if i get my beloved LX-3 Panasonic back, or even track it down for that matter, i'd be STOKED! have a feeling i'll end up tracing it to some person who unsuspectingly bought it from a pawn shop and perhaps got a sweet deal on it.... i'd ya know... have to forget it, but at least leads to the car burglar could be generated!
Brilliant! Why didn't someone think of this sooner!? And as for anybody who says their privacy is being invaded, A. The serial numbers are available online usually, and B. You'll probably see this differently if it helps recover your camera.
