Been a user of this great extension for many years. But today, I have found that it conflicts with Google Maps (via process of elimination of testing extensions). I've sent a note to the Developers. Will ramp back up to 5-stars once fixed. Hope it's fixable!

An insightful tool. An arsenal of exactly the right thing to say at all times. Words literally define who we are through expression. A wonderful application/extension.

I use it so much more than I thought I would be, and I honestly love it. First extension in a while that doesn't feel annoying or like a waste because I forget it's there — I use it a lot and it's never there in an annoying way, it just pops up and reminds me that I can click to see the synonyms !!IF I WANT TO!! :P

False advertising. There is no way to get synonyms in the immediate drop down menu as pictures in the first picture of their slideshow.

Power Thesaurus is my favourite online thesaurus - dark mode is gorgeous. Their website is sleek and effective. Love that you don't have to go back and click the search bar; typed characters will be automatically placed there.

Can't figure out how to get it to appear in Right-click option list. On Mac. Have tried toggling all different options in Settings. I will change rating if someone can advise.

This is an unreal extension to help you up your vocab game and also improve your synonyms power. I came across a feature that I hadn't explored before which is - synonyms for phrases and that is too bloody cool!

Awesome got app!

Has bug with Notion and other websites. I pay for Pro Features every single month, but 90% of the time, the software thinks I am a free user, so I get no Pro features even though I've been paying for it for months. Please fix bugs, the chrome extension is auto-adding a dash ( - ) in the input field dropdown.

Great edition for any student or writer! Pops up over any page so that you can read your document while simultaneously searching for that perfect word. Has a good variety of options without feeling overwhelming or redundant. I use it every single day. Love love love it!!!

Very convenient! Great substitute for Chrome's definition preview if using another browser.

The synonyms icon doesn't pop up anymore when I highlight the word in google docs. I tried uninstalling many times and still have a same issue. Can anyone help me fix the problem?

I would really like to rate it 5 star, but enable this extension annoyingly making bold font much bolder (reproducible on linux, with chrome 96, for gitlab project page like https://gitlab.com/asus-linux/asusctl). Please fix it

I love the thesaurus window and click to replace. This extension is perfect!

This app is the BEST, most HELPFUL and USEFUL thesaurus. Can't live without it now!

Gread extension, however we need email login, I don't want Google to track every website I visit, or be dependant on Google login when there is no need to be.

Almost any synonym for words but especially phrases I cannot find in Microsoft 10s thesaurus I copy, and paste into the power thesaurus then search for synonyms. It has been a great edition to my graduate studies. I can even copy the synonyms I look up in the power thesaurus and paste them in my Microsoft Word document unlike using Google's web browser based synonym, antonym, and dictionary.

Great tool Amazing website. I bought pro to have more flexibility with th extension. It worked for a time but now I can't figure out how to active pro. It keeps telling me to "Try Pro for Free!" I click it and it tells me I already have it. But I can't access the Pro features anymore.

Works well, and the popup icon when a word is selected is a great time-saver, but the fact that the list of synonyms is truncated to only a few words greatly detracts from its usefulness.

good-looking extension and website

I absolutely hate the new update. I used to be able to see the synonyms and antonyms just by clicking the extension. Now most of the space is taken up by the "Try PRO for free" button, not even allowing space to see the antonyms. I DON'T WANT TO TRY YOUR PRO, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE TAKING AWAY THE EFFICIENCY OF THE PRIOR VERSION OF THE EXTENSION. Please reconsider changing the format back to how it was.

The newest update has stripped the product of most of its features, and put them behind a pay wall. The required subscription costs more than Netflix! It was frankly fantastic beforehand.

I hate the changes. I want synonym & antonyms in pop up, not definition (there are better extensions for that). I don't want to see 'buy PRO' every time I select a word.

Absolutly love this!! As a masters student this tool is vital for making the language in my writing interesting and varied. It has a good selection of more common phrases and is easy to use .

