This doesn't work at all. I tried adding and removing the extension twice. I checked the permissions in Chrome settings and they were not blocked. It doesn't do anything if you click hide Application Bar, and there's no arrow for widening the task pane.

Thank you for this wonderful extension, Can you please allow a wider task column? Currently it is only a bit wider at max, I would like to be able to make it wider as much of half the screen or even more. Many thanks.

Google's lawyers apparently think that by holding an extension hostage until users approve an undisclosed new permission that isn't mentioned anywhere in the Chrome store or the extension's own page means that users who clicked Accept actually gave their consent to the permission. Yeah, good luck with that one. So what is this new permission you must blindly accept if you don't want to go back to Google's default UI? • It can read and change your data in gmail and tasks What does Google mean by that, exactly? Can the extension now inadvertently delete all my emails? Maybe not, but it sure does come across like that. None of this reflects on RightTasks itself, but I am giving it 3 stars for the moment until they at least address the permission (since I know Google definitely won't).

Google took this great feature off Labs, so I'm very grateful this extension exists - thank you ghinda.net!

Please create a Google G Suite Add-On for this as well, so it can be used in Gmail desktop applications, not just the Chrome browser! :)

This app is super simple and I LOVE IT!!! I'm constantly in and out of my email throughout the day and it's nice to have my to do list right there, instead of pulling up another app/window/find a piece of paper.

Works as expected. Nice to have this capability.

The only one which places my Google Tasks list inside my Gmail, in the same window, visible all the time if you want it to be. Of course it replaces the small tasks window in the corner of Gmail.

Just what I was looking for

simple, functional, toggle off/on task list on right side of Gmail

I created multiple lists in my Tasks: when i move my gmail to Task: Task doesnt give me an option to select the list i want to move it to. in Gmail: there is no option to drag & drop into Tasks, or right click and select "move to"

One of the main issues I have with Google Tasks is that I would keep closing the list and never reopening, so this is very useful for keeping tasks at the forefront. I just wish it had the pop-out/pop-in options or a "maximize list" option for entering multiple tasks easily, in a large/dedicated window view.

It works great, but I wish they had this extension for google Inbox.

Love this tool. It definitely makes Tasks more useful. I am now using Tasks exclusively on my desktops and laptops. Very nice!

I wish this would disappear on message view. It works great on email lists, but it totally clashes with RHS extensions like Rapportive when in email view. Consider adding an option, or just ditching it from email view.

Does exactly what it should.

It's great, but what would make it even BETTER is the ability to color code tasks. Even a Red, Yellow, Green is fine.

can you add some feature of GOOGLE CALENDAR (for the gmail page?)

Why isn't this a standard feature in the gmail settings? I also use the web based GoTasks app on my phone to access/edit my list. Instead of fitting in the gray sidebar of the window, it is appearing to the right of that space and moving everything else (inbox & gray sidebar) to the left, which is condensing my inbox width. Why doesn't it just fit in the gray area? UPDATE: In case you have the same problem I referenced above, I found that if I went into Gmail Settings>Labs and disabled the "Right-side chat" the gray space disappears.

Nice idea to unify the gmail experience but I wanted to know, can this work in incognito mode because I haven't gotten it to work. Anyone know how to get that to work?

This seemed like a great extension until I isolated it as the reason that my compose screen in Gmail was not working. As long as this extension is running I could not write emails on my computer.

By far best improvement to Tasks/Gmail integration. 100% worth moving my chat back to the left to get my full task list always visible and not overlapping anything. Awesome!

He even added a way to toggle it on and off! 5 Stars!

Nice idea, but when you already use right-side chat (like I do), its wipes it out, and leaves a huge gap on screen between tasks and your email. Un-installed it right away.

Actually works better than the Tasks sidebar in Google Calendar.

It's great, but it's so huge. I wish there was a way to resize the box.

It works well with compact view but with comfortable and cozy, it does not work well.
