Not working; Mostly I get the error "Browser refused to debug this tab". Or when after several attempts the error disappears, and the "Netbeans Connector started debugging this browser" message appears, no NetBeans icon in the address bar. Error in NetBeans itself (something "failed" in status. Guess this will be the end for this extension, and probably Netbeans in general, for me. The extension wouldn't even open let alone even pop up in the downloads tab never download this.
How do i connect it to my netbeans IDE to refresh on save? I downloaded the extension and have not been making use of it

It doesn't work. using netbeans ver 8.2 and chrome version 70.0.3538. no error message. just nothing happens. I was very hopeful that this extension will make my work more efficient. That's a shame.
It was Okay but you have to install it every time i want to use it.
Cannot get debug of a simple 10 line html file, in either Windows 10 running from latest Apache 9.0 release of netbeans or Ubuntu 18.04 from netbeans 8.2 release. Same error every time from both environments. Browser refused to debug this tab. Two completely different operating systems. Installed clean on both pcs a few days ago. Same error.
I can tried to make this extension work with netbeans 9.0 on windows 10 but cannot? When I click run on the netbeans (with connector) toolbar it opens chrome with an odd page: ******/AppData/Local/Temp/blank4572890951369620544.html When I click run in chrome (without the connector) it opens the page correctly as http://localhost:8383/HTML5Demo/index.html
I really like this extension. Unfortunately, it appears to no longer work with Chrome 69. I get the following message when running on Windows 7 Home Premium / JDK 8 / NetBeans 8.2: Browser refused to debug this tab. Close Chrome Developer Tools (or any other browser debugger) and try again. I'm not running any other debuggers.

I try several times to open simple index.php file in browser and every time its say the same -> "netbeans connector is debugging this browser" and shows me this Error: Error 404 localhost Apache/2.4.29 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.1.0g PHP/7.2.2
This extention is disable in chrome. Can you fix this problem?

CSS propagation changes does not work with Netbeans 8.2 and Chrome v63 and NB connector v1.1.5, any ideas, otherwise would give it 5 stars.
When it works, this is a good extension. It stopped working on MacOS High Sierra. Anyone have ideas for a fix?

The extension is installed on Chrome but Netbeans asks to install the same.

Almost perfect except two things. Maybe I couldn't figure it out yet but it doesn't show me the inline styles and the css after and before. For these reasons I need to use chrome's developer tools. I would really love to use this though

the only problem is that i can't permanently hide the top bar that say "netbeans connector is debugging this browser". i am starting to develop anxiety because of this annoyance,really. i beg you to make an option to permanently disable this bar,please please.

It used to work everytime, but now it works one time, then you have to quit NetBeans, uninstall the connector, restart netbeans and reinstall the connector to get it to work one time.

Used to love NetBeans+Chrome for designing websites. But now for some reason, it doesn't propagate CSS changes done in Developer Tool's style editor. Does this feature still exist? I've tried different versions of Chrome and NetBeans, none work anymore. It was working fine few months ago.
Why then do have to reinstall in the event that i restart either netbeans or chrome?

good, but where is the inspect in netbeans mode ?
Runs perfectly fine but just once after installation. After installation when 'run' is clicked from IDE plugin works fine until project is closed. After closing Chrome/Netbeans IDE when you reopen same or other project clicking run prompts that there is no chrome extension; however project does show up at localhost. Fresh installation of this connector is required each time. This single bug reported by hundreds on both Linux and Windows but still unresolved is making it useless.
I want to be a best programmer that i can be. Thank you netbeans :)
As many others have pointed out, no longer works properly and needs to be reinstalled each time the IDE is restarted, you try to run a different project or stop the debugging. It works on my home setup but doesn't at work, using the same netbeans and chrome versions. Using nightly builds is obviously not an option in a production environment.
Does not works. I made it work after making many changes but when i restarted the app it again stopped working.
Does not work properly. I use Mozilla for debugging since it doesn't require any installation and I highly recommend it, until this plugin gets fixed.
It's decent for what it is, but some installations just don't seem to work. On my current setup it doesn't recognize it and I have to install it again for each use. Judging by google searches it's an old issue.

From time to time science makes a quantum leap. In case of IT industry, I think NetBeans Connector Chrome extension represents a quantum leap in software integration. If you are 30+ years in the IT field, you've heard plenty of softwares promissing to achieve this level of integration. When I edit styles in Chrome's Developer Tool the Connector extension interactively makes the same changes in the respective css file in NetBeans and saves it. How is that for WYSIWYG? Just a quick note on this super cool integration tool — if you are just playing with styles in Chrome Dev tool, you must remember that NetBeans Connector is actually updating your files and undesired changes are being saved.
Worked once. Afterwards it Netbeans claims it is not installed even though it already is. 1/5 until they fix it.
Somehow, installing it several times seems to have fixed the issue for me. Now it works like a charm.

It's worse than terrible, it is USELESS. Why is it useless? Because it DOES NOT WORK. Why do so many otherwise extremely intelligent software developers release so much trash and rubbish software? Unbelievable!

It is really a helpful extension when developing HTML5. The only drawback is that I have to re-install the extension every time I start Chrome.

This super helpful tool, really makes life a lot easier.
I like the extension but absolutely hate the persistent, ugly yellow bar sitting at the top while using it. It's exceedingly annoying while designing.
A must have for web development in NetBeans.