I used this tool to help find similar words for the books I wrote. Produced very helpful lists to find other suitable words. I wish it had longer definitions, but that is not it's main focus.

Excellent tool if you want to expand your vocabulary and write with emphasis using words that are fitting of your statements.

I would recommend it, because fast search, easy use, big database words and examples

Fabulous ! Absolutely Fabulous ! Been using the mobile version for years and use it every day. Just found out there was a Chromebook extension by accident and of course had to down load it. This by far one of the best apps ever ! Miss Bukhanova you are marvelous GODS how I wish this app was available during my college years, would have saved hours by not using the book. I think that this is a really good tool, it gives good synonyms but I wish the extension gave you more than 5 synonyms, if you wanted more you would have to go to the website. Other than that it's a great tool to have.

it is stupid, the definition thing appeared right in front of the play button and i couldn't make it go away and i lost 1 hour of progress and it is stupid

Very handy, right on the extension bar, just click it, or highlight a word and it shows the synonym,(of course, you can turn that feature off, etc.)

Suddenly stopped working. I think this extension is probably the best way to use power thesaurus but only when it works. Tried the android app, if you can even call it one and it is underwhelming to say the least, just a webb wrapper is displayed how lame and the developer is completely dismissive to any feedback given. If only the app behaved much in the same way as this chrome extension, then you might actually have something people want and would want to use. Unfortunately for me, the pop-up no longer displays on right click and I have little used for the other settings. Back to square one which in my case = a bookmark.

I'm not all over these apps like others here seem to be, however, I'm certain this is a great addition to one's toolbox. Power Thesaurus has always been my goto page/app, for when I need to biggen my speaky.

very good extension. i need a thesaurus for writing emails. very simple, provides quick, and useful synonyms and more.

Once loved using this extension. I didn't mind the usual complaints people had, like it not being able to auto-replace words with one click etc. but now it doesn't seem to work on most websites I use. To be specific, it works on the site, itself, but not whenever you're in editor-mode...the place where you'd normally use it. It definitely doesn't work on tumblr's editor anymore. Currently still testing different sites.

i wish it could show the meaning of the word i select instead of copying the word and pasting it into the toolbar just selecting it should triggre the extention to show the meaning .

This is one of the extensions I automatically look for when reset my Chrome browser. As a writer, this can definitely help add a sprinkle of variety in your paper. Especially useful for students, too!

Very handy and will be in my extension tool belt from now on! I primarily use it for emails but support for Google Docs would make it even better. Keep up the great work!

It was a great extension... it worked on some websites, but not ALL. After finding the option for 10 synonyms, though, I felt as if this was what I was looking for. Definitely would recommend for any reports or article that you need typed up with words that aren't so simple.

Thank you for this, really helpful in quickly replacing a word to avoid plagiarism.

It used to work really well. Now it's broken and nobody's fixed it so it's time to move on to something that works.

Can't look up more than about 5 words in the Thesaurus extension before it gives me a "Suspicious activity has been detected" readout and won't work for an hour or so. Neat idea, but is effectively useless to me at this point.

Right click not working in Chrome Beta...

Really helpful extension that I constantly use on a daily basis. However, after searching up around 20 words, it will restrict me by saying "Suspicious activity has been detected". Not sure why I get this message when I am just using it for personal google docs, but it is extremely inconvenient.

Works great and all but I'm trying to use it and nothing's showing up. It says "Suspicious activity detected". Was I using it too much and too fast or...?

Love the simplicity of this extension. Unfortunately it almost NEVER recognizes really common internet acronyms.

Well, the extension doesn't work. I reinstalled it twice and... Well, nothing happened. Error 500 on their website and the extension always tells me to use English (isn't "hence" English enough?" ).

Powerful tool. But the sometime synonyms feature doesn't work for me. Cannot figure out why?

For someone who enjoys writing as much as I do, it is a necessary tool
