a bit tedious because youtube only loads about 100 at a time, but that's youtube not this extension, and the check box might have selected them all anyways, I just scrolled all the way down to be sure all of them were loaded. After this I then moved them to a playlist, selected all the videos again, then deleted them from my watch later after verifying they were safe in another playlist. I then deleted this application. No clickbait, no ads, did its job and was designed to be deleted rather than linger around like some other applications. Overall quite satisfied.

Like other people are saying there's a new bug where clicking save to playlist does nothing. It doesn't even open the playlist menu. Kind of makes the extension useless. It's 5 stars when the extension works but 2 stars otherwise.

I've had this for almost a year with no issues, and as of today, every time I hit "Save to playlist", it won't even open the playlist menu. I have to add all the videos to a Queue before saving them to a playlist. Don't know why this is happening.

This works perfectly for my requirements - taking multiple uploaded music videos and putting them in a playlist that doesn't need much management (I keep the ones I like and then prune anything en masse). I would note that this seems only to work on my laptop running Chrome on Windows 11 and not Windows 10.

It works well with playlist management but I recently discovered a bug apparently relating to this. When you're on the main page of a channel and their playlist has more videos in it, there's a right arrow you can click to shift to the next "page" of the playlist. When you click that button using this extension the button just vanishes and the playlist does not show any new videos.

So nice! Now I can transfer my playlists and Watch Later between accounts using it. I can share a playlist from the source account with "collaborator" function, and the target account can multiselect all the videos in that list, then create a queue, and save it to a new playlist!

Yes! Updating my review because, at least today 5/1/22 - you CAN use this to save extremely long Watch Later queues to a new playlist. The process is somewhat involved: * Go to your Watch Later playlist. The playlist in the sidebar will only contain the first 100 videos. * Scroll down to the bottom of the playlist. This will load another 100 video links onto the page * Keep scrolling down, every time the next 100 videos load, until your entire playlist is loaded. * Your browser may warn you that the page has become unresponsive from time to time. Persevere. * When your entire playlist is loaded, click the select all checkbox from the menu provided by the extension on every video. * Click the save to playlist option from the menu extension. Fwiw, I needed to save to an existing playlist to have it work. * Boom. Your watch later is now a playlist. If you cannot load all your watch later items for some reason (computer slows down too much etc) Then save 1/2 your items this way, then do the same with the list reversed (ie oldest videos first).

Great extension. Would you consider adding an option to bulk remove selected videos from your watch history, but from a different playlist? Is that even possible? Sometimes I accidentally leave something like my "watch later" playlist playing on a device and it ends up marking a bunch of stuff as watched and the only way to reset the status is for me to manually go through my watch history and remove them one by one. Quite annoying.

Extremely useful tool, I'm shocked at how much functionality and detail is in this.

Cheers! VC** ?REVIEW: Disappointing as this extension *used* to work just fine... (which garners it the two stars rather than none at all) I can still multiselect my chosen videos then add to *queue*, but not to my playlists any more... ? But then YT has its own 'add to queue' feature anyway, so this extension now offers nothing special or 'extra' to bog-standard YT in that case. I know I used to be able to successfully multiselect and 'add to playlist' - and frankly it's the key reason I wanted the extension in the first place. ? I can now get as far as *multi-selecting* the videos on eg the home page, and clicking "add to playlist", but then no playlist index pop-up appears for me to *add* the selected vidoes to my chosen playlist. I kept thinking I'd done something wrong, or maybe it was automatically adding them to a new, unnamed or hidden playlist or something. Spent ages hunting around all my playlists (I have a *lot* ?), wondering where the extension had squirrelled them away to. But after a very long search, concluded they hadn't been saved anywhere. Which is a bit of a bugger. This is also frustrating as for a while, I believed the extension had to be saving my videos somewhere so I didn't save any of my videos manually. Had I known the extension was no longer working as designed, I'd have either hunted for a replacement extension, or saved them all manually – tiresome, but reliable at least... Very disappointing, and such a shame as when it worked, it really worked! ⭐️⭐️two stars for when it used to work, otherwise it would be just ⭐️1 star, for the disappointment it's created for me, and – from reading the comments – several others like me.

Can't multiselect then add to queue or playlist I wanted something to let me add all the videos from a channel into a playlist. I really don't want to right click add to playlist 1200 times. It lets you multiselect, but you can't do anything with the multiple selections. You still have to right click add to playlist 1200 times if that's what you want. Dumb extension.

I lost my full watch later playlist by using this extension. It only copied on video every time but I had selected more than a thousand videos each time.

Oh my god you are a life saver

Only receiving 3 stars The reason is becuase the videos are not in the order that they originally were in the playlist. Sorting by newest and oldest added does not look the same as the original playlist. Seems like this extensions mass adds every video inconsitentely to a playlist as quick as possible. Im fine waiting a few minutes if it meant that everything would work and look the same as the original playlist. Update the extension to add the videos from oldest to newest added, a video at a time and I will change my 3 star to a 5.

Great extension! One star demerit as 'add to playlist' doesn't work on Opera (not sure about other Chromium-based browsers). Works fine on Firefox, though.

Works perfectly! I highly recommend it for marathoning videos.

Amazingly useful. Was able to move my full (5000 video) watch later list to a different one. Only complaint is that I had to reselect videos after moving them but that's really only another two clicks.

Wasted time. Spent a lot of time selecting videos only to find out it copied only 1 of them and somehow uses playlists I created 1 year ago, some of which I deleted a long time ago.

Great extension in theory. I thought it did exactly what I wanted it to: Move around my saved videos. Sadly the "Save to Playlist" did not nearly save all my videos, that I wanted to into the new playlist. Since I didn't check that, I deleted them all from my watch later. I know this is such a first world problem, but I did want to watch those but now they are gone. Moving stuff in the same playlist seems to work fine, so it gets 2 stars.

Does not have a clear and concise way of using the extension. Nowhere on youtube does it allow me to even select videos let alone let me move it from playlists or mass delete.

Just subscribed youtube premium and I am surprised it didn't even have this basic feature... Thank you so much for creating it

I'm really not sure how to feel about this extension. Theoretically, it's EXACTLY what I need to sort my extremely long playlists. However, despite what the screenshots show, I am unable to copy videos from one playlist into another playlist. This essentially renders it useless for me.

It doesn't let me select multiple videos to put on a playlist in a tab where a video is open, which is why I wanted to have something like this again in the first place. It allows it on the homepage, but not anywhere else from what I can see. If it allowed that, I could definitely rate it five stars, but without that feature it's just not as useful.

HOLY I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SINCE EVER I think you should add "YouTube playlist manager" to your page as a keyword, because I legit thought that there's no hope for easier playlist managing (until YouTube add these future in the future).

Now I can move my Watch Later videos to other playlists. Since Youtube changed this feature I've been looking for a way around it and your extension is the best for it, because after moving them I can select them and delete all the videos in one go. I was not able to remove items from playlists using multiselect. I was able to multiselect from a search and add to queue then add the queue to playlists.

Nothing works anymore. "Add to Queue", and "Remove from Playlist" not working.

It still works. You have to select the videos, add them to the queue, and then add the entire queue to a playlist.

Okay, changing my original rating. I had originally rated as two stars as it wouldn't let me move multiple videos from one playlist to another, which is the only reason I wanted it. HOWEVER, I figured a way around it that works well, and thus I am upgrading my rating. 1) Move all videos from your old playlist to your new one. 2) Use Multiselect to mass remove any videos you don't want on your new one. Not a perfect solution, but it works.
