Tabliss sometimes become unresponsive. Right now no links work, search doesnt work. it does nothing when clicking on things

pretty good. but this extensions seems to hate bookmark. There is no bookmark widget, and when I added chrome://bookmarks/ in quicklinks, it's blocked. (Unclickable)

Amazing homepage makeover. Endless customization, really really loved it and all with no cost or ads. Beautiful. Great work developers, only suggestions, on the url link icons, add a preview as some icons many not look good (based on the link). After selecting one and not liking it, it's a bit of a faff to go all the way to change it, especially when you have many links. Other than that, amazing, 10/10 extension. Would recommend

Lately I've been noticing the weather has been inaccurate. I first tried the location button, then manually putting in the city, now im back to location button again. Seems like after some time it starts to become off like 10+ deg difference.

I really wanna add my own icon because some of what I want is not available:P and also, i see on the web version there's JS Custom too, I wish it gonna implemented in the extension soon tho

100% the best new tab replacement ever. Leoh was giving white flickers on new tab load so I could not use it. Momentum is bringing subscription to new tabs. Finally, I found this from github.

Is completely free! Lots of customisation options! Looks great!

Pros: 1) Clean design. 2) Fast startup. (which is important for me, since I create many new-tabs, as tab-group separators) 3) Has a pretty good amount of configurability. 4) Ability to access the virtually unlimited set of backgrounds available on Unsplash. Main feature requests: 1) Add a "bookmarks" widget, which adds a bar at the top or bottom showing the bookmarks -- like the bar that shows on the Chrome default new-tab page. (to avoid additional upfront permissions, it can be set to be a dynamic request -- only activated if someone tries to add the bookmarks widget) 2) Add a "refresh background button" widget. For request #2, I did figure out a workaround in the meantime: (I added the CSS below to a "Custom CSS" widget, which adds a pseudo-button at the top-left of the Settings panel to toggle the background settings, causing an image refresh...) ========== .UnsplashSettings > label:nth-child(3) > input:not(:checked) { position: fixed; top: 15px; left: 18px; width: 20px; height: 20px; } .UnsplashSettings > label:nth-child(5) > input:not(:checked) { position: fixed; top: 15px; left: 18px; width: 20px; height: 20px; } ==========

There’s a nasty bug where all user customizations (layout and custom CSS) will be lost at some point. They also have this issue for Firefox.

I love how simple this is and how I can totally customize it. Adding widgets and being able to move them around is an amazing feature!! Best extension I have ever installed! Definitely worth it!!

This extension is just wonderful. The photos are stunning -- no juiced-up, tacky "wallpaper" pictures -- and you can tinker with the information it shows you, the font, how often the photos change, what type to show you (using key words). You can pause it if there's one you really like. Sometimes I open a bunch of new tabs just to see the pictures.

Sometimes tabliss resets settings to default without my permission

I loved this when I first got it...the photos were stunning and lovely. Lately I am seeing crabs and lizards! What's up?? Please go back to the beautiful landscapes!

Perfect, simple, unlimited, customizable, and minimalist. Everything I need. I usually don't rate anything 5/5, but this thing? Can't find any fault with it. This thing suits all my needs, and it's so beautiful on my new tabs. And it's fully customizable to how you want it. It's got so many choices too! Unlike most extensions, you don't even have to pay, and yet it's better than most. This deserves more users.

I've been using this on my Chrome as well as Firefox browsers and it provides execellent support on both of them. Plus, the customization is very easy. Kudos to the development and design team.

Recently, my Microsoft Edge start page has decided to go rogue and disappear on me and I found this through a Reddit comment. It's so perfect: minimal, options to customise widgets etc. I just spent the past hour designing my new tab page WOW

Wow, Beautiful. I like how you can customize it in many different ways. This is straight out the most customizable new tab you can get without having in app purchases. I recommend this.

This is my favorite new tab extension. I just wish there was a way to add original icons to the quick links.

