Thanks for the developer that they have made such a valuable extension to analyze any website.

Functionally? Great, works well all around. Accuracy? Stellar, the signatures are good. Efficiency? This plugin is so bad I have a dedicated copy of Chrome for using Wappalyzer. The unbounded memory growth forces me to kill the process usually once a day if I use this on my regular Chrome browser. Disabling and re-enabling the extension is annoying. This would be 5/5 if you fix the performance OR give us ability to not run it at all unless clicked on (the 'on click' in settings is not sufficient).

The only web platform analyzer extension that works for me. Just pause any ad blockers while using it and it should work for many sites.

It's not working on my PC, the extension always saying "No technologies detected"

The idea is amazing but it says that every website is made with react? My PHP website: react My static plain html and css website: react My JSF Primefaces website: react Are you serious? I'd rather have a message "could not get all technologies" or something than just slap react everywhere. Another solution could be a percentage of how sure the extension is that a website is made with given technology

Good app but after a while it uses an enormous amount of RAM even when not prompted to be used.

The author is super responsive. Very useful for tracking the usage of our teck stack!

It's excellent but recent versions break jdownloader2 click n load feature. Only workaround is to set the extension to work "On click" instead of "On all sites". Please kindly fix the issue.

Does not work with Vivaldi. Every web page says "No technologies detected"

The extension is a must-have for developers, the only problem is that it can conflict with other extensions that inject code in the page, like one called Cupononia, it injects some CSS to its own pop up and Wappalyzer says all websites are built with VueJS, since this extension uses it

It's a good extension to know about the website we visit what technologies they use. But, most of the time even in my own projects it shows Angular framework even though I've never used angular in my project. I've noticed most of the website which was not built on angular but still showing angular though. Take a look at this website: https://we-chit-chat.netlify.app/ It was built with React but still showing angular too

Please add a "temporarily disable on all websites" option, it eats energy so much

Such a great extension and working perfect on any site e.g; https://apkdice.com to detect the technologies on my sites. Didn't face any issue in it and using it for almost 8 years. I would recommend everyone who even wants to check the web technologies or frameworks used on a website.

Dark Mode should be dark, not blue. And cache is doing so much problem. Need a clear cache button in the extension popup, not in the settings. by the way, you are doing a very good job. thank you

Doesn't work when OnClick is selected in the extension management. Please fix it. I don't need to run this on all sites I visit.

Good extension, but high memory usage I see 200MB with a couple tabs open, this is something that should be looked after

Works fine but was consuming ~333mb of ram when it's not even open / just installed.

I have been using this extension since the beginning. But after the current update, I have been facing some bug. This extension sometimes doesn't show or load the right technology. Sometimes a normal WordPress site shows Node.Js technology! If I clean the cache that fixed for few hours but again I got that problem.

Completely misleading! I tested the site with popular sites like Netflix and Facebook which I know uses React as a frontend library. While my React detector shows they are using React, this extension shows it is using JQuery.

It can't detect which technologies are being used on most of the sites in which I am interested.

I love it, it's really useful, however, the recent update made the background purple and it's awful. What's worse, there's no option to change it. Messed with the dark background option but nothing helped. Change it back or give us meaningful and actually working options. Update: It's fixed. 5*. But as a recommendation, it'd be great to see an actual dark theme that has a dark grey background, as opposed to having a dark purple one.

It's not accurate. It identifies my hand-made .net core web application as PHP

Stopped working after the last update. Used to work reasonably well. Now it claims that React and styled-components on every single website I visit, including Google.com, and on the company's own website it claims it's using both React and Vue at the same time???

Why it is displaying much less technologies when visiting the same site of mine? I used to see many frontend and backend technologies information available, around ten, but now it only displays four at the latest version.

Slows down page loading speed. Don't recommend, especially if you are a developer and need to refresh you page frequently.

It's really nice extension but I think it doesn't work with Angular?

Used to be great. Now for some reason they've removed the plugin icon that shows you what kind of site it is and replaced it with the Wappalyzer logo. Makes the plugin much less useful.

This is not showing real information. I have installed NGINX on my server but this extension not showing real information.

No longer appears in the menu. Have tried on Vivaldi and Firefox and it doesn't work any more. The devs seem to have no interest in fixing it either as this has been an issue for months for many people.

Please remove the redirect to https://www.wappalyzer.com/installed when Wappalyzer is installed. This is annoying when logging into Chrome on a new computer; it pops up everytime.

Really good extension for getting an overview of the technologies used on a website. We insist our sales team uses this extension to assess the technical difficulty of any lead we are scoping, We use the information in deciding whether we can effectively support the prospective client.

It was okay and worked just fine. But I have my laptop and now it is not working. I looked on their site but I found nothing to resolve my issue.

Does not do what it claims. Showing that a site uses GA and Cloudflair is of little use to anyone. Uninstalled.

is it just me or this not even working on 95% of sites? It only works on like big sites like amazon and facebook. Doesn't do anything for all the rest of the sites i'm interested in. Unless i'm doing something wrong, I can't recommend this plugin.

Useful plugin. Doesn't detect Vue.js stack if packaged with Parcel.js.

Super useful tool, I love the functionality but it CONSTANTLY crashes or stops showing up. This forces me to have to open my Chrome extensions pane to reload it on a nearly weekly basis. If it was actually reliable it would be 5 stars for sure, but the instability is just a killer.

The addon is great! My concern is that warning "Reads and change all data of the website you visit" What is the meaning of that? It can store everything you do on that website?
