Initially downloaded this a while back but uninstalled due to a bug that didn't let me edit limits. Was really happy to see that fixed, thanks! This has served me well. The only thing left I'd like to see is have a schedule for when limits are active, or have different limit times for different days.(ex. more time for sites like Youtube on weekends)
Nice, ad free and open source. <3
Very helpful, it's hard to know just how much time you're spending on the internet daily. I first thought I was spending around 1 hour per day, but according to this activity time tracker, I was spending closer to 4 hours daily. Also has many useful features.
I don't usually review extensions but this is so good! One of my BEST Extensions so far! Thankyou so much! ✨

Just installed, very good so far, but what you don't offer to save the data on the cloud (Google Drive or OneDrive for example) ? It will be great to set limit for an account cross computer and not only for user/computer... Thanks
Its exactly what I needed, best activity tracker out there
Highly Recommended. very useful app. it help me to be more productive.
Great extension! Please make a version of it for firefox too??
I have been searching for something like this for so long... IT IS AMAZING AND HAS EVERYTHING YOU CAN EVER WANT!!!
doesnt work
i think it has glithches . i had an video app but i used it 3-4 hours while pausing in between. but this only shows 2.8 hours that meanss it shown only play not paused
Great work. Love that it is open-source too.
Very good
I've tried out a bunch of time trackers (including ones built into windows) and this is exactly what I was looking for, so simple and does everything I need + great looking! -I'd love to request the ability to turn limits on/off rather then deleting and adding them back again, or maybe turn off for 24hrs feature? (for cases where I need to work on a site longer than my usual daily limit)
I really love this extension. It solves two of my biggest problems. It allows me to track my behaviour and set boundaries for sites where I waste time, It's really useful as I have ADHD and I can waste hours on a website without realizing it. But does anyone know how I can export this data into Googlesheets/ csv? Because I don't see the option anywhere.
I think the time logging is accurate and easily understandable. I like how the time icon updates differently for each site when it is pinned.
I've spent a few weeks trying out extensions/software for time-tracking web activity and, so far, this is the very best one I came across. Giving it five stars, as it does everything it claims to do very effectively. I do have some suggestions, though: allow for grouping websites into categories during review, or tagging them; Increasing the max. range of tracked days (currently 3 months); and prevent the displaying of the websites you've spent less time on as "Others", in the Common Chart tab. Otherwise, very good extension, I'm getting rid of all other trackers I have and sticking to this one.
I needed an app that has aggregation features like being able to see weekly overviews for each website. I'd love if there was a way to tag different sites and aggregate the times for a category over the week, day, month, all time. As far as what it does, it does well. Simple, clean UI.
Naturally, a great app. It should come installed default with Chrome. What would make this app really powerful is the ability to set alerts when your running daily/weekly average usage for a given site(s) goes above a given percentage and send a notification. E.g. "Facebook.com has taken up more than 10% of your running daily average use." And, perhaps, at a given time of day (e.g. 9pm): "Well done! You've stayed within your daily use targets!". I get the impression this is a 'neutral' tool for analysis, but I think this kind of functionality would add to the positive impact it can have :) Thanks for your hard work!
Really enjoyed it! Wish there was some kind of password that would block the time option so I'm less tempted to give myself more time for websites.
I've been searching for a web activity tracker for a while, and nothing beats this remarkable piece of software. The User Interface is clean and intuitive, there's flexibility for users who want it, and perhaps the most astonishing fact of all; it's free. You don't have to log into anything either. Amazing! Thank you, Alex, for demonstrating the incredible power of open-source projects. All the best~ ♪(´▽`)
this extension is much better than any other time trackers out there. It has good visualized stats + limit the time usage on web. A must have exentsion for your browser
Thanks for making this extension! :)
it is the best time tracker i have used ever. i loved it. it is so simple that you just have to add to your extensions and then your work is done now all the remaining work will be done by this extension no sign in and nothing required just download it and its yours. if you are looking for an extension which will simply track time for your of all the websites you visit or you can remove the websites which you dont want that time should be tracked for them or an extension that will give your a overall graph or a pie chart of your daily time then also it is best for your. from my perspective this is best from all perspective. you should use it at least once i guarantee you if you use this you will never go for another time tracking extension.
Very Helpful.
please add support local files access . for example show how much time used in read pdfs, play mp3,mp4,...
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN APP THAT SHOW HOW MUCH TIME YOU SPENT ON EACH WEBSITE THEN THIS IS THE BEST APP YOU HAVE EVER SEEN JUST USE IT YOU WILL LOVE IT.
This extension is simply amazing!!!
Thanks for making a great functional app. Really useful!
Absolutely fantastic extension. Does what it is supposed to, doesn't get in the way of working and the time limits feature is literally a life saver. This extension was the one reason I switched to the open source chromium browser(note that chromium is not google chrome) from Firefox.
Useful statistics, but it's a real CPU hog unfortunately. If you check Chrome's task manager (not the OS task manager, but the one accessible from Chrome's title bar context menu or Shift+Esc), you'll see that the CPU use is way out of proportion with everything else. For me its CPU load was frequently >30%.
Working perfectly
Does exactly what it says on the tin, intuitive UI that gives you exactly the information you want with minimal effort. Thank you for making this.
Really well built extension that does exactly what it promises what it'll do, which is rare these days
Good job, I feel my brain is clear because I don't use Facebook more time.
Just a fun little thing to have
Been wanting to use a tool like this for a long time now. I had used something similar before, but it doesn't have enough flexibility. Well, it does I suppose, but such features are behind a subscription service I can't afford right now. This is a lifesaver. Sufficient monitoring tool without having to make you feel overly anxious nor guilty about the whole deal. Thanks a bunch.
Superb extensions. Light and accurate. A productivity tool to analyze my day.
Solid extension.
love it
Honestly one of the best extension on chrome, this is helping me become more aware of where my time is going, One thing that is missing is a daily average tracker, I wish I could see what is the average amount of time I spend on sites per day, Please add that!
I have loom and I am good at it and I almost am done with it
Epic
thank you.
does exactly what you expect in this extension. good app
Thank you.
Great Extension for exploring Productivity
It's great, but it would be perfect if it showed the average daily time.
This app crashed while I was in the middle of writing a very long comment, causing the browser to hang and my comment to be lost wasting over an hour of my time. In future I will be writing all comments in something like notepad++ before copying into a web browser, however I think you can reasonably expect a level of stability and don't generally expect an application especially one as basic and with as little utility as a time tracker to cause your entire browser to crash. This is actually the first time I've ever had an extension crash my browser in 10+ years of using chrome. Having a stable browser is of higher importance to me than knowing how much time I allocate to web browsing and if this is more important to you then I would recommend not using this extension.
Great limits work and it is 100% accurate.
Really useful, would love to have tracking for Prime videos as there is for Youtube, having the option to limit time :)
An easy way to discover what you're wasting your time on.