This extension is amazing, but I really wish it was available in Opera. Just switched to Opera. Installed the Install Chrome Extensions extension from Opera, but Tabliss does not work in Opera. It just exists. Does nothing:(

PERFECT EXCEPT SMALL BUG LIKE sometime wallpaper never change for long time even in everytab new wallpaper option and clock not visible on whiteis wallpaper if we change clock to dark than not visible on dark wall so need something border or near area blur anything that solve this issue otherwise everything good love it your work

A beautiful extension, BUT it comes with a 'but', specifically ever since I've installed this extension, the bookmarks bar doesn't temporarily show up in the NewTab page like the default Chrome behavior. Let me explain: before this extension, when I had the bookmarks bar hidden the default NewTab page behavior was to show the bookmarks bar temporarily until I go to a specific address after which it would hide it again. With this extension, however, the bookmarks bar remains hidden at all times, forcing me to manually show/hide the bookmarks bar. TIP: if the bookmarks bar is hidden, the NewTab page should temporarily show the bookmarks bar to allow you to visit a specific bookmark that's not part of the newtab thumbnails/pins.

THIS IS WAAAY BETTER THAN MOMENTUM!! Momentum you have to pay for everything like for changing pictures and stuff but this is one is eaasily configurable and you don't have to pay a penny.

Remove & forget about!!! Because: 1. the normal day is 24 hrs.....tabliss clock shows 24:09:48 2. some photo location is Turkey (exactly as thanksgiving/thankstaking bird)....tabliss spells Turky With a little work and care they all can be fixed....good luck

For me, every time I open the chrome after a fresh PC reboot, I loose all the settings that I had configured previously. It loads in default mode.

This is just amazing. It is completely customizable, fast and has great images. It's like Momentum, but better.

Really the best new tab extension there is! Only gripe I have is that lately I have the same picture get stuck and show up indefinitely. I can change settings and there's a new picture that shows while I'm doing that, but once I make a new tab, it still shows up with the old picture that it was stuck at. Seems to happen with Unsplash only, and it happens both when using the official collection or a custom search. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it fixes it, but after about a week, it's gotten stuck again.

First time I've ever taken the time to leave a comment here. this one is simply the best! the others try to charge a "premium" for features this one has out the box!

Best 'new tab' extension ever!

The extension is great but the quick links widget suddenly stopped saving my changes. It's strange because everything else works just fine.

This extension is pretty great; aesthetically pleasing design, simple yet powerful, true FLOSS. I LOVE how easy it is to customize with custom CSS. Liberally licensed (GPL v3), no paywalls, and seemingly pretty open open source. Tabliss is definitely worth a try if you want to jazz up your new tab page and definitely worth a donation for software done right.

This extension makes my Chrome and Firefox browser look so much fresher and modern. Thank you very much for this clean interface, I hope that this may always remain available on both browsers.

It would be great if there was a doc for widget developing for tabliss, but it's great!

Love it! It simple and at the same time highly customizable.

I use Brave instead of Chrome but I don't like how you can't customize Brave's new tab page. Tabliss solves that problem! This is beautiful and clean. I really don't like looking at the bookmarks bar every time I open a new tab either and Tabliss solves that problem as well. Highly recommended, hope this never becomes abandonware.

Such a great piece of work. It does not bloat, and does not try to do a whole lot extra. I also like the fact that I can use custom CSS and JS. Would be nice from developer to give the class names, so that I do not dive into the DOM to get the selector :) .

Great tool one request. I wish the Quick Links widget supported links other than "http" for Chrome specific URI's like "chrome://extensions/". It lets me create links like this, and they appear on the page, but do nothing when clicked.

I created an account just to rate Tabliss lol. I really appreciate the effort that was put into this. The daily quotes inspire me for the day, the literature blocks related to the time of day are really interesting, and best of all the new pictures with every tab are always awesome and never repeated.

Fast, clean, add-free, highly customizable, being constantly updated with new features and UI-improvements. Simply the best tab extension out there in my opinion.

Gorgeous and well made extension! Love the customability, including being able to add custom css. It's perfect. The only thing missing is a donate button in the settings. I know that Dark Sky weather charges developers for data.
